We are seeing many upsets so far at the Indian Wells Masters on both sides, Women's and Men's with the top players losing to unseeded players and lower ranked players. Right now Federer is playing Edmund with Federer up 0-4 in the first set and looks in complete control of the match. The interesting match going on right now is the Hurkacz and Shapovalov match where either player can win late in the third set with Hurkacz leading 4-3 and is on serve trying to win game eight and make it 5-3.

I feel upsets are good for this sport as it boosts those unseeded players confidence for future tournaments, it’ll be interesting if one of those players makes it to semis or finals. The match between Federer vs Edmund was a really easy one for Federer, honestly I felt little disappointed that Edmund didn’t offer stiff competition to him. I had no doubt in my mind about Hurkacz winning the match, he’s deserved this victory there’s no doubt about this.

Definitely, we need some upsets, not just in Tennis but in all other sports as well. Otherwise, the game will be predictable and it's possible that the sports will die. I mentioned before the actual match between Federer and Edmund could be interesting, as I think that Edmund will offer something different, I think this is the first time the the two will face each other, so there is the possibility of upset. However, we have seen what had happened, Federer is too good even at this point in his career.

I agree that upsets are good for tennis and all sports in general but its not good for people betting which is why I don't bet on tennis that much in these tournaments. Grand Slams seem to be better to bet in but we also get upsets in GS as well so it does make it hard at times to bet.

In the first quarter final Raonic is currently leading winning the first set comfortably however the young Kecmanovic is fighting back in the second set but not sure if it will be enough to beat Raonic. Monfils v Thiem will be an interesting match to see, I'm thinking Thiem should get the win here.

It was a great match between Hurkacz and Shapovalov, but as I have said in my previous post, Hurkacz is really playing exceptionally well and won 7-6, 2-6, 6-3. I thought Edmund will give Federer some push but Federer is too much, 6-1, 6-4 winner as well. Isner is also ousted by Khachanov. Bencic vs Pliskova and V. Williams vs Kerber will be fun to watch later. Also, we will see Hurkacz vs Federer and then Nadal vs Khachanov tomorrow for the QF.

 Svitolina elina performance
loss that favourite: 14
loss that outsider: 2
winnings that favourite: 35
winnings that outsider: 6
reliability that outsider: 25 %
reliability that favourite: 71.4 %

 Vondrousova Market performance
matches: 40
won: 24
percentage: 60 %
For this statistics i will go with svitolina😍
Svitolina should have quite an easy match here.Even though I am Romanian and obviously, honestly I am not very surprised about vondrousova win yesterday against halep, and that's because Halep was definitely not playing at her best and all vondrousova had to do is place the ball in and wait for halep to make a mistake.

And did you know who knocks out Osaka? It's Bencic, LOL, I remember we almost got everything correct in our prediction except for Bencic and now it seems she is continuing her run to the Indian Wells. Let's wait for the men's QF before making our bold prediction as there are lots of surprises.  Grin. I've seen you followed one tipsters though, how does it goes on your end?
I took his last one as just fun. It was an 7 match fold. I just picked them and almost forgot about the bet. Today when I was checking results I spotted all won except the djokovic one LOL

Okay so Bencic is continuing her magic? Great. Now I have interest in Women format too :-)

Well, I have the same thoughts today, just looking yesterday and today's score and I was wondering why everyone is not talking about it, LOL. I never thought that Djokovic will be upset. So obviously the women and men side number one are gone, as I have posted earlier than Osaka was upset as well. So it's now on Nadal and Federer hands as they are the top players to stay in the contention for the trophy and obviously, our favorites to win.
I did not know that women number one gone as well.

Anyway, If everything goes as planned then Nadal and Federer will meet each other in the Semi which means we are not going to see a Nadal vs Federer final. Now question is who will face one of them in the Final?

Shall we work it out? Remember last time, we both did well :-)

edit:

I think it will be Thiem? ;-)

I know it is stupid.

Definitely a lot of upsets this year. I am expecting it to continue today as well. Therefore I am backing some underdogs both as straight wins and handicaps. I am thinking Struff could have a fighting chance against Raonic. Same goes for Karlovic against Thiem and Khachanov against Isner.

Didn't watch a lot of matches but from what I have seen this far Nadal looks very good and could add another title to his stash.

Yes. He beat Nick kyrgios in straight sets but Novak djokovic was favorite by a land slide to win this match because his progress had been going up every tournament he has been playing this year.
Expect more outing of the favorites before the finals in this one.
It has been a strange one so far. Embarrassed

Nadal's match is live right now and he looks in control of the match and should win from here after winning the first set 3-6 and currently leading the second set 0-2. We did see a few more upsets today with Nishikori losing after winning the first set against Hurkacz and Medvedev losing in straight sets to Krajinovic who has actually been in some good form of late so I wouldn't really call it an upset but he is unseeded at this tournament and he did beat the number 14th seed. Cilic also lost his match against Shapovalov but again I wouldn't call this an upset either.

The match is like 3:00 am local time here so I wasn't able to watch the game. As expected, Nadal win and Roger as well and he will be facing, for me, a dangerous foe in Edmund. As for Nishikori his playing inconsistent so I'm not surprised at all with the lost to Hurkacz as he is playing good so far. Shapovalov is ranked 24 against a 10th seed Cilic so I we could call that an upset as well. In the womens side, Bencic giant killing spree continues as he ousted the number 1 player, Osaka. She will be facing Karolína Plíšková in quarter finals and Venus Williams against Kerber in the other bracket.

Hey Nadal dominated the match and won it comfortably, the way he was playing there was no doubt left as to who will be the winner in the end. I feel he has an extra motivation to win this cup as he’s yet to win it, and since he’s at the prime of his carrier he will wish to win it. The way Nishikori lost was kind of strange, after winning the first set who would have expected Nishikori to surrender the game.

I watched the first set and I have to say that Krajinovic deserves this victory because he's played probably some of his best tennis. After winning the first set all the job was done because Medvedev let himself down and made a lot of unforced errors. I think Medvedev could have win this match if we would have played at his best but seems like in the last weeks something is going wrong for him.

Ok so we are down to the round of 32 and although there's a lot of surprises so far. There are also some familiar names still left and fighting. Interesting match to see:

Marin Čilić vs Shapovalov and then we have Federer vs Wawrinka and then Nadal vs S Schwartzman.

It seems like every '' lower ratwd'' player started to play better this year. Raonic almost lost today to a player that's 212 place in the world. This was expected to be an easy match for him, more like a training match but he was down a set and then down to 3-0 in the last set but won it in the end, probably because the other player wasn't mentally ready yet to make such a great performance.
In third set he was 4 - 1 down before he held his service and break two constitutive service of Giron.
Anyway, today we have Djokovic, Nadal match. They both should get easy win.
