Just look at this video which came to my mind after reading the word twice because he is the perfect example of it, he won a lump sum in scratch card and channel asked him to recreate the scenario for the interview and while filming he won 250K again which is what we see in the video.

If you were in his shoes, would you continue buying the lotto tickets ?
Buying lotto tickets was the reason for winning , so I don't think to continue buying lotto card will be a bad idea after winning a huge amount of money like this. One just needs to be very careful after a huge win like this never to be very desperate to think winning is always easy to play games with amount of money that they can't afford to lose because some gamblers always forget how gamble is unpredictable after winning, they don't mind spending so much money trying to get a bigger win.

Lotto or lottery tickets take an insignificant part of a gambler's income, hence there is no need to stop buying them and trying luck. Who knows he might end up winning big again since he has been lucky before. But some people might be greedy and spend most of the money buying bulk lottery tickets with the intention of winning big by all means. If I were in the position of this person that the OP mentioned, I would maximize my win effectively but some amount would be set aside for the lottery because it was my means of getting rich.
It was never been an income and it would be never be. It is really just that part of leisure for someone to at least buying up some lottery tickets on which it isnt really that bad to buy up something because this will really be that at least easing out the boredom that you are currently feeling on. There are times on which we are really that somewhat boost up into our mind on winning up the jackpot prize on which this could really be causing up some probabilities that you might be able to experience up that kind of positivity in towards on winning but due to that almost impossible odds or chance of winning then it comes into the point that you will be getting numb and wont be expecting anymore with those winnings. There are really that those people who are really that extremely lucky that able to win up lotteries on multiple times.

Winning up lotteries isnt really that too simple for you to be able to have but surprisingly there are indeed those who do able to hit up not only once but twice. Making up some decisions on how to make use of that prize money is something that will be basing up in accordance into their intellect whether they are thinking up for the future or they are just wanting that temporal pleasure and ending up on becoming poor again and this is where they will be having those regrets because they havent been able to use those winnings wisely.

Why not? The more that I’ll be hooked with buying lottery tickets knowing luck would still be with me in the future,  although there’s no such guarantees but there’s no harm in trying. Those who haven’t win even once won’t even stop from betting, which means there’s no reason to stop myself from betting in lottery as well.

However, they say the longer you stay betting, the bigger the losses you will gain. But this does not apply to me since I have already won twice, if I’m on the shoes of the man in the story. But I would still stick betting on the amount I can afford to lose.

Sounds like he learned his lesson after blowing his money on a nice home and car the first time.  I'm guessing he was probably stressed out with the taxes and having another $5,000,000 win to be able to invest was probably a dream come true for him that allowed him to keep his home and lifestyle going forever.  I'd better not hear about him buying a new $4,000,000 house this time around.  If he sticks to his plan he may just end up as one of the lotto winners that doesn't go bankrupt.

The strange thing is he got lucky second time also. There are not many gamblers who won huge money twice in there life. If one is lucky to win such huge money in lottery then he must utilise it for having a better future life. There is no harm in buying new house (if you don't have already) but buying an expensive villa with sea view that takes all your money is just a waste. Try not to be in list of lotto winners that go bankrupt since there are lot of such cases. I think it's easy money that's why not many handle this money with caution.

Congrats to him if it is true. There are people but very few people that can have this kind of luck.

If you were in his shoes, would you continue buying the lotto tickets ?
If the man can win lottery two times, that means he will continue to buy ticket even if he use the money to establish a very good business. If I win $5 million lottery, I do not think I can buy lottery ticket any longer.

In our country, there are many lottery jackpot winners who continue to bet on the lotto, and they have even become more generous in betting on the lotto, most of the winners actually. But there are some lottery winners who have stopped and just focused on the businesses they founded.

And there are others who have become careless and have also returned to the difficult situation of life because they have not been able to use and invest their winnings correctly, because they thought they would still win the lotto jackpot prize again, which to me seems like they have become too greedy.

Good question and this is really good question hahaha.

If I won jackpot lets say 1 million usd on a single night then I would quit gambling for good. Im not going to buy lotto ticket every again, well maybe Im still play gamble just for fun and use little amount of money and nothing serious about it.

That person cash out their winning buy some real estate car and invest in stock bond and other is a good move in my opinion.

Well, we can only speculate because you can imagine what kind of mindset a person has if the first things they think about are a house and a car after winning such a huge amount. A sensible person would think of establishing a business or a source of income that can generate money for them instead of buying things for luxury or even to have a lot of comfort. You can manage in a rented house while running a business with the money and if you have been commuting without a car before, you can still do it.

Finance management skills play a big role in such things. A person winning huge amounts twice can still go bankrupt after some time if they don't know how they should manage the finances and divide it in a way that would help him have a better present and an even better future for himself and his family.

After all it doesn't take a lot of money to buy lottery tickets because I see this can be done in smaller amounts. The previous big win will definitely not stop people from buying it again because they have the money to continue but we can never be sure that we will get a big win like before. Greed can sometimes have a bad effect, therefore it is better to make a special portion in buying because even if we don't get a big win like before, it can be much easier to handle responsibly.
Then they can buy many tickets without spending a lot of money. That is why people still buying lottery tickets because they can have many tickets and hopes that they can wins from one of their tickets. And when they win, they will tempting to still buying the lottery tickets because they have the experienced of winning before so they wants to win for more.

We can admitted that he is lucky person that can win in the lottery for two times and it is rare to happen to many people. And now, with a lot of money that he have, he can buy many things he wants and prepare for having a better life.

I'm copying this interesting story as it is:
A Calgary man just won $5M in the Oct. 9 Lotto 6/49 Classic draw— three years after bagging $1M in 2021. After buying a house and car last time, he’s now planning to invest in real estate, stocks, and bonds. He’s also eyeing a trip overseas to visit family.
If someone is lucky, he will win big. Not only from Lotto, but any game based on luck can win big. For those who win big from gambling or lottery, the lifestyle changes. They can own cars, houses and a lot of property in a short time, which is very difficult to get in general ways, for some it is impossible. If someone gets 5 million, if he can use that money properly, he can create more wealth from that money. Obviously such a win inspires gamblers. Even if gamblers do not win, they gamble with a hope. I do not always participate in such bets because I know that if luck is not very good, then it is not possible to win in any way. Those who have enough money in terms of investment are the ones who get the advantage in investing. For those who win big bets or win big through the lottery, it is not difficult to do stock or real estate Business.

When it comes on hitting up some lottery then this is really that only a once in a lifetime kind of opportunity or chance to happen on a certain individual or wont really be happening at all on which everything will really be basing up into someones extreme luck on which we know that we cant be able to tell on when it would happen to use. For having these kind of winning amounts then the usage will be basing up into a certain individual whether they will be buying up assets and liabilities. To those people who are really that focusing that much about liabilities then surely this one wont really be lasting up long and if you do all focus on buying something that not brings income then you will be getting poor again or into the situation on where you are before. To those who are really that focusing into buying some assets then this is something which will really be that very worth for the money that you have won. People wont be able to realize their mistakes until the time that they do experience out bad situations or conditions on which we know that this is really that very common.

How about this man do able to win up Lottery 9x?
Massachusetts man plays same lottery numbers 9 times -- and wins
Source

Numbers are basing up with maths but if we do base up on the odds and chances on hitting up the lottery then it is really that close to impossible
not unless if you do buy up all possible number combinations.

Emphatically Yes! I don't know what he can possibly lose anymore that will pain him. This is also a very wise man who did not use the proceeds of the betting to lead a useless and expensive lifestyle or waste everything on gambling but invested to seal his financial freedom and secure his future.

Now, if he didn't play the lottery again after what he won in 2021, would he win big again? Not to mention that the money to play lorries is very little than the money he has already gained from it.

Fate seems to have smiled generously on this man, as winning the lottery is a rare and exciting event, and the probability of someone winning significant prizes on two separate occasions is statistically impressive.

Indeed, luck played a significant role in this individual's life, and I'm sure that the first win encouraged him to continue gambling, perhaps even more than before he won the first time, and with that his chances of winning again increased significantly. However, it is also admirable to note his sense of responsibility in making prudent choices after the first win by investing in tangible assets such as a house and a car. Now, with the second win, the plans to further diversify his wealth by investing in real estate, stocks and bonds, demonstrates a mature and long-term financial approach.

Here's a lesson for all of us... what would you do if you won a lot of money gambling? Would you invest in something more solid and safe, or would you continue gambling and risk losing everything?

Thats right. You know what they say - I won big once before, so I can totally do it again.  Thats not really a strategy though, its more like wishful thinking and  people get luck and skill mixed up when it comes to gambling.  And that confusion keeps folks hooked in, chasing after that initial rush of winning while ignoring all the losses piling up over time.  They convince themselves they got it under control, that they are different, that they will stop when they hit some make-believe jackpot number.

But the truth is, the house always comes out on top eventually.  And if you are sitting there setting targets for gambling wins you are already heading down the losing path, whether it costs you money, relationships, time or everything combined.  The only real way to win at gambling is to keep it casual or not get involved in the first place.

Are you really sure? If this thread was created after the guy won only the first jackpot would you have said the same “my goal has been met”?
Like I said in my previous response, we tend to have different responses and how we actually behave when something eventually happens to us - at first there’s a strong belief in you that you’ll never do something’s as soon as you achieve something but after you finally achieve that thing you tend to change your mind and see things with a different perspective.
Yes that's true sometimes it's easy to put things that we may do after a couple of things out theoretically and in reality chances and decisions can switch very quickly and differently. I think this is pretty much the reason I don't fancy the concept of having a gambling target because for most gamblers it's either they fall into addiction sometimes and some other times they end up going back to gamble heavily even after reaching the point they had in mind initially.

The concept sometimes is that they are like what gave me that huge amount of money should be able to give me a second time but sometimes it doesn't turn out well as they may fall short of luck on their second attempt unlike the first where they were lucky.

Hard to say if he's responsible. To say that you do something is one thing, to do it is another. I might tell you now that if I had a million, I'd be responsible with it and invest, and them blow it on hookers and coke. We'll see if he's really smart in 2 years.

Yes I would. Statistically, I should quit, because the chances of him winning 3 times are close to none, but they were low the second time and yet he won, so maybe there's a higher power watching him?
Since he won 5m, he could spend $1k on tickets each year and it wouldn't make a dent in his savings, while still giving him a chance to become some kind of record holder with 3 wins.
