Hello,
Can someone tell me why I have a loss of hash up to 0 on my 2nd card in pci-e 2.0 or 3.0?
Thank you

ubuntu 16.04 with ROCm 1.8 have a same problème with amdgpu-pro
Card : RX580 x2

Change the riser. Most of the time the problem is with the riser or the power cable.

Has anyone tried this it is suppose to reduce power consumption. Didn’t know if any of you would have luck with it. I tired the first suggestion without luck and was going to see if the second suggestion maybe worked by the doctor aka tekcomm.

I had so many problems with ubuntu 16.03 and 16.04... quick fix would be to grab ETHOS copy and make custom script to load tdxminer... easy as to do.

I used CentOs. The most important to choose the best Linux option.

I don't like using linux.

You don't have to "use" it like in everyday use -- just install it, set it and forget it  Cool

looks like dev abandoned ship...

I hope not because this miner has a grate potential. There are some tweaks to be done but, as far as I know, it is the best AMD miner available.

mining specific coin instead of mining the algorithm on nicehash for example is far away from calculator results
i mined criptoreal for 24 hours

calculators say above 400 CRS i will mine
but on hashpool.eu i just mined 211 CRS

The hashrate and difficulty of a low cap coin can vary drastically and the calculators give an assumption of the earnings based on current hashrate which is never the case when mining.

This is not the case with Gincoin, Crypt0zone simply completely overestimates the earnings. Consistently around 30%.
You can take what they predict and minus 30% from it and then take into account fluctuations due to global hashrate.

The earnings are starting to even out but I also agree everyone wants shit easy once a windows version comes out or it's implemented in hiveos or smos profits will tank

minerstat CEO
We would like to add your miner to minerstat - https://minerstat.com

Can you make a simple basic api with hashrate, pool, accepted/rejected shares and uptime output?
JSON - HTTP or (TCP) is good as well.

Thank you in advance, if you consider it feel free to send a Private message.

I noticed that some pools with high hash rate is doing something like an attack.
When difficulty is low, they push max hash rate until block is found and the atacker earn most part of block reward and he left the pool for a while until difficulty decreases. So i noticed that sometime the pool has huge hash rate like 3gh/s~7gh/s at gincoin for example and when block is found and diff increase it has only 150mh/s. It is like a cheat.
So, tiny poor guys like me with my 8x RX570 cant earn shit.

I was mining at zergpool and my reward after 24h mining at 22mh/s was 0.30gin instead 1.00.
But there are other pools that has same attack.

So the best for most users will be the pool that has a stable hash rate.
I was mining good at pickaxe.pro or gos.cx, it has low rash rate but it is stable, but you need to be patient because some days block is not found, but another day can found 2 or 3 blocks. After a week my average earns was higher than the calcs and much times higher than the attacked pools.

I agree. But the increasing pools are attacked by poolhopers. And for example minecore.pro doesn't return my GIN. Therefore I look for another.

Like i said, just try to mine GIN https://www.gos.cx and be patient, last 24h we found 4 blocks and i got 1,45 GIN with 22mh/s.
I think it is better than bigger pools that you mine and get nothing because the cheat of theses pool hoppers.

Anyway the altcoins is very low now, im getting about 50% less btc than some weeks ago.

Yeah i will try to mine GIN on this pool, and i hope this pool give me a better luck than others pool.

Installing Ubuntu and ROCm is a pain, but I managed it somehow. But unfortunaly ROCm only seems to accept VEGA 64 cards connected to the bigger PCIe slots, not the smaller slots. Is there any way to use all 6-8 slots on the mainboard, not just the 3 or 4 big slots? If yes, how?
