ATP jumping in on the pun train.

It's not just Peniston, it seems like almost all UK tennis players are destroying everyone they meet on grass at the moment, some very surprising results recently.
...

in fact Grin they showed a skill on this surface at very high levels.
By the way Peniston is in a state of grace. The victory against Rune was a nice pick but was predictable especially after beating Ruud who is a high-level tennis player (and the finalist of this year's RG!).
We will hardly find him in the final, but he is a good player to keep an eye on Wink

@CLS63 if those two end up facing each other then we’ll in for a treat, but I hope that it only happens in the semis or the finals and not earlier. Furthermore that’s a decent promo and I believe that one can safely bet on Djokovic, but anyone here feels that Nadal can win the Wimbledon?, because while I want to see him win I feel that his recent injuries may prevent him from winning.

It is really difficult to know about how Nadal is preparing for Wimbledon now. Everyone was thinking approximately ten days ago that he wouldn't join Wimbledon. But he still pushed the limits somehow to be able to join the tournament. I hope that he completes the tournament without getting injured.

That's an interesting promotion but sadly my country is blocked from playing on sportsbet. Djokovic is the biggest candidate to win the title so if he ends up winning the title, you also earn 7 0.25 mBTC free spins! Minimum to participate is also quite low (around 20$) as BTC price dropped a lot recently.

It is really a very good promotion as you said. It seems quite possible for us to win free spin and money at the same time as of today because Djokovic is the favourite tennis player of this tournament by a big gap now.

Meanwhile Boulter (r.127) is currently a set up against Petra Kvitova (r.31).

Well, Boulter lost, and also Dan Evans just lost 2-0 against a lower-ranked opponent, so maybe ignore me! Cheesy

Seriously though, I do still think it's worth keeping an eye on the British players, who are playing above their level at the moment. The only one I'd definitely steer clear of is Raducanu, who has been very flaky this year - there's probably a decent chance of her retiring injured at some point during Wimbledon.

There is less than a week left for Wimbledon to start. Truth be told, my expectation is not too much from this tournament. I hope that Nadal and the others can prove me wrong by showing a good performance in this tournament. I'm going to make a long-term bet on Hurkacz as a surprise. Besides, I'm thinking of betting at least 1 mbtc on Djokovic to win due to the promotion on Sportsbet.

Draper is the other obvious one on the men's side, but on the women's side, just yesterday Katie Boulter beat Pliskova and Jodie Burrage beat Paula Badosa... two Brits outside the top 100 both beating top 10 players on the same day. It's worth keeping an eye on this phenomenon. Obviously UK players being stronger on grass is a bit of a cliche, but the results keep coming...

Edit: And just in the last 30 minutes, Harriet Dart (rank 103) has beaten Teichmann (rank 23). Meanwhile Boulter (r.127) is currently a set up against Petra Kvitova (r.31).

ATP jumping in on the pun train. Rune is still considered one of the future tennis superstar who's on the rise at 19 years old. Maybe in a couple of years, he would be a potential Grand slam champ. Already a quarter finalist at French Open.

Guys like Draper are grass specialists and their ranking is not a measure of their actual game on this surface.

True, he does look solid on grass, but I think there may be more to him that just that surface. He ran Rublev pretty close in the Madrid masters on clay about a month back, losing in a close third set 6-2 4-6 5-7. He's also only 20, so plenty of time to improve... and he is improving all the time, this time last year he was ranked 250.

Peniston may be a bit different, as he's 26yo.

Draper is up against Schwartzman today, thats going to be a real test for him, Diego is a
real fighter but Grass is his least favourite surface. Draper is favoirite though @1.55 on Rollbit
compared to 2.41 for Diego.

On the Womens side Haddad Maia is playing again after getting past Kanepi yesterday.
She faces Burrage who is unknown to me, I'll keep backing Maia as she seems to be
holding her brilliant form.

Draper could be an interesting tip to follow on Wimbledon
agree that playing on grass is different and probably toughest to have winning strike, since few mistakes could put you on a brink

yeah, with 26 for Peniston, it is hard to expect from him to improve a lot on other surfaces

While the Wimbledon qualifiers are going on so too is the Eastbourne International
tournament. Interestingly Haddad Maia is playing tomorrow, she has 3 grass
titles clocked up so far so is potentially one to watch there, she plays Kanepi tomorrow.

The men are playing there also and there are a lot of familiar names present and
through to play next round.

Norrie1
Sinner2
Fritz3
Schwartzman4
Opelka5
de Minaur6

Also some unfamiliar faces. Jack Draper continues his fine form. He took Taylor Fritz apart quite easily in the last tournament, and at Eastbourne he's beaten Jenson Brooksby 6-2 6-2. Brooksby is ranked #34... Draper meanwhile is ranked #108. Perhaps one to watch at Wimbledon, might be good value for a couple of wins against higher ranked players... depending on the draw, of course.
Haddad is on my tickets today and I expect her to dispatch Kanepi without too much problems.

Guys like Draper are grass specialists and their ranking is not a measure of their actual game on this surface. Peniston is another one and I am expecting him to trouble Rune a lot today, maybe even win. If this was played on clay Rune would win 6:1 6:1 without breaking a sweat.

Wimbeldon qualifications already started and we have seen some unexpected results giles simon lost 2 0 and he was heavily favourite he is way past his prime and we wont see him competing at the high level anymore i think this year will be really competitive andy murray, hurkacz, kyrgios and berretini will not make it easy for djokovic and nadal.
Now after end of Covid-19 era things are changing very drastically because we have too many new faces in tennis and few old generation players are losing their places from now I also check list of qualifier and have too many players are going out from this qualifier because new players are giving perfect performance, and now we can expect some good competition from these guys in this mega event.

Even most chances top ranked players are going to be tough but with this attitude we can expect some good changes in coming years in this all tennis set up with Djokovic is still man to watch here with Medvedev and Tsitsipas is going to be tough challenger for him Zverev is also done good in Roland Garos, but injury has big impact on him.

Jason Jung

Very, very rare Monday live betting for me, and I looked at that ^ a bit late but suppose I dodged the Simon bullet.

Took Jung 2:0 live, this time following your pick exact and had pretty good odds @1.22 Wink But I just had to add in de Jong and Martener MLs for a little bit over 2/1. Just wanted to see if I could take this and have a little something to play for on Brasil footie later.

I checked up on Trofo's tips and Simon is behind, 1 set down and broken in the second....
I have to figure quick whether to back him now @ 5.7....
I wouldn't. Something is wrong with Simon, can't watch the match but you simply don't lose that many serves on grass without reason.

Other 2 picks passed easy and Jung also looks good at the moment. There is always one to spoil the party. Single bets will bring me some profit but that multi bet would be the one for big gains.

...and I didnt, way too dodgy looking.

I have Jung who is looking strong enough.

No doubt there is gains to be made in the qualifiers it just takes some time to research,
time I dont have.

I agree with Kukushkin and Simon, I will be taking these today. I usually don't bet on qualifiers but these look good enough to toss a few mBTC and hope for the best.

Berrettini is looking good, so does Hurkacz. Aliassime and Čilić are my dark horses though.
Ruud, Tsitsipas and Alcaraz are the top seeded players I'll be looking to bet against.

Kukushkin won as Trofo predicted, good stuff!

Yea Berrettini is looking really good, he is in form at the crucial time coming into Wimbledon,
timing is important and he seems to have it right.
