Today only bets on two matches S. Tsitsipas vs F. Tiafoe on under and FAA vs Norrie on over.
At ATP Saint Petersburg M. Cilic vs K. Khachanov, Cilic has lost his touch when he returns to play after a long injury but Khachanov sometimes not consistent with his performance, this match difficult to predict who wins but pick over 20.5 maybe a good choice.

I also have Tsitsipas who is top seed for the win along with Norrie.

Some of the other games look very good especially for the seeded players. I have
bets on the seeded players, I think Swartzman could be the trickiest one though.

Monfils v Swartzman (8.)
Ruud (4) v Sonego
Novak v Sinner (7)
DevMinaur v Zverev (2)

Norrie vs FAA is about to start, I have Norrie at handicap -1.5. Didn't want to bet the totals as this might be tricky. Norrie is playing very hard in here, while FAA is somewhat very inconsistent and seems can't go over the round of 16 as much as he wanted to.

Not yet betting on other games, but I like the chances of Schwartzman against Monfils.

And then Zverev over A de Minaur. So let's see how my first bet goes, if it's a W then I will continue to bet on the other games.

It was a very close match and I thought that it will be easy match for Norrie as he won the first match with the score 6-2.

And then suddenly, FAA flip the switch in the second, as both players hold served. But FAA scored his point very easily sometime he will raised to 40-0 and then score the point. The second set was extended to a tie break in which FAA won.

On the 3rd, he just needed just one break point to sell the victory for him.

TBH I'm a bit surprised he lost, im my mind Felix AA's consistency this year
has been patchy and Norrie has been going well recently.

All of my picks (bar Norrie) have won including Zverev to get past De Minaur
just now even after having the chance to win in 2 sets, his performance fell off
while De Minaur had a great second set. He is very talented but Zverev
proved too much this time.

Tsitsipas up next!

no one player should be bigger than the tournament itself.
There shouldn't be one player who is bigger than the tournament, but unfortunately there is. Nadal and Federer are on the way out. Djokovic is by far the biggest draw in men's tennis, the only superstar left at the top... and there is also his record in Australia to consider, winning it year after year after year. If Djokovic wasn't allowed to compete, then whoever won the title, everyone would be saying that Djokovic would have won if he'd been there... the whole thing would be a joke. So I think their hands are tied really, they have to accommodate him. But to be honest, regardless of what the AO officials want, I'm surprised the government has allowed it.
Personally, I think the issue of public health and safety should be much more important than the personal reputation of an individual player.
In this way, ordinary people who have been locked up in their homes for months because of Covid get the message that the rules don't apply to some people.
What if it turns out that some tennis players are infected and Covid spreads through the country again. Who will be held accountable for that?
Due to public health and safety problems, as far as I remember, even Wimbledon was canceled and here we have a situation where the rules are adjusted because of one man, in a situation when due to Covid Australians were not even allowed to travel abroad or return to their country for almost 2 years.
For me, this is a shameful decision by the state authorities of Australia and in this way they show their citizens that they are less important than one tennis player, Djokovic.

I agree with you. Public health safety should be the top priority of the government. The AO officials can request them to change the rules as they have their reasons for it, but the government should not be taking these kinds of steps only for one man. Yes, this decision is related to a lot of business stuff but again, public health concern comes above everything. Overall, although even after being a Djokovic fan, I'm quite upset at this decision.

@aoluain it seems that Tsitsipas is everyone’s favourite to win today, however I’m going to risk only a small amount on him because of his inconsistency.

Also Norrie looks to be in good form, hence a wise selection however as I have only watched him on couple of occasions I’ll not be wagering on him, but I do feel that he may win this match due to his current form.

I'm just in time to place a wager on the WTA - Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Doubles game:

  • L. Kerkhove/A. Krunic @ 1.50 - Taken Amount: 0.05 mBTC - Possible Payout: 0.08 mBTC

The odds are shorter than for their opponents ( Ignatik/Prisacariu ) - Krunic didn't do too badly in the singles games leading up to this match that's just started.

Well, Murray lost against a player he beat not long ago. There is an increasingly clear pattern in his matches, he can beat almost anyone in the first round, but after he wins a tough match he will struggle in the next round. I think it's clear which way to bet on him, in which circumstances.

Hurkacz's defeat in this tournament will open up Norrie's chances of reaching the ATP Finals

Yes, of course. An early defeat for Hurkacz is the ideal situation for Norrie, as they are fighting each other for the last spot in the ATP Finals. I think Sinner has come back into contention too, but really it's between these three. FAA is too far back, and doesn't have time to make up the points difference.

And Norrie needs to win against FAA next to at least close the gap and maybe he can make the ATP next.

Sinner is number 13, too far to make a difference in points.

Casper Ruud vs Sonego, this is a great match if I'm not mistaken, and could be going into a three sets and with Over in this game.

^ I forget to pull the trigger on the Berrettini vs  Basilashvili as I have been eyeing this match for over totals and it definitely did, going into 3 sets and eventually Berrettini winning it.

FAA vs Norrie, Norrie is the favourite by it is very close, will go on the underdog FAA @2.10, very attractive odds and I think he has a good chance to pull an upset here.

Alex De Minaur vs Zverev - Zverev -4.5 @1.83.

Here I am, hoping that Murray continues his come back and wins another match today. Funny thing I never liked him when he was on the top and now I am cheering for him to come back to the top Smiley

Alcaraz was in great form earlier this season but he dropped off a little lately. He is also very experienced playing indoors so that should be enough for Murray. I even backed him with ML bet today, it was decent @1.6 odds.

Score is tied 2-2 in the first set, no breaks yet. But it has the footprint of another great match specially coming from Murray who has somewhat playing good tennis lately.

If I'm not mistaken, Alcaraz after playing so good earlier this season has suffered some injuries that has cause him to slow down a bit. And probably trying to regain some in his past 2 tournaments. So let's see how it goes.

Berrettini vs  Basilashvili next, I'm thinking of betting on the under here with Berrettini winning in 2 sets.

^^ As I have said previously, the Murray vs Hurkacz will be interesting and that's what really happens as it was on a 3 set win by Murray. It was very intense match the whole game, and no one wanted to lose in this match. And this is Murray's first win for this year against a top 10 so it seems that he is improving although we have doubts that he can win a tournament with his level. He was broken on the 3rd set, but went back and broke Hurkacz on game 2. And then they hold serve until Murray broke him in the sixth game, 4-2. Good match to watch.
Hurkacz's defeat in this tournament will open up Norrie's chances of reaching the ATP Finals if he reaches atleast semifinals at ATP Vienna. Norrie will face the FAA, Norrie is the favorite to win but with a small odds difference so this match will be tight, likely 3 sets.

I watched the last two sets with Raducanu v Hercog, in the second set I thought
she was going to lose it, she wasnt playing great, but in the third she turned up the dial
and performed like the U.S Open champion she is. Well done to her.

Today I have bets on Zverev and Tiafoe in Vienna (so far).

Congrats bro, Zverev and Tiafoe won, I haven't check the odds though. Will take a look later, because it seems that this tournament is very interesting to bet.

Imight put a few more on later,
there are some big names in action, Felix AA, Ruud v Harris, Norrie v Fucsovics,
Tsitsipas v Dimitrov.

FAA, Ruud and Norrie also won in 2 sets.

I might go with Sonego winning over Koepfer (-2.5).

Sinner vs Opelka - Over 22.5

Yea not a bad day yesterday betting wise with Zverev and Tiafoe and also Tsitsipas
against Dimitrov, I thought that would be closer TBH instead of 2 sets.

in todays rounds I have Sinner against Opelka and Swartzman against Fognini,
also Shapovalov against Andujar in st.Petersburg Open and Kontaveit to beat Krunic
in Transylvania open, all favourites so odds are low enough.

The part he struggles most with is playing a lot of games in quick succession. As we move into each new round, it gets harder for him to maintain his top level. Alcaraz next, whom he's beaten recently, but this time it comes on the back of a gruelling match in the previous round. I want Murray to win, but it gets tougher for him.

Also on the women's side, nice to see Emma Raducanu winning last night... unbelievably this is actually her first ever victory at a WTA match (because US Open along with other slams is technically an ITF tournament).
