What a pity guys, Tsitsipas completes an epic comeback and he defeats Nadal In Melbourne. As a good Spanish tennis supporter, I wanted to see Rafael Nadal like the biggest Grand Slam winner in history but it looks like we have to wait for the next Rolland Garros Grand Slam. As all the people know and as Almagro said, Nadal will be winning Roland Garros 40 years in a row
Anyways we will support Novak since he is the other amazing player who will play the Melobourne final. Enjoy the final!

cannot be sure, but think that Djokovic will beat Medvedev, his motivation is on the peak, and what he passed on the tournament so far is really some journey, just take a look on his matches, till semi-final neither match was the easy go-through, but he is on a big scene, and while Medvedev is certainly good, and probably tougher choice on AO than even Nadal at the moment, Djokovic will win this one, no matter three, four, five sets needed (probably more than three is the best bet)

Same here, I thought that Tsitsipas would at least win one set, so lost my bet  . Just checked the odds for the final of Djokovic vs Medvedev and both get an odd of 1.93 to win.
Can be a long match, but betting on Djokovic seems to have some value in my eyes. What do you guys think?

So, it is Medvedev vs Đoković for the trophy.

I expected a lot more from Tsitsipas today, he was in the game only for a brief period of the 3rd set where it seemed he could maybe turn it around. He missed a few volleys then, Medvedev had a good serve when he needed it most and won far easier than he expected.

Đoković will not give so many points the same way and I expect a long and probably even a bit boring final. Maybe not result-wise, but tennis-wise for sure.

Best explained on this match between Medvedev and Tsitsi. I have same odds for Medvedev to win the match and Tsitisi to win at least one set. When I put it like that it is a no brainier for me that taking Tsitsi to take at least one set is better value but I thought the same vs. Rublev and lost that one

As I said I did not watch Medvedev yet on AO so this one is tough to call. I am on over games and Tsitsi to take a set for now and then maybe I will add more bets live when I see how it is going.

Edit: not looking good for me at all, did not expect a match like this, maybe he is trying same tactic as against Nadal, first loose 2 sets warming up and then win it  

You seem bet on underdog. Good strategy. Maybe I need to do it sometimes to recover the losses I have. I am into favorits all the time :-D
In the match against Karatsev I never got a chance to bet since Djokovic never was behind.

Medvedev or Tsitsipas today?

This will be an epic battle between the two young generation. If the crowd will be with Tsitsipas, it will give him a morale boost. But Medvedev is very consistent as well, and I would say that they are even at this point in this career. 5 sets with tie break the least. But you know me, I'm on the Tsitsipas bandwagon so I will go for him.


What do you expect from Djokovic though, he really push himself to reach the finals and the giant killer was no match against him.

I'am hoping that it's Tsitsipas who qualifies too, he's the underdog but he showed some good tennis against Nadal, not everyone can comeback after losing first two sets, i am not gonna miss a chance to bet on him @3.27, the odds are really tempting, you also mentioned expecting four sets or more, and i can see that happening for sure, a bet on sets over 3.5 is a good one too.

You missed watching a great match my friend but I understand lol. I agree mate, this win should really help him and it could be the tipping point to making him a great consistent player.

I'm looking forward to tonight's match as its going to be an epic battle between the two young talents of Men's tennis. Medvedev v Tsitsipas. The crowd favourite will be Tsitsipas as he has a big following here in Melbourne so he will have the crowd on his side tonight however Medvedev is going to be a tough opponent so I'm expecting this match to be at least 4 sets and maybe even go to a 5 set match.

Well done to Djokovic on reaching another AO final which is his ninth final. He made a statement yesterday, he said he had no plans to relinquish his throne to the likes of Medvedev or Tsitsipas just yet. But we never know either one of these players can upstage Djokovic on the big stage. I'm hoping that its Tsitsipas.

Medvedev plays Tennis like he is playing Chess, and he actually does play Chess
along with the Playstation! I think he is the one to watch for the future.

has talent, Normally I wouldnt mind either to win.

Agree with this, Medvedev is the most constant player in the last 6 months or so and he will be tough obstacle. Tsitsi maybe has a bigger talent but he is nowhere near as solid as Medvedev. Their H2H is also heavily leaning on Russian side but Tsitis did manage to win in their last encounter so that is something.

I will probably bet on over games on this match. The line is set on 39.5 which seams like a done deal if this match goes to at least 4 sets and it should. One tie break in those 4 should be more than enough. Both players are very good on serve.

Its not easy for tsitsipas to get to the final because medvedev is a though openent and i think he is better than tsitsipas at the moment  i bet on him going to the finals and he even has a chance to win the title.

This GS is marked by the struggle of the great champions who are trying to win a record number of GS titles.
Serena is obviously too old and can no longer compete with much younger and faster tennis players but Djokovic is still there and fighting.
In any case, a very interesting men's final awaits us at this tournament.

Nice win from Tsitsipas, especially after being 2 sets down. The outright bet (Tsitsipas to become AO champion) is still alive and if this would happen several members on here will be very happy  . Most likely final is Tsitsipas vs Djokovic so you could also place a counterbet on Djokovic to win.

Djokovic won the first set against Karatsev.; most probably he will win in straight sets.

You win some you lose some I had just the oposite bets after Tsitsi took third set I made a bet for him to win 4th set @2.4 and to win match @5.3. This time it went my way but if I remember correctly you got it right the day before on Djokovic - Zverev and I lost money there.

The match between Djokovic and Karatsev just started. Looking forward to watching Karatsev for the first time to see what he can bring to the table. He started well enough and already played some nice points but I expect Djokovic to raise the pressure towards the end of the sets and finish this one without too much drama.

It is difficult for Serena, she is getting older while the younger ones are developing and getting stronger,
both in the womens and mens games.

My small outright bet on Osaka is still live, I have her at 6/1 to win.

I also have Medvedev the tactician to take the mens title.

Parheps one of the worse match for Nadal in his career. I can not remember if he has any record like this: ahread by 2 - 0 and then losing the match.
I had several bets and all were favoring Nadal.
In the third set Nadal to win
In the forth set Nadal to win
And in the final set Nadal to win the match.

Serena Williams lost straight sets from Osaka, Osaka is currently the strongest champion candidate.
It seems that it is very difficult for Serena to collect the GS title again at the age of almost 40 years but she has inspired many women in the world with all her achievements

^^ Yes mate, unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the match (don't want to jinx him, LOL), but yes this is already an accomplishment as far as mental toughness of Stepanos is concern. At least now, we saw him elevated his game to the next level and good to see him going into the semis and my bet on him is still alive, and of course give us a good odds in winning.

Djokovic vs the giant killer, Karatsev, we don't know how long can Djokovic play with that abdomen injury.

Osaka and Williams could be the like the finals as well for the women's side.

What an epic match between Nadal and Tsitsipas. I thought that it was all over for Tsitsipas when he went two sets down but he fought back and won the match. I think this is exactly what Tsitsipas needed in his short career so far as this could really give him the confidence to go all the way and win his first ever grand slam. In the past when Tsitsipas gets in winning situations he ends up losing the match but after he won the third set, you could see he had the confidence to win the match. The walkover in Tsitsipas previous match might of given him the edge to go all the way in this match as Nadal did look at times he was tiring. Anyway now we move onto the interesting match tonight between Djokovic and un-seeded and surprise of the tournament so far Karatsev, can Karatsev continue on with his winning form upsetting many players along the way? If he is able to pull this off tonight, I think it would be one of the biggest upsets in a while in Men's tennis, especially in a grand slam.

Your boy Tsitsipas is looking very good my friend. I still remember a couple of years ago in here, you were the one that put me onto Tsitsipas and said to watch him as he looks like a great young talent and now its starting to come together for him. Lets hope he can go all the way and win his first grand slam and even win us some money.
