In a story like this which is one of the stories of other people's luck, honestly I don't always think about what I would do if I got lucky like him. But I always have thoughts about how much money they spent before getting that luck.
Even though it was really luck, I believe no casino wants to go bankrupt and of course they have spent a lot of money before getting that luck.

If you were in his shoes, would you continue buying the lotto tickets ?
And regarding this question I will answer that I will use the money to build a big successful business and continue to buy lottery tickets with the same amount as before getting that luck. But it should be noted that I do all this because for me gambling is just an entertainment that can be used while testing luck.

I'm copying this interesting story as it is:
A Calgary man just won $5M in the Oct. 9 Lotto 6/49 Classic draw— three years after bagging $1M in 2021. After buying a house and car last time, he’s now planning to invest in real estate, stocks, and bonds. He’s also eyeing a trip overseas to visit family.

Some people have been hit by lightning twice in their lifetimes, this guy had the opposite form of luck. The odds of making such huge wins are always tiny, but there is that expression "you have to be in it to win it" which applies here, some people never leave the house and you're less likely to hear about those people winning big - compared to the massive celebration that would surround you in a real world casino. I'm glad that this person invested their money wisely and spread out the risk in other assets, because sometimes such a big win results in people throwing it all back into the casino within a short space of time. I'm guessing from such large wins that this person might play higher than average stakes as well.

$50 million is such a huge amount of winning that can get anyone tied to what gives them such an amount of winning,

Just to correct you, it’s not $50 million - it’s $5 million. Still, that’s a huge amount of money, and winning it for the second time is incredible luck. Lottery isn’t for everyone, though, since less than 1% of all bettors ever get lucky enough to win a million dollars. To hit it twice? That’s what you call extreme luck!
Thanks the error in figures have been corrected, the gambler must be a smart guy because In his last win the guy is taking steps to building his future and although even though the first winning went on luxury now he can start real estate, this is quite a good utilization of such unexpected luck and becoming rich through the lottery and he must be one hell of a lucky guy to win twice is somewhat a big one for the guy and hoping he spend wisely going forward and shouldn't take this winning to mean some form of consistent skill or approach that can make him stake higher amounts when buying the next lottery tickets.

It is $5 million.
Thanks man!

Congratulations to him for such an achievement, maybe he is a very lucky person who won the tickets twice and got a lot of money from this lottery. I read in an article in November that the person who won the $5 million tickets was named Osman Adam. He has decided to invest now, maybe it will be the right decision for him.

To be honest, I have never won the tickets, so maybe lottery is not for everyone. If I had got such a large amount of money at once like that person, I would have tried to establish a very good business with that money and try to live comfortably.  Cheesy

I might still buy lotto tickets just like he did. But I would consider computing the amount that I will be spending so that it won't affect the money that I want to save and spend for myself and my family.
It's not wrong because that's where the money came from and asking for one more win is not like you are trying to take advantage of them, you are risking your money too so it's just fair.
Do remember, once a person starts to taste that sweet win, he will always come back for more. That's just what he did.

$50 million is such a huge amount of winning...

It is $5 million. Three years ago he earned a million and now this. Total $6M. At least the first time he bought a house and a car and now he plans to invest. Where the money from the first million is going is middle class mentality but what he wants to do now is more of a rich man's mentality.

Well done, I would say. There are not rare cases of people who end up ruined a few years after winning the lottery for spending it on bullshit that loses value or entails high maintenance costs.

$5 million is such a huge amount of winning that can get anyone tied to what gives them such an amount of winning, and if I am the man, why not I will spend some of that money on purchasing more lottery tickets with the hopes of winning, but then while doing that, one needs to apply caution so that he won't get carried away to waste all the money back on buying new tickets, But in all, the man choice of investment is ok since he has two investments plans that are long-term oriented such as real estate.

He is a very lucky person that is why he has won a huge amount of money, he is using this money properly. I have not played the lottery yet but I have played many jackpots but could not win.
But I will definitely try to play the lottery, since many people have found this lottery very good. But I am definitely ready to play this lottery last week, and I want to test my luck by playing the lottery.

Congratulations for him and I wish he will get success with that money. It is rare to see someone can be a very lucky and very responsible person like that. Most people will just spend the win money without think about their future.

But that man doing the right thing for his future and plan many things to earn more money. That is what I will do if I win the lotto tickets.

But I will continue buying the lotto tickets because I can have fun and also have a chance to win for the third time Grin

It seems buying the lotto tickets will be my new habits Grin

Good for him, and for sure lady luck smile on him not only once. As opposed to those who won one time with bigger lottery prize but ended up losing everything after the windfall,

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/23-lottery-winners-lost-millions-220024754.html

So investing so that he can build a generational wealth for hid kids and grand kids.

For sure I will still try my luck and buy lottery tickets no question about it.

I think so if I already won huge amount the first time which means buying few tickets will not gonna hurt at all to test my luck again which is proven correct decision on his case since he won the 2nd time.

This is the beauty of lottery since you only spend less with a great potential to won massive amount if you get lucky. It’s very hard to get addicted too since there’s only limited draw per day which is impossible for you to bet in massive sum.

Why not? Lotto tickets are very affordable, and I’ve won millions from the lottery, so it’s perfectly fine to keep betting. This guy who won twice is lucky, but he’s also smart for diversifying his funds. I’ve seen winners who blow their money on lavish things and still end up poor in the end. It really makes a difference if you’re not just lucky but also skilled in managing your finances. That combination of luck and financial wisdom can truly turn a life-changing win into lasting success.

OH, I definitely would. Not to the point that the amount of money I'd spend seem to be insane, but seeing as how I won twice, I wouldn't doubt my luck with it lol. Not to mention that it's a $5M after that $1M, which is basically money that can be used freely imo since he's already built a base with the initial money. The overseas trip seems warranted really with that amount of money already so I'll give him that xd.

Sadly I ain't him lol. I rarely buy lottery tickets now but it was a staple for me back then. Highly doubt I'd return again but hey, maybe a few tickets for this Christmas might make me lucky Wink

That's a huge win and very lucky. I'm actually betting on lotto but until now no luck.

If I were him why would I keep buying lotto ticket if I already won a huge amount.
The win amount should invest in business if he wants to make more profit. His idea is also good but business is the best to sustain your needs.

Congrats to him if it is true. There are people but very few people that can have this kind of luck.

If you were in his shoes, would you continue buying the lotto tickets ?
If the man can win lottery two times, that means he will continue to buy ticket even if he use the money to establish a very good business. If I win $5 million lottery, I do not think I can buy lottery ticket any longer.
