And Wimbledon is!!!
I'll try to watch and bet the game between Fognini-Ramos Vinolas
Fognini has always shown a greater adaptability on this surface than the Spaniard. Moreover, the nine victories in his career against Ramos-Vinolas represent a guarantee: Fognini is favored to pass the round in a match of at least four sets.
IMO, dhe draw fro the Italian was very lucky. The Spaniard hasn't won a match since Madrid and is player who's prefers to play on clay.

I had no idea Murray is playing,,, so am very happy too:) That guy deserves a lot of commendation for the way he keeps finding a way to play on, but then this is why tennis greats are great.

Got two nice bets to start off my day today, just straight wins for the favs and that is all there is to it for me today on tennis. Will wait for the roster to get smaller before picking off more.

For this first round match Murray is not favourite on Sportsbet, Basilashvili is slight favourite.
Murray had a quick exit at Queens so he will be looking to try and win today, otherwise it will be a
very frustrating defeat in a frustrating season for him.

Couple of interesting matches on today

Sinner v Fucsovics
Delbonis v Rublev
Harris v Berankis
Tsitsipas v Tiafoe

Im gonna pick a few bets but undecided other than Tsitsipas to win.

I'm really looking forward to Murray coming back to play at Wimbledon, remember the last time he played there against Fognini and he defeat, after that he quit tennis for a while due to injury.
i am also looking forward for his first match against Basilashvili tomorrow, Murray to win is @1.9, which is high considering how long murray was absent in ATP tournaments, it takes some time to recover, Basilashvili on the other hand, played on an okay level, but i don't think Andy will lose in the first round, i saw an interview of him saying that he's still in shape and he practiced with Djokovic and other new gen top 10 players and he did really well, and
it was in response to people in social media saying that he's done and he can't compete with top players anymore, i am expecting him to win at least the first match, and we'll see his performance.

''Britain's former world number one Andy Murray says practising with Swiss great Roger Federer has helped build his confidence before he makes a long-awaited singles return at Wimbledon.''
Will Murray after a lot of injuries and problems in recent years really come back and perform at Wimbledon this season?
This is great news for the British but also for all true tennis fans.

The final of the Atp 250 tournament in Eastbourne between Lorenzo Sonego and Alex De Minaur is being played right now. It'ss shaping up to be a long final, which will be decided in three sets and in which the total number of games will be at least 25. Sonego and De Minaur at this moment are equivalent and will give life to a balanced match, but at the end of the battle I think Sonego could win.

It was an interesting and competetive game unfortunatly sonego need to work better on his grass performance because in london he struggled but he improved in eastbourne i think at the moment de minaur deserve this win he didnt lost any sets before this final match and he lost in the semi final on grass in london against a though opponent like berretini so this win is well deserved and better luck next time for sonego.

it is getting a little boring with Djokovic dominating, i don't see Tsitsipas being the next number one player, maybe Medvedev or Thiem, Tsitsipas showed good quality tennis on clay, but still did not defeat Djokovic, from my opinion i think Thiem would be the next number one player, i have seen him play on hard with no problem and actually pretty good, and also on clay, didn't see a lot of grass tournaments though.

Boring but at least his games are not like Federer era when he was just winning everything so effortlessly. I know a lot of people like Fed better as a person but I personally think tennis is the stage for personalities like Djokovic, who want to entertain us more than anything else.

Guess Djoko is favorite now for Wimbledon yes?
competitively boring is what i meant, since Nole is still dominating and no one is on his level right now, i gotta admit that i am an old school guy, i still like Nadal, Federer and Djokovic and cheer for them whenever they play against youngsters, maybe after some time things will change who knows.

I think most of the posters here are old schools are you mate, (no offense)  Grin.

Even in the ladies, I'm still old school, but I have been following the Greak Freak Tsitsipas. But in this Wimbledon, Djokovic path is clear, not a clear challenges, as I think most of the young gen are focus more on the clay court. Or maybe it really fit their young body to a more demanding surface.

I check the outright, there's no odd yet for Djokovic to win the Wimbledon.

Such dominances in tennis are not uncommon actually.
Do you "old guys" remember Samras, Lendl, Borg, and other tennis greats who once dominated men's tennis?
Also, have you already forgotten Serena, Graf, Navratilova, Seles and other tennis players in the women's competition?
The only thing that is different now is that tennis players have longer careers and stay on the tennis top for a long time.
Fans have always been looking for tennis stars, someone they can respect, admire and because of whom they come to tennis matches.
I don't think it's "boring" to have the top three tennis players in the history of tennis at the same time, and watch their matches with each other, and enjoy tennis perfection.
This will never happen again in the history of tennis so we need to enjoy it while we still can  Grin

''Former French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko beat Estonian Anett Kontaveit 6-3 6-3 in the the final of the Eastbourne International to win her first WTA title for almost two years.''
I am glad for Ostapenko and I hope that this is an indication of her return to the top of women's tennis.

Wimbeldon draw is finalized. Djokovic got the better side of it for sure. Only Rublev and Tsitsipas in his side of the draw and it is a big question if they will even get to latter stages when the encounter gets possible.

On the other side there are Federer, Berettini and Zverev. Feel like Zverev will be the one to get to the final. Cilic and Humbert are also on this side and I believe they could cause some upsets.
Its difficult to predict the federer side of the competition but i do not think cilic and humbert will cause problems for him the ones that are though to get past are zverev and berettini they are in fire this year but i think federer had improved compared to last year and weve seen that in rolland garros i think he will show better performance in wimbeldon.

With Thiem missing out as well, things are looking really good for Đoković. A few easy rounds to warm up, then probably only Rublev or Tsitsipas as a serious challenge.

I still cannot dismiss Federer as a contender on grass, we all know how much he wants another title here, but a lot will depend on how fast the grass will be. If it will be slow (and it gets slower as the tournament progresses), he probably doesn't stand much chance of winning it. He's got Medvedev to beat as well.

Tsitsipas doesn't play well in grass, so it will be a surprised to see him even in the quarter finals.

But yeah, Djokovic path's is clear, unless he make another silly mistakes of hitting the umpire or something, his chances are very high right now to win the Wimbledon. I don't see anyone right now that can match him mentality in closing matches. But who knows, maybe we can see someone pulling an upset but it will be a long shot.

Hope so for me because I will be betting on his outright, meanwhile I hope Barty also keeps her mantle of being favorite because I need them both to win to enjoy some good betting wins. Who do you think are the ones likely to go to final and have odds better than 10x? Cause I would like to take that bet.

Betting match by match has been difficult, losing even though picking the right guy eventually;)

Yeah, I saw a lot of matches as qualifiers, but I don't want to take that risk though as upsets could happen here. Obviously, this are upcoming tennis players so I guess everyone is not familiar unless you have been following him/her as countrymen.

Not yet seen the outright odds though, but I will speculate that Djokovic could be like 1.5 favourite to win the Wimbledon here.

Yes I would like to see Federer win another Grand Slam, this year though he has had
mixed results and was probably hoping to be more prepared coming into Wimbledon
after all this is the one he has been targeting for this year, who knows though, maybe
just being at Wimbledon will give him that extra gear.

Djokovic will be the biggest hurdle for everyone...

Thiem give up in the first round in the first set (Mallorca Open), he have a wrist injury (felt pain). Would be the 2nd cancellation for Wimbledon after Nadal. 2 of the TOP 5 would already be missing. It's a shame, Nadal has already canceled the Olympic Games.
Thiem has not cancelled Wimbeldon yet, he is trying to recover in time to play. Would hate if he cancels as well.

It seems like Djokovic will have his draw wide open for another grans slam. Maybe Medvedev can make it interesting. I am expecting Rublev, Humbert and Cilic to do well this year. And of course I did not mention Tsitisipas but I don't remember him playing well on grass. Have to see him perform first.

Well that can only stop Djokovic currently. But now at wimbledon we will have a full hawk eye system so no more linesmen. Thats a good sign, just watched Djokovic in Mallorca playing doubles looks really good on grass and just reached the final

Thanks for the info. And now that Thiem has officially not participating, Djokovic is going to be the favorite to win Wimbledon.

Anyone though betting on the qualifiers, of course the names are not very familiar, but I found out, Mackenzie McDonald, that time when I look at the first set, he was like @2.x underdog, lost the first two sets then comeback and won the last three. Unfortunately, didn't pull the trigger on him, could have been juicy odds after the two sets lost.

With Thiem and Nadal not participating, this is going to be an odd tournament. But yes I fully concur with you. There is pretty much nobody who could stop Novak Djokovic right now. I don't know whom Roger Federer is going to face on his way to the final, but a lot of younger players are already good enough to beat him in Wimbledon. I think even Zverev will be a hard nut to crack for Federer. I hope for the best for him as I would like to see the Maestro to make it as far as possible. He is still such a great personality for the sport as a whole!

That's right, he hasn't canceled yet, I hope he'll play too, but with an injury it will be difficult. Unfortunately, he's not in top form in the last few months. Djokovic is my favorite for the next Grand Slam title, but I'm also curious to see how well Federer plays and how far he will get in Wimbledon.
And now it is official. Thiem has canceled Wimbeldon and 2 other tournaments coming up after it, Hamburg and Gstad if I remember correctly. He will need several weeks to recover from his wrist injury.
