Finally, IPL to start in September and end in November means they aren't cutting out on games. Without audience it won't be fun to watch but still something better than nothing. I wish they play in India only as the situation in other countries would make it more risky for them and the other players.
India has got a huge fanbase for Cricket. Each match played on the top cities of India makes the entire season to be a celebration. As the match is scheduled to be conducted in UAE, we don't know how interesting is this season of IPL. Now most of the cricket gamblers make them prepared for the betting on different matches.

Indians will still celebrate IPL by watching it online or on Television. IPL means everything to every cricketing fan aroung the globe, as in 2020 it is one of the major and only cricketing events.
Yes, IPL has turned to be one among the most popular leagues played. This has got viewers all around, because from each and every country few players are into the league on different teams. Another thing is the time taken for the entire match to get complete. Mostly the matches were scheduled for the evening which makes everyone watch it having fun.

If not for the pandemic there will not be any changes for any of these tournament and i believe India is not in a position to allow any sporting events let alone the audience in the stadium and it is a good move by the IPL organizers if they want to continue with the tournament and i read in sports sites that the UAE government is waiting for the NOC from the Indian government to carry on with the tournament.

Since gambling is not legal in India, the bets will be placed on online gambling sites that are based outside India, or they will be done using underground gambling dens. In either case, the Indian government is going to lose a lot of money. The total tax revenue from the IPL stands at around $150 million per year. But if the gambling is made legal, the government can earn many times this amount.

In a country where daily new highs are being made then previous day and situation does not look good as it is spreading way too fast now so it would not be possible to conduct in such situation as also the security in IPL needs to be provided which state may not be able to handle at this time. So, decision to move outside is correct as per this situation.

Is this true?

If this news is confirmed, then it is very serious. For those who don't know, Methamphetamine is not a performance enhancing drug. It is a recreational drug, similar to heroin, cocaine and LSD.
This is definitely true. Check these articles out.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newindianexpress.com/sport/cricket/2020/jul/27/bangladesh-pacer-qazi-onik-banned-for-two-years-for-failing-doping-test-2175486.amp

This isn't surprising at all. I have seen Cricketers with far higher potential getting banned due to these issues over the years around the world(Prithvi Shaw etc). Some recover while others succumb to these drugs. That is the reality.

Another Bangladesh player is suspended for 2 years, Qazi Onik was caught by the anti doping for using Methamphetamine. The youngsters are getting caught for doping and it is a situation the authorities have to study.

In many of the countries, the possession of Methamphetamine is a severe criminal offense. For example in Singapore if you are caught with more than 250 grams of Meth, then you may get the death penalty. I am not sure about the case with Bangladesh, but in many of the Asian countries the possession of Meth is punishable by death. It looks like this guy got a 2 years suspension instead of a prison term, or even capital punishment. He is very lucky.

BTW, I heard that Bangladesh is suffering from a spike in Meth addiction. Myanmar remains the no.1 Meth producer in the world, and the tablets are smuggled in to Bangladesh by criminal gangs mostly operated by the Rohingyas.

BCCI is one of most productive unit for Indian government and now we have good news Australia New Zealand and South African boards already announces they will give NOC to players for participating in IPL2020 surely Indian government will give some soft corner about this all and have their share for allowing this all.
A corrupt board like BCCI is obviously profitable for the corrupt BJP government at present. Even if various world governments go ahead and hand out NOC to players, do you really expect all players to get on board?

It's not that simple. Most players will definitely value their lives over money which is why this tournament will probably be missing many great talents making it less entertaining.

Is there a doping body that check every cricket players like USADA or WADA, looks like there are random test and i remember Shane Warne getting caught and missing the World cup and Stephen Fleming getting caught for marijuana which was absurd as it is not even a doping substance, i would like to know how these testing are conducted as we see these doping results once in a while and some players are caught randomly.

BCCI wants to held IPL on NZ. but NZ cricket board didn't response.
Nope, they didn't, It was speculation.

Secondly, they could have organized IPL in Sri Lanka. but the BCCI may not have shown interest in Sri Lanka because of the recent remarks made by Sri Lanka against India in fixing the 2011 world cup.
BCCI and SLC both have good relations despite this recent fixing allegations. BCCI didn't even took these allegation seriously so its safe to assume that there must be a another reason, for ex ; logistic, stadiums or anything else.

Tax thingy seems valid reason.

----------
Edit : I think this could be a real reason, SriLanka organizing their own tournament.

Anyway, the Indian government is going to lose somewhere between ₹1,000 to ₹2,000 crore, if the IPL is held outside India. That's why I am still doubtful whether the Indian government will give permission to the BCCI, to hold IPL 2020 outside India. Perhaps the BCCI can reach some sort of a deal with the government, especially since Sourav Ganguly is considered as very close to the ruling party.
Do you think the Indian government is in a position to allow the BCCI to conduct the tournament, there is a certain funds the government is collecting in the name of disaster funds and they started collecting in the name of corona and i have no clue what they are doing with the millions they collected as there is no auditing in those funds and the situation there is no way the pandemic is under control even with months of lock down and there is no clarity on what the government is going to do and with all these there is no way the government will be crying about the money.

On the other hand, i agree with you that, if BCCI organize IPL in UAE then they will benefit financially. because of they do not have to pay any kind of tax.

If the BCCI want to conduct the IPL 2020 in a safe country, then they would have gone for Sri Lanka or negotiated with the New Zealand Cricket Board. There have been no locally transmitted cases in these countries for the last few months. But they have gone with the United Arab Emirates. Now I smell something fishy with this move. One of the reasons may be that there is no income tax or corporate tax in the UAE. The players are going to receive their full salary, without any tax deduction. The franchises are also going to be happy, as they don't have to pay any tax on their revenue. But the presence of match fixing syndicates in Sharjah and some of the other emirates worry me.

In India the situation is worse, maybe UAE might have got other plans. To my knowledge India is atleast trying to have control with some lockdowna at regular intervals. Through my friends in UAE came to know that there is no restriction and the medical support isn't good as India. Maybe for the players they'll provide PPT kit while playing which keeps them away from corona  Grin Cheesy
I have no idea about individuals and expats living in UAE during this period, i have seen international events taking place in the UAE successfully in the past month and the security and testing were of high quality and if the government welcomes the BCCI to conduct the IPL then we will see the same kind of precaution and if they can conduct one international event successfully then they can conduct again.

At least from the stats, it looks as if UAE is even more dangerous than India.
You are saying that the BCCI is moving with the IPL despite the risk in UAE and the rising number is far greater than India and if that is the situation and they wanted to conducted the tournament why you think they really moved to the UAE including the training session, you think the facility is far greater than India or there is something else than the statistics you said, as per data the situation in India is getting worse hitting hundred thousand patients every couple of days.
