Rahul & Kohli partnership seal the match for India and what a way to chase down the score of 208 runs and that too with 6 wickets remaining and 8 balls to spare. Shows how well they batted under the pressure of chasing such a huge score.

Undoubtedly India is one of the possible winner of the upcoming T20 world cup. The fashion they win the matches is a beauty to see. I was thinking a win for WI after having that much run in the scoreboard but I was wrong. Good thing that I was not in gambling mood or could lose money easily. India made this chase so easy that it never felt that it was 200+ runs to chase.

The same was said about India before the ODI world cup as well (CWC 2019), but they even failed to reach the final. Undoubtedly India is one of the strongest T20 teams out there, but IMO, the winner of the 2020 T20 World Cup is going to be either England or Australia. West Indies may reach the semi-finals, but they may find it difficult to find a slot in the final.

@SaShiRaJaVu i did not expect India to chase this score after Rohit Sharma lost his wicket and Kohli was struggling in the crease for a long time and i expected him to get out eventually but then he turned things around and lead from the front to win the match and the decision by the ICC to monitor all the balls by the third umpire for no balls was a good decision as the on field umpire did not spot a few when i was watching too but India did not capitalize on those free hits though Tongue.

@7788bitcoin initially it was scary to watch Kohli struggle, but then again he loves chasing more than anything hence it’s not surprising he was able to keep his calm and chase down the target. I was bit disappointed with Rohit’s dismissal because team India really needed him, but then luckily for them Kohli was in no mood to accept defeat. It’s worth mentioning that even Pant played a nice innings, considering the amount of criticism he’s received this innings should silence his critics.

Shows the depth in the Indian batting lineup. And I have a feeling that nowadays the team is not overly dependent on Virat Kohli (at least for the home matches). Normally it is Rohit who starts smashing the bowlers from the first ball, but yesterday it was the turn of KL Rahul. It was once again disappointing to see Rishabh Pant failing, especially after he smashed the first ball that he faced to six. I am of the opinion that other players such as Samson needs to be considered for the wicket keeper slot (given that Rahul is no longer being considered as a keeper).

He is already a legend. He will surely score more than others and his average is also good. But dont forget that there are some new younger generation players who have started scoring faster and we may see someone faster than him in near future.
He is playing really well and if he can perform like this for the rest of his cricketing career he will break many records, in this generation Kohli and Smith are the most prolific batsman and Root and Williamson are behind them in terms of consistency.

The match was predictable today as this West Indies team lacks team effort and Indian side was more concrete.
Before the series everyone thought it will be a one sided trashing but once West Indies scored 207 runs it was not an easy chase but then Kohli took the anchor role and stood till the end and won the match.
In recent cricket Rohit Sharma too an able cricketer who has thrashed several records. He doesn't have such a consistency same as Virat Kohli. If he gives a good start then the team score will fly. Recently one of the senior cricketer stated him to be the one to score 300+ in an ODI as his scoring will be very fast once after he crosses 100. For the first hundred it takes time, further the second hundred will be reached in much lesser time.

By the way, I like the way Kohli finished the match and also the celebration of the winning hit. This guy is a legend although  he still has a long way to go to get his name next to the other legands like Sachin.

There was a time when cricket meant India and Pakistan but now it's only India.
It is true that Kohli is a future legend and for him to be placed in high regard he needs to play consistantly for a longer period of time, the way in which he is playing in all the formats and the amount of runs he has scored indicates that he might surpass many records created by Sachin and his consistency in all the formats is impressive, hands down the best player in this era.

He was struggling to get his touch back. He was having difficulties to chase down runs in T20 and ODI. But I think today he just gets back his magical touch and wins it for India. Two of his flick and the last six were best of the match.

Pant will never get matured, India should search for is a replacement.

It is surprising that this guy is getting so many chances. Just a few days back, Virat Kohli openly came in support for him. The slot of the wicket keeper has always remained as a contentious one in the Indian squad. A lot of undeserving players got to represent India through this particular slot. I am talking about players such as MSK Prasad (the current national selector), Dinesh Karthik and now Rishabh Pant.

Kohli is in the crease and whether the will be able to chase this total is a big question as he is not playing the T20 format for quite some time and even in the IPL he did not have any major impact and so i am going with West Indies to win the match
India won the match with 8 balls left and Virat Kohli lead the team to victory as he started striking the ball after facing 24 balls and it was a masterclass knock and you do not need to be a power hitter to win matches, he is a classic batsman who can strike the ball really well and most of the sixes were really huge and Kohli was really motivated after reaching his 50.

Virat Kohli was struggling to score runs till he was 44 runs to time the ball but now he is playing smoothly and with confidence and clearing the boundaries and now India is in a winning position, the decision to give third umpire to check no balls pay dividends as three no balls were called by the third umpire which was missed by the on field umpire and it was a good decision by the ICC.

Pant is back in the pavilion need 29 runs from 20 balls.

None could've expected such a mass performance from West Indies. This is how the cricketing of West Indies players change in no time. Somehow Indian players haven't given up looking the score. As usual Virat has taken responsibility and now the match has come to the last two overs with West Indies having a winning possibility of 4% which was once 60%

This was a match that West Indies could have won. But now it looks like India will win by a comfortable margin. Apart from Sheldon Cottrell, all the other bowlers were wayward. The ease at which Virat and Rahul scoring those boundaries really surprised me. Virat was just casually flicking the ball and it was sailing over the boundary ropes. Very humiliating and demoralizing match for the West Indies.

Rohit Sharma is back in the pavillion, and he failed to get in to the double digits. KL Rahul s batting at 30, and India's chances will depend on him and Virat Kohli. If the West Indian bowlers can get these two quickly, then they will be able to wrap up this match. Sheldon Cottrell has been exceptional so far, but he has got only one over remaining.

WI are putting pressure on them with singles and 2s so Virat may take risk to get runs soon with over 11 RRR. Still we have Iyer and Pant too who can manage to get 4s and 6s so hope won't be lost even after losing Virat and Rahul.

It is still a very tight game and the required run rate has now climbed to more than 12 runs per over. India has 9 wickets remaining, and as long as KL Rahul and Virat Kohli are out there, they will be at an advantage when compared to West Indies. All the West Indian bowlers apart from Cottrell have gone for plenty of runs and they badly needs a wicket at this stage.

West Indies without a strong team posted a total of over 200 runs and India needs 208 runs to win  Cheesy, it is a huge total to chase even for a team like India and they do not have any explosive players and if you are going over 10 runs per over it is difficult for any team and it all depends upon how Rohit Sharma can give them a good start, if West Indies could bowl a good line and length then they can win the match as they have the total to win.

India started really well and if Rohit Sharma bat throughout then any total can be chased  Wink .
The dream of Sharma batting throughout the innings is over as they holed out in the deep straight to the fielder, Kohli is in the crease and whether the will be able to chase this total is a big question as he is not playing the T20 format for quite some time and even in the IPL he did not have any major impact and so i am going with West Indies to win the match but India is still maintaining a good run rate and if they are able to score the runs without loosing much wicket then it is possible to chase the total.
