Thiem give up in the first round in the first set (Mallorca Open), he have a wrist injury (felt pain). Would be the 2nd cancellation for Wimbledon after Nadal. 2 of the TOP 5 would already be missing. It's a shame, Nadal has already canceled the Olympic Games.
Thiem has not cancelled Wimbeldon yet, he is trying to recover in time to play. Would hate if he cancels as well.

It seems like Djokovic will have his draw wide open for another grans slam. Maybe Medvedev can make it interesting. I am expecting Rublev, Humbert and Cilic to do well this year. And of course I did not mention Tsitisipas but I don't remember him playing well on grass. Have to see him perform first.

That's right, he hasn't canceled yet, I hope he'll play too, but with an injury it will be difficult. Unfortunately, he's not in top form in the last few months. Djokovic is my favorite for the next Grand Slam title, but I'm also curious to see how well Federer plays and how far he will get in Wimbledon.

Tsitsipas doesn't play well in grass, so it will be a surprised to see him even in the quarter finals.

But yeah, Djokovic path's is clear, unless he make another silly mistakes of hitting the umpire or something, his chances are very high right now to win the Wimbledon. I don't see anyone right now that can match him mentality in closing matches. But who knows, maybe we can see someone pulling an upset but it will be a long shot.

Well that can only stop Djokovic currently. But now at wimbledon we will have a full hawk eye system so no more linesmen. Thats a good sign, just watched Djokovic in Mallorca playing doubles looks really good on grass and just reached the final

Boring but at least his games are not like Federer era when he was just winning everything so effortlessly. I know a lot of people like Fed better as a person but I personally think tennis is the stage for personalities like Djokovic, who want to entertain us more than anything else.

Guess Djoko is favorite now for Wimbledon yes?

I dont have a problem with Djokovic winning everything he is from Serbia from my country so im happy. Medvedev,Tsitsipas and other players arent even close to him and they dont deserve the first place in the world honestly. Federer before didnt have any competition and won it all easily once nadal and djokovic came he was useless i dont even consider Federer as the second all time great. Nadal and Djokovic are the best currently in the history. Djokovic can take this year if he wins it all the name of the greatest of all time

Ah,,, of course if I ever have an athlete from my country no matter the sport even bowling (I find it so boring) I will cheer them on:) But like I said Djokovic is an entertainer more than anything else sometimes you feel he even gives games away first so that he feels more motivated like a squad that loves coming from behind. I hope he wins Wimbledon because I got big money on outright:)

Come on this is not entirely true. There have been games in Federer's prime where he destroyed Nadal and Djokovic. It is not like the two came up and Federer's time was over. Absolutely not. Go watch some youtube highlights where Federer beats them up so hard, but I agree with you that it became harder for him when both Nadal and Djokovic matured.

I guess Djokovic is the best player of all times and I can acknowledge that just from the perspective of someone who likes the sport. Federer was great to watch though. What I love the most about Djokovic is his defense. We are probably not going to see that ever again.

That dosent matter at all. Federer is older a couple of years from them both. You can see the head to head results in total and you can see who is winning in them. Prime Federer was between 2000-2010 when there were no real opponents Nadal came first then Djokovic came
Djokovic won since 2011 more throphies then Nadal and Federer togheter. When you say that Federer beat them its normal he is one of the best in the history and the history tells it. But this year Djokovic can write a new history as the greatest of all time.

Well there is no doubt that Djokovic is now the best in the world and I fully agree with you on that for sure! He is the best right now, period. I was just saying that claiming Djokovic always destroyed Federer easily is just not true. When they met around 2007 - 2012 there were epic games included. Really epic games where Federer's chances to win were equal to those of Djokovic. It was really close. Today I wouldn't bet on Federer anymore, no chance. If he faces Djokovic in Wimbledon it is game over for sure.

Yeah,,, we have to say Fedex also conquered them when he did meet them. Maybe not in as entertaining a style as Nadal fast and furious or Djokovic random strength and random weakness.

The Old Lion always wins at first until his body betrays him.

Of all time, I still cannot really say. I like entertainment and am biased towards that but Djoko also has some character flaws that bother me.

What about girls?
Second round in Eastbourne for a surprising Camila Giorgi, who on grass seems to have found new motivations. After overcoming in three sets (2-6 6-2 6-2) a tough opponent such as Karolina Pliskova (world 5th) defeated after an hour and a half of play, the 29 year old Italian can put her sights on the quarter finals of the prestigious English tournament, one of the last before Wimbledon. In front of her now is the American Shelby Rogers, number 47 in the world, an obstacle that's anything but insurmountable.

Yes she is doing really well what a performance its not easy to win against pliskova after losing the first set and she win easily the second and third sets and even today a great performance against rogers too with 2 1 game win  i think she will go far in this competition.

^^ Ah the old debate again as to who is the greatest tennis player of this generation. Arguably, it's hard to decide, yes Federer was the older of the three and obviously had a head way, during his prime no one can touch Roger. I remember him beating Pete Sampras in 03' 04 and others says that it is the passing of the torch, which eventually happen and Roger was so dominant in the next 3-4 years until Nadal come and then Djokovic.

But for now, looking at the records, it seems that Djokovic is somewhat ahead now and it he wins the Wimbledon this year, definitely he will cement himself and the best of the best.

I’m going to be honest and admit that I have a biased opinion and I consider Nadal as the greatest tennis player, but I can’t even deny that Roger deserves all the credit for the hard work he’s put over the year’s. Lastly this question can never reach a end, cause each fan will support their favourite player only hence it’s a never ending debate.

it is getting a little boring with Djokovic dominating, i don't see Tsitsipas being the next number one player, maybe Medvedev or Thiem, Tsitsipas showed good quality tennis on clay, but still did not defeat Djokovic, from my opinion i think Thiem would be the next number one player, i have seen him play on hard with no problem and actually pretty good, and also on clay, didn't see a lot of grass tournaments though.

Federer was a very favorite tennis player and had a lot of fans.
Everything changed when Djokovic came and got involved in the fight between Federer and Nadal for the best tennis player of all time, and when it became apparent that Djokovic was better than Federer and Nadal.
This fact, as well as Djokovic's behavior on the tennis court, brought him a lot of negativity and attacks by the media and fans.
The fact that Djokovic withstood all these attacks and remained the best speaks volumes about his mental strength.
Regardless of the number of GS titles won, I think it can already be said that Djokovic is the best tennis player of all time.
Djokovic proved it when he convincingly beat Nadal in Paris this year.

Yeah, it's obvious that Djokovic will be the main man in Wimbledon.

I don't see it boring though, it's not up to Djokovic, it's up to the competition. If they want to stop Djokovic from winning another major grand slam, then they have to do something about it. And it seems that Djokovic is getting his second wind in his career. After a injury in the last 3 years, he come back strong and never look back. And even we have this young generation coming up, Djokovic is simply the best right now.

^^ I also lost on this parlay obviously. Credit to Humbert to beat Rublev who was really
overpowered, it was close but Humbert indeed is playing very well.

Berrettini went well overall to win at Queens, Norrie pushed him for a bit and
the 3rd set was even to a point. At the start of the 3rd set I placed a single bet on
Berrettini knowing that my parlay had lost so I was able to recover some lost funds.

As I have said, F. Auger Aliassime vs Humbert is going to be close and it can go either way. And in the end, it was Umbert who muscle enough energy to close the game in the time break.

So it will be Umbert vs Rublev in the Halle final. I will go with Rublev by 3 sets win.

Yes i'm with you on that, I have a bet on Rublev to win also with Berrettini to win
at queens against Norrie.

Rublev won Rotterdam in March and hasnt featured much since so he will be looking
to win his second tournament at Halle and I think Berrettini will just be too strong
for Norrie [hopefully]

You give me some idea, so I parlay Rublev and Berrettini here @1.90 with boosted odds.

ML is not too attractive to me, so I'm on a parlay to increased the odds. And I felt that the two can win their respective matches here and I do hope that there will be no surprises here.

Berrettini won, unfortunately Rublev lost his match against Humbert so my parlay got destroyed. Sad

Too bad I thought that Rublev had this game against Umbert, but during the first set, he was broken early and can't get back in the match, although he has chances of on two break points but he wasn't able to capitalised on it. In the second set, it was close, going into tie-break, but again, he was overpowered by Humbert as he was very aggressive.
Grass is the best for hard hitters such as Berrettini, Rublev and Humbert, all of them play aggressively, Berrettini won and it was kind of obvious, unlike Rublev vs Humbert, it was a risky one there since both are good hard hitters, and grass really helps, it was a close match between them, too bad for you Humbert managed to win.

As I have said previously, Rublev is not sho-in for the title as Humbert is really playing very well.

So it's a tough call to bet on Rublev, probably the best bet is on handicapped, although I haven't check it prior to the match.

For Berrettini, I really admire his player, grass or clay court, he is on top of his game. Look for him to develop in the future.
