Maybe you should some kind of minimal disclaimer warning on website bottom, in addition to TOS page.
Something like Use only on Bitcointalk forum or Bitcointalk only allowed use or Bitcointalk only.

But this information is already in the TOS. Note point two:

Your images dont load correctly for me also.
First I see multiple images start loading and then they are gone and only one is left like this (and I don't use any adblockers on Bitcointalk forum):

I think this situation has already been resolved with the help of theymos.
But I will continue to monitoring the situation.

Do we really need to click Agree with terms each time we open a website?
Plese give us some version that skips this that can work with Tor browser.

I will look into this situation.  Wink

Here is the precious reply of Imgur.

All you have done is link to your own post in another thread which links back to this thread.

Are you trying to gain merits from this?

@joker_josue

Have fixed up the colour in this link:

Can you, @LoyceV or @tryninja or anyone program a script that allow each user to download all the images of each posts on a directory? So that thoseximages are not lost and can be later re-uploaded?
I am not a coder or developer, but other guys you mentioned are welcome to try and fix this.

That's why I say: this service is only to be used on the BitcoinTalk forum. Avoid using it in other places, there is a risk that it will not work or stop working in those places in the future.

I used talkimg on a post of mine, but the image fails to show up properly. I can see it loading, but it then disappears.

Hi @joker_josue,
I am wearing the signature campaign for publishing your recently launched helpful tools named TalkImg.com. Also recently updated my previous post. You can see that link here: TalkImg.Com

Hi @joker_josue,
Here I give advice to use your website which is the most helpful tool for BitcoinTalk.org users. TalkImg.com will be more than beneficial to all Bitcointalk.org users.

Here is the precious reply of Imgur.

You just select more images when uploading, as simple as that. You can do the same thing with other tools (imgur, postimages) as well.

This is how it looks like on your tool. As you can see, area below is not really big so its not easy to c/p specific link. It would be much better if area is bigger and there is one empty row between links.

It was just to confirm, how a configuration that I'm using was working. Thanks.
This is because I have configured only 1 Upload threads to use the service. And then in browsers that do this individually, they don't accept this type of loading. I'll increase it to 2 so more people can use it.

Regarding the field of links, you can increase. Just use open field here:

They were all in the same folder!? Strange, it is rarely organized like this.
Is this link where you are taking it from, or was it the link being used in the posts?
I guess they're not really in the same directory at imgur's server. It must be a database entry to the actual location, so they can keep the URL as short as possible.
The link I posted is how users post it on Bitcointalk.

Can you send more than one image at the same time?  Huh
How are you guys doing this?

🇺🇦 Glory to Ukraine!
@joker_josue, while I was fixing some of my old posts that had missing images, I had an idea. Is it possible to enable the "add image URLs" option, like the one available on ImgBB service? This would make it easier for users who want to migrate their images from Imgur to TalkImg.com on their own, since the images are still available there, but not displayed on the forum.

Uploading multiple images in a row is easy! Simply drag and drop all the images at once or use the "browse from your PC" function to select multiple images in one go. Plus, you'll be able to copy-paste all the BBcode in a single step, making the process even more efficient. Hope that helps!
Cheers, for whatever reason I thought that I can't that with TalkImg.

I just checked it and it works as you said, but the area where links are is kinda small and cramped up and for whatever reason I can't easily copy/paste separate links without accidently copying few or more often all of them.

EDIT:
While I was writing this post, your images started to appear!!! I did nothing! How strange is that!!!

Now I see them as well, I see all the images, even on my original posts (I am going to delete the duplicated one quickly, so don’t worry if you still don’t see it doubled as well.

This is very good development. Since this TalkImg.com is directly connected to bitcointalk only, it is better because imgur website this days is malfunctioning, there are sometimes you tried to upload image but with would not uploaded. The site just misbehave any how. Before this image disappearance issue, the site was not working perfectly like before.
Though I have not used TalkImg.com to upload image but other users testimonies, I believed the site works perfectly.

These images are straight out of midjourney. Sincerely speaking, I have no time to convert those to other formats before uploading to talkimg.
And I don’t know if it is me only, but I don’t see the image you say you see. I am on safari mobile right now.

You don't see any image here:
What I've been suggesting is to reload the image, as I've done now (as a guest) and it works:

Code:
[img height=250]https://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/13/foxpup555d6923ead2e71cdb7.png[/img]

As I said, I even understand the discomfort of the situation, but I still haven't been able to understand a logical reason for this to happen.
The idea of the size/format of the image could be a case, even so I don't believe it. As long as you download the image and re-upload it it works - without any editing.
I still haven't been able to understand the reason or its origin, if it's related to me or not. Huh

What I noticed in all these cases is that we are talking about PNG images with almost 1MB, which for a PNG is very heavy and is not common. But on the other hand, it doesn't make sense that this happens, because if you upload the image again, it doesn't happen anymore.

So at this moment the suggestion I can give is that when you detect this situation, upload the image again.

Pure curiosity: Do you have any data on how many image uploads and how much data is used already? How many uploads per day on average?

At the end of the month I will present more concrete statistical data. But I can say that we have 1000 images and an average of 230KB per image.

The image size is well below the maximum allowed dimension.

Other users have already warned of the same situation.

I've done several analyzes and I can't find any explanation for this happening.
I think it might be related to the forum images proxy. I have already contacted theymos to verify.

Hey joker_josue, I used your tool yesterday for my local board overview, I liked it and I plan to continue to use it going forward. One question though: is it possible for it to automatically reset every time when I click "Upload", instead having to manually click "Reset" when I want to upload more images in a row?

The image shows up instead with another service.
Is that just me or there is a reason for this?

Disobey.
Just one question, maybe I missed something, but what if people not from Bitcointalk will start to use TalkImg? From what I understood from FAQ post, image simply won't be displayed if I will try to post it on Bitcoin.com forum for example?

I configured the server so that images can only be used on the Bitcointalk forum. But Hotlink protection is never 100% guaranteed, and eventually in some cases it may be possible to post elsewhere.

Now, the disclaimer is clear: it's only meant to work on Bitcointalk. I am not responsible if they use the images on other sites, and from one moment to the next they stop working. I'm constantly making adjustments to the server, and this can lead to some parameters changing and something that previously worked outside of this forum, no longer works.

That's why I say: this service is only to be used on the BitcoinTalk forum. Avoid using it in other places, there is a risk that it will not work or stop working in those places in the future.

EDIT: I am not saying that this rule cannot change in the future, but for now this is the objective of the service. I prefer to keep this objective, because that way I know I can guarantee the best possible service. But in the future it might change.

Pretty amazing that this is possible.

Big shout-out from my side for this super cool and needed project. Just the right time when imgur seems to have gone down completely.
Sent you a quick pm to maybe help out a little with translation.
