So, my Stuttgart prediction worked and there will be a Tiafoe v Struff final. Against all odds, I think Struff is going to win the title. I won't be betting on this match though, it should be pretty close and it's a risky bet.

Great performance from Struff so far this year. In Madrid he was surprisingly in the final and had a good performance against Alcarez. And also in this tournament in Stuttgart he came back many times and deserved to reach the final. I also think it will be a close match against Tiafoe.

In addition to the Boss Open, there is the Libema Open, where here Jannick Sinner lost to Emil Ruusuvuori in two sets in the quarterfinals, it's quite surprising that he lost quite easily and of the four players who were in the semi-finals, Emil Ruusuvuori is the only seed who is still holding out and will be the most favorite for the won this tournament because the other seeds had already been eliminated like Medvedev and several other seeds.

Boss Open, Struff vs Hurkacz, I think this will be a semifinal match that will be filled with aces, like Struff when he beat Gasquet who used his serve as capital to gain lots of points as well as Hurkacz, the match can last 3 sets but with a fast time because there won't be many long rallies occurred in this match.

Semifinals tomorrow in Stuttgart:

Hurkacz v Struff
Tiafoe v Fucsovics

My bets marked in bold. Struff is extremely strong on home soil, grass also suits his playing style very well. H2H is 1:0 Struff but note they met last time back in 2016(!) on clay. Tiafoe is my choice for the second semi. Happy betting guys!

They seem like realistic bets and really its looking good for Tiafoe being the highest
seeded player left among the 4, but this really is a very unexpected semi final lineup.

Tiafoe is probably the strongest of them if he can focus enough.

In the Nottingham Challenger Andy Murray have slowly progressed and reached the Quarter finals. In the quarter finals match Andy Murray is in lead position winning the first set against Stricker 77-62, now again he have won the second set 7-5.

He's one among the legend who is fighting hard amidst his age and injuries. With this win he had his consecutive eight win in grass.

Andy is going well and into the Semi Finals to play Borges. Its interesting that at the
Challenger level Andy is being successful, with results like this he will definitely be
confident in extending his career.

Andy Murray looks really good on grass and is slowly improving . It looks like he will win his second tournament in a row after a really long time. For me only thing that is worring is his serve. You need to have a lot of aces on grass and still has a small number of aces but continues to win.

On Thursday Tsitsipas is scheduled to play Gasquet, looking at the stats on results on court
surfaces, Gasquet seems to have a better win/loss ratio on Grass, I wonder is a bet on Gasquet
worth the 3.95 odds he has?
Gasquet beat Tsitsipas in three sets, did not watch the match and only got to see the live scorer of the first set where Tstasipas was already 3-0  but Gasquet managed to make this set go through a tiebreak and he take the first set, and the third set was decisive for this old player to determine the outcome for him. Congratulations on the profit if you end up betting on Gasquest.
Facing Struff in the quarter-finals Gasquet is still not a favorite but this time the odds are even lower at just 2.80, so Gasquet still has a chance to win and be in the semi-finals.
Yeah, the French veteran keeps surprising me. I mean he's 36yo never was too good physically, he's just 183cm(6.0), one-handed backhand and with that funny buttcap flare on his racket. All of a sudden, he wins a TOP10 player, much younger and more athletic than himself. Perhaps he's going to retire soon and tried to do it with a bang? Anyway, my bet is on Struff.

Of course, the wind was very surprising for everyone. I don’t think anybody actually thought that he was going to win that match. I know a lot of people lost a lot of money because of that result  Grin. After the second set, I thought Tsitsipas was going to win the match. But it was a great performance from Gasquet.

The kind of performance, which he had shown in the last match. It is actually hard to say that he is going to lose the next match. As I said, nobody expected him to win against Tsitsipas in the first place.

I love Gasquet, he is one of my favorite players and still has one of the most beautiful backhands in the history of tennis.
I plan to watch him again against Struff today - especially because I feel that Struff @1.45 has great value.

I like the odds on Hurkacz as well - I'll probably combine them on my high stake ticket.

it seems that the new girlfriend didn't bring luck to Tsitsipas Roll Eyes that has lost today in 3 sets against Gasquet.
He gave to me the impression of being tired like at the end of a tournament Roll Eyes , in short, not the Greek we know, but "green" probably isn't his favorite surface....
When Tsitsipas lost first set I was feeling this could be good, and he will fight back with bang which happen in second set, and he won by score of 6 - 2 this give good encouragement but in third set Gasquet was again on his way to play amazing game and bring down top ranked player with the score of 7 - 5 which is surely impressive now today we will have few interesting matches which are going to do good stuff for the punters as well.

In Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, we had another big casualty when Medvedev ranked no 1 for this event lost against Mannarino after winning first set now things looking interesting here as well with Raonic also lost and now today we will have Alex Diminuar against Thompson who beats Raonic it's also looking interesting encounter in today fixtures.

If he had won the first set, then the match might've got turned. Tsitsipas made a good comeback in the second set with an easier win. He couldn't do well in the third set which looked like Tsitsipas will win the match. As said he's tired. The first set could've made him so tiresome. Anyhow Gasquet had a good day and hope his win continue against Struff amidst the odds favouring Struff.

What a bad match by Tsitsipas today,he had everything in his hands against Gasquet but just couldnt beat him. He was up a break in the first set and lost it due to some stupid double faults and some bad decisions. Also Gasquet just hit his 600th career win

Yeah, Tsitsipas was disappointing today. Quarterfinal time in Stuttgart:

Lorenzo Musetti
VS
Frances Tiafoe

Marton Fucsovics
VS
Taylor Fritz

Hubert Hurkacz
VS
Christopher O'Connell

Richard Gasquet
VS
Jan-Lennard Struff

I marked the potential winners in bold. Both American guys should be pretty decent on grass because they prefer hard surface which is quite similar to grass.

Ah his focus is not 100% on Tennis ATM - he has other things on his mind !!

I had a feeling that the match could go this way but in the end I chickened of our
betting on Gasquet...but I didnt bet on Tsitsipas either.

Every match with Nick Kyrgios is a great tennis show. He doesn't play very regularly so it's a nice possibility to watch him play, getting ready for the grass season and Wimbledon. It looks like an easy match for the Aussie though.

...so yes he was worth the 3.95 odds. He plays Struff tomorrow who beat Paul
today in 2 sets, I did bet on Paul after questioning his performances this year already
in an earlier post.

Yes, it is very difficult to come back and play again at the top level in tennis after long breaks due to injuries or when it is an older player who is no longer as fast and physically fit as he used to be.
Venus Williams was a top and very successful tennis player who won many important tennis tournaments and can be satisfied with her career.
However, Kyrgios had tremendous talent and if he had the necessary character and work habits he could have been one of the best tennis players in history. Too bad for him.
I am currently following Andy Murray's performance at the Nottingham Open. It is incredible to see his mental strength and will that after so many injuries, even at the age of 36, he is still playing tennis and preparing for Wimbledon. At one time, he was an equal tennis player to the "big three of world tennis" Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, and won 3 GS tournaments and 2 Olympic golds. If injuries had not stopped his tennis career, it is likely that today we would be talking about the "big four" and not the trio of world tennis.
Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/65892767
Injuries were real threat to sportsman. Very few will be strong enough to make a comeback, whereas the majority ends the career. He had played well against De Loore and won the match in direct sets. Next match is against Grenier who can be won by Andy Murray. For now Grenier have won his last match months back in the Challenger against Billy Harris. Now only Djokovic is only player who is talked much. Federer, Nadal and Murray have been remembered as the legends forever.

It is a very hard job to actually make a comeback after a break that he had to take because of injuries. And it is especially hard when he knows that he will be announcing his retirement on his comeback. It is going to be a very emotional time for him for sure.

Andy Murray is going to face Gernier in the round of 16 in Challenger Nottingham. He is currently performing well. He will be able to win the next match I assume and I absolutely agree that he is actually performing way above average, considering the fact that injuries have been causing him problems

Every match with Nick Kyrgios is a great tennis show. He doesn't play very regularly so it's a nice possibility to watch him play, getting ready for the grass season and Wimbledon. It looks like an easy match for the Aussie though.

Yes Kyrgios is a great tennis player, massive talent but I feel his best years are over at this
stage and the fact that he doesnt play a full season and is really only playing grass courts
means he isnt match fit by the time the season starts, he lost today to Wu 5-7, 3-6.

Kyrgios is unfortunately struggling with his mental problems. If he had fought his demons earlier, he would certainly be at a higher level. But we also have to consider that he had not played a match yet this year. The last time was at the end of 2022 and he also missed the French Open because he injured his foot.

He just dosent care. He isnt even fit for playing tennis at the moment. I watched the match he mostly just served good on it and hot tired from just that. You need to train and gain some strength to play tennis . He just plays like he is an amature and once he losses the first set he dosent even care for the match anymore.

Yes Nick has some psychological issues, namely he can't play a lot of tournaments and train regularly. In "Break Point" documentary series by Netflix this fact was mentioned. Nick himself mentioned he can play 7-8 tournaments a year, not more.

Meanwhile in Stuttgart, some really interesting matches are planned for tomorrow:

Karatsev v Fritz
Struff v Paul
Tsitsipas v Gasquet

Thats it, he just doesnt care, I wonder why he even bothers and I wonder why he can get
sponsorship at this stage?

He had a good year last year winning a tournament in washington but I think he played more
last year and even reached the semi final stage last year at Stuttgart.

All the seeds at Stttgart won today, Tiafoe, Hurkacz and Musetti and 3 more play tomorrow,
Paul, Fritz seeded 2 and Tsitsipas seeded 1.

I dont know whether to bet on both Paul and Fritz, Paul isnt IMO having a brilliant season this
year, he played a challenger tournament and got beaten by Murray in the final.
