Talk about getting rich quick twice
That's some damn luck! Almost like getting struck by lightning twice in the same place.

A very lucky and very responsible person.
It is impossible not to agree with the luck of this person, but what does responsibility have to do with it?

If you were in his shoes, would you continue buying the lotto tickets ?
To lose all his winnings? No way! If he was lucky twice, he certainly won't become a millionaire the 3rd time.

All gamblers fall into this trap: having won once, it seems as if only a series of wins awaits in the future.

Wow, he's really lucky! Winning a $5 million lottery is a life-changing event. What's even more impressive is that he took a wise step by making investments to generate returns. This way, he can plan his budget properly, segmenting his money for investments, vacations, and other expenses.

It's great that he's not using all his winnings to play the lottery again, which is a common mistake people make. Instead, he's being strategic with his investments. Of course, there's no guarantee he'll win again, but it's not bad to try his luck once more.

After budgeting his finances and using spare cash, I'd say it's worth taking another shot. Who knows, maybe his luck streak will continue!

I would buy lottery tickets regularly. I like reading such stories because they motivate people to participate in lotteries. Some lotteries are held for charity when part of the money is given to the winner, and the rest is spent on helping those in need. Upon witnessing such tales of fortune and triumph, individuals are encouraged to take a chance and reap double benefits. Someone will help, which is important for society, and someone will also win, receiving a prize. You don’t always need to think about the material side, or experiencing selfish feelings; I think the win will always go to the one who sincerely participates and does not envy, in the case when someone else wins.

If you like that regularity thing, then why not buy $5 worth BTC every day or spend lottery ticket cost on a Bitcoin. I have also read stories when people regularly buy lottery tickets and even select same number for years, and finally win a jackpot. Even though such strategy is real and each purchased lottery ticket makes people one tiny step close to jackpot, it might turn that one life wont be enough to finally await when statistically a person wins.

What interest me more is his ability to stay focused and responsible by judiciously distributing those monies won into different profitable investments that can bring him ROI in the future. About him stopping from buying more lottery tickets after this second win, I doubt he would want to do that after getting this second huge win, nevertheless, he just need not to let it get into his head.

I believe that guy must have tested money before winning this amount because it is only someone who has experienced money before that can have such sense of investment that he has because an average gambler wouldn't want to do a better investment since they will always think of gambling with more more hoping to be lucky again.
I wouldn't support him to stop buying more lottery tickets either because he may be in his lucky years and he can hit them again and again and again who knows, big congratulations to him and I wish him more lucky wins.

If I wanted to have that kind of luck, or a little bit, what happened to that person is a blessing because not everyone has that kind of luck, and if he did it like that I will continue playing for life, because that is the good luck that one has, if he has already won twice he may win again, the statistics support that kind of events.

Yes, and I became rich like him, I would buy my house, many say that houses are a liability, but there is nothing like having your own roof where nobody tells you anything or charges you rent, and having good health to be able to enjoy.

Congrats to him if it is true. There are people but very few people that can have this kind of luck.

If you were in his shoes, would you continue buying the lotto tickets ?
If the man can win lottery two times, that means he will continue to buy ticket even if he use the money to establish a very good business. If I win $5 million lottery, I do not think I can buy lottery ticket any longer.

The news seems correct, there are different sites narrating this lucky guy story. I found it on Yahoo News Canada.
Osman Adam of Calgary has win 1 Million in 2021 and now he has won 5 Million in Oct 2024. Lottery tickets are not expensive for Osman Adam compared to reward he won. As he has won twice in the past he might continue buying tickets to try his luck in future. Apart from that since he has millions in his account, he must invest them wisely to generate passive income. There is an Indian man who won 50 million Indian Rupee worth of money in a game contest, got addicted to alcohol and went bankrupt.

What a jaw dropping win, congratulations to him on that double luck. This is rare and shows how extremely lucky he is because there are other persons like him who would have been buy same lotto tickets but haven't met their luck for a one time win ever how much more twice.

What interest me more is his ability to stay focused and responsible by judiciously distributing those monies won into different profitable investments that can bring him ROI in the future. For real men! I have a lot of uncle and gramps that keep betting on lottery even the small time lottery that is illegal in my country even though they are not winning anything. I think they can already build their own house if they just save all their bets ever since they start betting on lottery.

It’s very hard to stop a lottery fan once they are already hooked since the reward is massive while the amount of bets they are spending on a single ticket is just small and manageable with their salary.

I do place bet on lottery whenever the jackpot price is already 9 digit just to test my luck.

You can’t take that away from them.. it’s like their version of comfort food. Saying “What if I hadn’t spent money on lottery tickets?” is like wondering how much you could save if you stopped eating. Life’s meant to be enjoyed, and for many older people, the lottery offers that spark of hope that their lives could change overnight. As long as they’re betting a reasonable amount, maybe less than a dollar a day, there’s really no harm in it. It’s far better than becoming a compulsive gambler.

For some, playing the lottery becomes a part of their daily routine, a small ritual that inspires them. They place their bets, go about their day, and later enjoy the moment of checking results on TV. If they win, great; if not, the routine continues.

That’s what I’m actually thinking since I didn’t bother making any comments on their life choices when it comes to gambling especially lottery events though they sometimes borrow money to my parents in an event that their salary is not enough for their monthly bills.

Nevertheless it’s very hard to change someone that already used to do what they believe is right by simply just clinging on the possibility of winning huge amount one day to make their life change in an instant which of course super rare to happened.

If I was lucky enough to win the lottery I wouldn't keep buying lottery tickets because I don't believe I would get that lucky twice. The number of people who buy lottery tickets is very large and a ticket has many numbers, so getting that number right is a big stroke of luck. I wouldn't keep buying tickets while I was lucky enough to win once. I would be more focused on using the money I won to do business in the real world.

Good to read that he already know on where he will put his money.

But until there's no action made everything will be just a plan.
Well he already bought a house a car so you know he is a man of his word because he has already done something with his first winnings.
Quote
He take priority their travel and to bad for that guy is he enjoy this money wasting activity since provably that there would be no return to get with that and they are just wasting their money for not useful things.
Is traveling to see family and enjoy life not important? It seems like he has already done a lot and not that struggling anymore so why should he not enjoy the joys of life and share it to his family? We should also enjoy life from time to time we only live once and our lives are short and unpredictable

I'm already satisfied with my luck, and I will just concentrate on creating residual income by creating my portfolio or set up business that I can manage for profit. The lottery is very hard to win and you have to be extremely lucky to hit it twice so I will not hope that it will hit again, but I will continue to buy tickets just for the fun of it, especially here in our country, where a portion of the profit will go to the health sector of our country.

It never crossed my mind to be able to get that much money from gambling, considering the chances of winning from this type of gambling are quite difficult, I can even say the chances of winning are only 0.000001%. This is a type of gambling that relies entirely on luck, and I never expected how often he bought lottery tickets to place his lucky numbers.

and I was interested in buying lottery tickets, but this is the most boring type of gambling, so I didn't last long to play this artistic gambling. and if I keep buying lottery tickets, will I get that luck? I guess This is a mystery, because someone will never know when their luck will come, and if I knew maybe I would keep buying lottery tickets.

What a rare fortune, he became one of the luckiest people among thousands or even millions of people who play lottery. Because this is the most difficult type of gambling to win, the chances of winning are very small.

I have participated in this type of gambling, but the results were zero, I never won even once. And if I were in that person's position, maybe I would do the same thing, which is to use the money to increase the investment I have and build a business. This is the best way so that the money we have is not used again for gambling.

That is right. According to behavioral science if there is a positive reward when a behavior is exhibited, it will be repeated again and again. However in the case of this man, I don't know if he does it methodically (every two years) or if he buys the lottery ticket at random. If I win a $5 million lottery, I will buy the lottery again to try my luck, I won't be able to resist the temptation at all to try again hoping that I may be lucky again.

I'm copying this interesting story as it is:
A Calgary man just won $5M in the Oct. 9 Lotto 6/49 Classic draw— three years after bagging $1M in 2021. After buying a house and car last time, he’s now planning to invest in real estate, stocks, and bonds. He’s also eyeing a trip overseas to visit family.

Talk about getting rich quick twice

As seen on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/savetoinvest/p/DD4cD-fiTj0/

Mathematically, of course, this is almost impossible. To find out the chance of such a win for the same person, we must multiply the percentage chance of the first win by the chance of winning the second win. The most reasonable thing would be to assume that all this is some kind of tricky Lotto promotion. But this is unlikely. Most likely, this is just such a strange coincidence, which, nevertheless, we can observe with our own eyes. Well, as far as I know, such people like to squander money, and do not know how to invest it wisely. Well, I wish this guy luck, although he does not have enough.

I commend him for thinking properly in order of priority. Buying a car, house and now investment. Such a responsible gambler who also remembers his family.

Talk about getting rich quick twice

He is lucky and has a good plan to grow his money. Some other gamblers would believe the winning must come and they would lavish the money they have not knowing that a bird at hand is worth more than million in the bush.

A very lucky and very responsible person.

I believe lesson should be learnt from him with his investment plans. He initially bought a car and house and now going into real estate and stock buying. He definitely knows what he is doing and should be emulated.

If you were in his shoes, would you continue buying the lotto tickets ?

Why not? If you have found a way to have winning that you can take care of your bills and establish a business, then you just have to continue taping from it. He has won a reasonable amount twice, I don't think he would stop going for the ticket.

Hitting two lottery jackpots in a short period of time is such a rare story. This is extreme luck. he is a wise winner; investing in his future after winning the lottery the first time is a great idea, He should continue buying lottery tickets but not to the point that he will spend thousands of dollars on tickets; he should just concentrate on on his investment; he is already rich and just buy ticket for good times and let fate decide if he still deserves to hit the jackpot for the third times.

The lucky person who wins a large amount of gambling can be said to be only 1% of 100% of people in the world the world so he is one of the lucky people because he can change his life in an instant and he also uses the winnings very wisely prioritizing primary needs and investing so that his winnings are not in vain if I were him I would not want to gamble anymore because he has fulfilled what he wants.

This guy's a lucky guy. I'm really glad someone is lucky enough to win the lottery repeatedly. I've been buying lottery tickets for several years, but have never been able to win anything significant. Sometimes the winnings covered the purchase of several dozens of lottery tickets, but I have never been able to buy a car with the money I won. And such results not only for me but also for my friends.

If I were in this guy's shoes, I would probably continue playing. Who knows, maybe he will be lucky the third time.

Why not. The probability of getting winning ticket at new run remains the same as in his previous attempts and it doesn't depends on whether he won at previous times because all relevant events are independent. Thus he may proceed  in buying tickets with an eye for  Porsche 918 Spyder car.
