I watched the game today and one thing I thought was that with today's win, one team strongly held the number one position in the points table and another lost the chance to qualify for the playoff round. As much joy as this match is for one team, it is as much pain for the other team. But there is no point in SRH regretting today's match as they have been doing badly from the start. If they started badly and came back like Mumbai Indians in the middle of the game, then maybe SRH would have been in a good position in the points table at the moment. SRH was eliminated from the group stage after losing by 34 runs against Gujarat Titans.

SRH is out of the playoff. It have got two more matches, one against RCB and the other one against Mumbai Indians. In the 12 matches played SRH have won 4 matches. Even if the remaining two matches were won the points will reach 12 and the run rate is on the negative side. The fourth positioned LSG is having 13 points. At any circumstances SRH won't be able to reach 13 points. This confirm that the entry for the playoff is closed for SRH. Maybe it can start its preparation for the upcoming season.

And at the end of the Gujurat Titans shows that why they placed the top rank of point table in this IPL season. I was already thinking that Gujarat Titans are going to win today's match, and it has come true. But I want to give full credit to Shubman Gill for Gujarat Titans victory in today's match. He played a awesome role in this match and successfully make his century from only 58 ball and the strike rate is over 174, and by this century he done his 6th century of the year. And today he wrote his name on the top three Impactful batters today. Anyway best of luck to shubman gill for the days ahead..
And if I talk about the performance of Sunrisers Hyderabad then , The performance was comparatively worse than Gujarat Titans from the beginning as we can understand if we look at the figure of run worm and run rate.  Both their batting and bowling performances were poor today, especially with none of the batsmen performing well except Heinrich Klaasen.

I don't think that in this season Sunrisers Hyderabad will be able to qualify the playoff. Mumbau Indians are one of strong performer team in this season . Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost with Mumbai Indians before, I don't think that Sunrisers Hyderabad have the ability stand against the batsmen of Mumbai Indians. So I want to say that I have no hope for Sunrisers Hyderabad in this IPL season.

As it turned out, SRH actually managed to get closer than I originally thought they would be able to. It was only by 34 runs that they lost the match. Having said that, I also think that GT might have taken it a little easy towards the end because they already understood that they were not going to lose this match. There is still a substantial margin between the two teams. I just thought that it was going to be bigger. There is no doubt that SRH will not be able to go on to the next stage of the IPL in this season.

Even the individual performance is enough with T20 format cricket, but the score from the particular player needs to be high. With most of the matches, the score have come from 2-3 players. Maybe if others too have performed good, SRH might've been seen at a better position on the points table.

SRH have lost the match by 34 runs. One more match left against Mumbai Indians which is an important match for Mumbai Indians to qualify for the playoff. Most of the time teams that have got eliminated used to play major role in other teams move to the next round. In such way SRH could make some twist and turn, though it is out of this season's IPL.

Sunrisers Hyderabad now needs around 62 runs in 18 balls. This is an impossible task for them especially when only 2 wickets are remaining for them. Gujarat Titans will retain their first spot. Sunrisers Hyderabad may also remain at their lowest 9t position on the table.
Heinrich Klaasen scored 64 runs from 44 balls and the rest of the batsmen scored nothing at all.

This IPL may be all over for Sunrisers Hyderabad but they need to think what went wrong as they had some really good players in the team but the team never played as a unit.

SRH has already lost 7 wickets. That has also cost them to not keep up with the required run rate. Klaasen is still in the middle not out on 63. But he is not going to be able to give SRH the desired win alone. They need 18 runs per over from now on. It is absolutely impossible with having three wickets in hand. Klaasen needed to have most of the strike if SRH even wanted to get closer to the total. But it looks like his partner right now is wasting a lot of balls. That is certainly adding more pressure. I think they should understand that they are not going to win this match. The only positive to take away was the half-century from Klaasen

SRH is one among the best team, it lacks consistent performance. It was the team that scored 228 runs and chased a target of 214 runs. Same team lost against Delhi Capitals, unable to reach the target of 144 runs. The on-going match seems even bad as the team have lost 7 wickets scoring 104 runs. Klaasen have scored 51* runs and the next top scorer is the bowler Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. This performance isn't enough to reach the top position on the points table. The team players are good and they need improvement for better progress in the upcoming seasons of IPL.

LOL! In which sense of mind did you expect SRH not getting bulldozed by GT. SRH is one of the most weak team and a classic example of a management that has no clue! They bought decan chargers which according to me was a great team. When the owners got banned this team was.bought by a group who had zero idea/knowledge about cricket.

To date this is evident. This team is a messed up combination.if you want me to go into deep I can. After PBKS this will be one of the worst team in any season of IPL.

SRH are getting mauled by GT at the moment. GT qualified for the playoffs, but they also made sure that they will grab one of the top two spots with this win thanks to the high margin of victory.

SRH need to fire their current management and hire fresh faces if they wish to go back to winning ways in future seasons.

With the current situation and performance of RR most chances they will be out of the top four after having one of the best start recently because in early matches as they were playing I was feeling they could be at the top of the league table, but suddenly we have decline in performance, and now they are going to pay for this last match is going to play against PBKS which is having fair chance for the qualifying into last four because now they are going to play their next match against DC in case of win they will have 14 points and after this match they will play against struggling RR which is currently at the sixth and now for the qualification we have to wait for the other teams results as well if they want to jump into last four which is realistically not going into their favor.

Yes but still their batting is good specially shubman Gill century is worth appreciating he is the reason gujarat Titans are going to win today . Other than hum Muhammad shami is saving his team with brilliant balling he already took 3 wickets in less than 5 overs and made difficult for sunrisers to stand on field for long .

For playoffs, calculations are becoming tough this season.

Many teams depend on other team's results. Atm CSK and GT are looking safe but it could change if they manage to lose their match. Although GT seems to doing fine tonight so they might cross the line but nothing is impossible when the deck is a belter.

If anybody thinks the Gujrat Titans today's match makes any difference then you are wrong. They are already in the playoffs and at the moment I would say they are playing this match casually. 156/3 at the end of the 15th over shows how professional this team has been. I again would think that they would pick the cup for this season too. They have nothing to lose! Most of them are still new and IPL is helping them to gain more experience. I wont  be surprised to see a few players being part of their WC team.   

Gujarat Titans have managed to collect 140 runs so far, with only 7 overs to play. I have no idea how many runs can be scored in these seven overs. But minimum 70 runs must be scored in 7 overs. As Gujarat Titans have enough batsmen it is desirable to collect this run.

If Gujarati Titans can perform at their best in today's match then the knockout phase will be assured. Because today's batting performance is very good, two batsmen in Sudarshan and Shubman Gill have shone. Scored 116 runs in 10.3 overs. But today is likely to be a high score as wickets have fallen early but no wickets have fallen later and they have been scoring huge runs. Sunrise Hyderabad's bowling line and fielding is very bad especially the boundaries are not able to protest in any way.

Gujarat Titans vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, 62nd Match

The innings of Gujarat Titans started with the fall of wickets at the beginning of the match. Wriddhiman Saha returns for 0 run. So today's match is going to be a low score? Such questions are present in almost everyone now. But few overs later Gujarat Titans is on fire. The match score can be reached the highest level. At the end of the first 6 over Gujrat Titans collect 65 by losing 1 wicket. It is said that Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers failed in bowling in the first 6 overs.

I never imagined that Rajasthan would lose so badly. They lost all their wickets in just 10.3 overs. And this team has collected the lowest score of this year's IPL. They managed to collect only 59 runs. And due to defeat in this match by 112 runs, the team has fallen behind in the Net run rate. Also important is that Rajasthan Royals' qualification for the knockout round will depend on the performance of LSG and Bengaluru. If LSG manages to win even one of their next two matches, Rajasthan will not be able to finish in the top four of the table. Punjab Kings also continue to fight for a place in the top four of the table. And so qualifying for the knockout round is almost impossible for Kolkata and Rajasthan.

With this humiliating defeat it will not be easy for RR to qualify for the playoffs. GT has qualified but CSK needs to win the match against DC to confirm their qualification. MI,  LSG & RCB both needs to win all their left over matches. Which according to me is highly unlikely. RR fate now depends on others teams win & lose. Yesterday matches have made things quite complicated for both CSK and RR.

Bengaluru and LSG if they lose their next two matches. And if Rajasthan can win their last match against Punjab Kings then they have a chance to qualify for the knockout round. The possibility of this is very low. I don't think LSG and Bengaluru will lose both of their next two matches. One team between LSG and Bengaluru will qualify for the knockout round. Both the teams have performed well in their last matches. And so it is very difficult to predict which team will occupy the fourth place in the table.
