A.Zverev has just won 2-0(7-6 6-2) against Carreno-Busta quite easily and will play in the final against Isner!
if he wins the tournament he will return to third place in the atp ranking.
if he manages to get good results in slam tournaments this year, he can start thinking about the first place overall!

Isner is playing really well at the moment. He is almost untouchable at first serve and he is making over 70% first serves. On the other hand Zverev knows how to play against him, they played 3 times and Zverev won all 3. I am thinking this one goes to 3 sets and quite possible we will see at least 2 tie breaks.

Isner has just won 2-0 against Del Potro (who breaks a streak of 15 consecutive wins!) and is the first finalist in Miami.
Del Potro seemed tired, while Isner is at the height of his physical shape and has been devastating with his service!
His serve is the fastest I think this tournament.
One of them was clocked at 139mph.
I think I've only seen someone do 142mph last year so this is very close to that maximum speed for a serve.
Del porto did not have a chance to return those in the final set and that is what destroyed his chances in winning the match because he was still tired from all the matches he has played already. John Isner caught him on a day that he was utterly gassed and could not return those serves. I think he struggled on his serve too because he had only 4 aces against Isner's of over 12 by the end of the match.

From today games I think Delpo should win comfortably against Nisihikori. H2H is heavy on Delpo side and Nisihikori has just come back from the injury.

Yes, I bet on Delpo as well. But, he might be tired since he won both Acapulco and Indian Wells in a row. We will see...

Also, I added Krajinović and he is doing pretty well for now.

I am thinking Delpo still has some juice left but we will see. The match should start any minute now, players are warming up as I type this.

Good pick on Krajinovic, I skipped that one because of Paire. If Paire has his day he can beat anybody and if he has a bad day he can lose from juniors. No bet for me when such unstable players are playing.
Del Porto bet was an easy guess as he disposed of Ken Nisihikori quite easily. Must of been from him just coming off of injury because Juan Delpo has been working like a mad man winning at Indian Wells from what some are saying was the best match they have ever witnessed before.
Some good odds on him @1.40 before the match started.
I would suspect Nadal will be losing his matches when he gets back as Djokovic has been doing for the past matches he has had since his return back to the circuit.

Great start of the season for Del Potro!
He is already in the semi-finals and if he wins the tournament he will do his best ranking by climbing on the podium for the first time in his career!
Moreover he can reach the first place too!

Delpo will have a tough match vs. Isner today but I think he will manage to win this one as well.

Has anybody seen Zverev match against Coric yesterday? If Zverev managed to get close to his best form I think he is a big favorite today and well worth putting some money on him.

Roger Federer was ousted from the Miami Open as he lost his second game row in the Miami Open as he fell in three sets to Thanasi Kokkinakis. The defeat robs Federer of his World Number 1 position and it seems that he will no be fighting for it as he said that he will not be competing in the upcoming French Open as well.

his defeat is truly resounding, perhaps he is tired. He has indeed stated that he will not play for the next 3 months. he will lose the first position in the ranking atp after this tournament, but Nadal must defend many points so I think that Federer also without playing will soon return to the first place for so many weeks.

Đoković lost again. Sad
He made strike of three losses, first time after 2008 if I remember right.
He simply doesn't feel fit, and it's clearly he needs rest. But, it seems he doesn't get it, since he signed for Miami in doubles category as well.

he is definitely out of shape, but in my opinion he is more in a psychological problem. He is no longer concentrated in the field and lately he suffers from self-esteem.
I hope that he returns to be the "cannibal" of a few years ago.

I totally agree, mental thing is more difficult to hurdle than physical. And not just in tennis to be fair but all sportsman who's on top but suddenly goes down needs to be mentally tough if they wanted to come back and claim the throne.

We have seen Tiger Woods out for many years but it looks like he's trying to come back this year. I think he has already fought his demons that's why he is showing very good right now.

I'm sure that Djokovic can comeback maybe next year and be the same "old self" or even stronger.

Has someone watched the match? Paire is one of those players which can play much better then their ranking or much worse depending on his mood. I am interested to hear if Djokovic was bad and lost or maybe it was simply that Paire played out of his skin and won a match.

I am looking at today's matches to choose something to play. I am thinking Coric, Shapovalov & Zverev will win. They all play first match in the program and odds are between 1.45-1.55
Don't play Shapovalov he nearly lost against Troicki the other day. And it was only because Victor double faulted in the tie breaker to give him the match.
I bet on him early in Indian wells and he lost to a young player and I won't forget that loss. Coric is coming off a good performance so I would bet on him but not on Zverev as he is off his game in the last two tournaments as well.
I hope Đoković will manage to work that out until season on clay comes. The world tennis needs strong Novak and it's obvious. Without him, world tour is a bit boring.

Yes, Shapovalov was pretty easy match to bet on. And the odd was quite good though. I think Careno Busta will win easily as well.

Turned out quite OK. All three won but only Shapovalov was an easy win, Zverev needed 3rd set tie break.

Also in the Miami tournament, Roger Federer will have to defend his first place in the atp ranking!
He will have to reach at least the quarter finals to stay in first place.

Given the current of Federer, I don't think it will form a problem to reach the quarter finals. I am curious to know if we will see, like in Indian Wells, a lot of early exits of the "bigger" names.

Federer has an easy draw: Kokkinakis then probably Verdasco and then one between Mannarino and Carreno-Busta)
Meanwhile, there are already sensational eliminations: Goffin,Bautista,Djokovic!
