3 New Bilateral Tours are coming up fellas.

- Australia Tour of South Africa 21st Feb (4 t-20 and 2 ODI)
- West Indies Tour of Sri Lanka 22nd Feb ( 4 ODI and 2 T-20 )
- Zimbabwe tour of Bangladesh 22nd Feb ( 1 Test , 3 ODI and 2 T-20)

ODI series seems pointless this year TBH. Anyways some interesting encounter are coming, Warner-Smith duo entering in the South Africa's territory after "Sandpaper gate" Scandal (It happened in SA). Let's see if they face any backlash from the spectators.

SA vs Aus

South Africa Squad for T-20

- Temba Bavuma is not available for first T-20 due to "Hamstring Strain"
- Rabada and Faf du Plessis are back
- AB de Villiers name is popping here and there after SA's Coach Mark Boucher gave one favorable statement on his comeback.

Quote
SA squad: Quinton de Kock. Temba Bavuma, Faf du Plessis, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Pite van Biljon, Dwaine Pretorius, Andile Phehlukwayo, Jon-Jon Smuts, Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi, Lungi Ngidi, Bjorn Fortuin, Anrich Nortje, Dale Steyn, Heinrich Klaasen

-No spot for Glenn Maxwell in Australian T-20 squad ..

Quote
Aus squad : Finch, Warner, Smith, D Arcy short, Mitchell Marsh, Ashton Agar, Jhye Richardson, Alex Carrey, Mattew Wade, Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa, Mitchell Starc, Kane Richardson, Sean Abbott

Yeah Maxwell was left out once again. I never understand why the Australian selectors leave Maxwell out of the T20 team all the time even though he has played well in the domestic competition, it just doesn't make sense to me as he is one of the top T20 players when he is in form so he should be playing in most T20 matches but for some reason he never gets picked to play.

What you are thinking about PSL it is going to be start February 20 onwards in Pakistan. How pakistan can they gives security for foreign players? and Pakistan peoples are going give good responses to PSL? Please share your thoughts here.

Last time when Bangladesh visited Pakistan they closed the whole area near the stadium. A group of intelligence and security officials was accompanying the Bangladesh team. They provided the security of the highest level as if the head of any country was traveling.

They are trying there level best. I am sure they will do the same this time also. PSL is popular in Pakistan but it still needs more exposure for other cricketing countries to follow.

Franchise T20 leagues have emerged as the main revenue generators for various cricket boards around the world, including the BCCI, ECB and CA. The PCB has yet to fully capitalize on the PSL, since the previous editions were being conducted in the United Arab Emirates. This time, hopefully they will be able to generate more revenue as it is being played within Pakistan.

I am sure that the Pakistan authorities will provide the best security for the entire tournament because a couple of days back there was a terrorist attack in Pakistan and a few people killed and i saw that in the news and hence with the government planning to revive cricket they will be extra cautious that nothing bad would happen.

^^^^ The omission of Glenn Maxwell surprised me.
Couple of month back he took a break from International cricket, so may be its related or not?

Bro, you might want to stop by in Bitcointalk PSL T20 Pool and discussion: Click Here. Its free to join.

Now coming back to your question, very few foreign players participating in PSL maximum 10-12 and Matches are schedule in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan. Its safe part of Pakistan so there should be no security concern for any players.

^^^^ The omission of Glenn Maxwell surprised me. He is one of the hardest hitters in T20 format across the globe. Mediocre players such as D'Árcy Short, Alex Carrey and Mattew Wade have been selected to the squad and Maxwell was omitted. Normally I don't complain much about the Australian selection policy, but this one raises a red flag for me.

I think
South Africa has a shortage of mental improvement. There is no consistency in their game since the World Cup. They lost their pelache traditions. Dale Steyn at the time of the burn in my opinion, has made himself to play tournament like IPL.
They lack a super star player like they used to have in the past and David Miller should play as the finisher and in the recent series the openers played really well and if ADB is included in the team for the World Cup then they will have a quality top order and then Miller could come in the last overs and score quickly and if the fast bowlers are fit then they can be a top team for the World Cup.

Steyn/Ngidi/Rabada looks formidable in T20 format. The only issue here is that all three of them are very prone to injury and I don't know whether all of them will be fit by the time of the T20 world cup. In that case, they will be forced to play sub-standard players such as Andile Phehlukwayo and Beuran Hendricks. And given that it is South Africa, I don't know whether all these players will remain in South Africa, or they will go Kolpak.
Injury is a major concern for South Africa and the rest of the teams and South Africa was affected by injuries even during the ODI World Cup and they had the worst performance to date and if they is no injury to their main players and if ABD gets selected to the team then they will be a formidable team that could challenge any team and now Dale Steyn will be participating in PSL and then in the IPL to have some exposure and these two tournaments will have a major impact on the team selection .

Women's T20 world cup starts on coming 21st and in first match India is going to face the host Australia. Currently I am betting only on freebitco.in and I checked with them, it seems they are not covering this women's tournament. Not sure about the reasons from them to ignore this one of the major event of cricket world.

Edit:
Just checked with stakes sportsbetting platform they are currently listing practice matches also with odds. It means I believe women T20 world cup matches might be available on stakes to bet with.

If South Africa opted to bowl first, the total story would have been complete different; I am saying this with consideration of wonderful batting pitch and South Africa chose to bat first due to their 2 run defeat in second T20I. Sounds like misled by recent tracks rather than considering the nature of flat pitch. Luckily I bet on England and got good returns as odds were too good.

England seems too stronger with their batting line up compared to their bowling unit. This may be due to the flat pitch almost all the bowlers were leaking runs there. I choose England with half mind as hosts are always my favorite to bet with but my inner thoughts guided me to bet on England and I was right with my prediction. Really a rare one for me Smiley.

The pitch was not much different from the other T20 surfaces. Rather than the ground conditions, it was the smaller boundaries which gave extra advantage to the batsmen. On top of that, both the teams were strong in their batting departments and weak in bowling. England was missing star bowlers such as Jofra Archer, while South Africa was missing Rabada.

Fast bowling is a concern, as they consistently conceded over 200 in the T20 series. Even Dale Steyn looked out of form. Ngidi looked good in the first match, but he was very expensive in the second and third matches. Andile Phehlukwayo was mediocre, and I really hope that they will replace him with someone who is more capable of bowling at the death overs.
Dale Steyn is coming back in the team after a long lay off and he will need some matches to get back in his groove and their world cup squad will consist of Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada and Dale Steyn and it will be a good formidable attack and they need to find two bowlers to complete the quota. The Australian grounds will be bigger and if they create pitches that have equal importance to bowlers and batsman then it would be a good contest for all the team. Australia, India and England are the favorites to win the cup and if ABD returns it will strengthen South Africa and their possibilities.

@RapTarX : Haha it was sweet victory. After watching South Africa inning, I didn't had much hope from England as it was big target but they did it anyway. Quite comfortably and in style, congrats to you too.  Grin
Thanks, I was about to lose a big sum. I was quite confidence before the match started. In fact, it's reasonable to expect England to win over South Africa provided that SA's recent performance was bad for a long time. But after SA put such a big target, I was too a bit worried hahaha. Because this is the big amount I have bet ever. I used to bet lower amount on sportsbet; same as in others games though.
Lucky that England played as they should be.

Before these three matches, we (or at least I) considered South Africa to be extremely weak in T20s, but they've turned around those speculations for sure!
All the matches were really close and news are coming out that Du Plessis reigned his T20 and Test captaincy and the openers played really well in the series and the rumors that AB de Villiers will be returning for the World Cup would boost their batting strength and if their main bowlers are injury free then they will have a strong team. They need to figure out the fast bowling combination as Andile Phehlukwayo, Beuran Hendricks and Dwaine Pretorius were not that effective in the concluded series.
