So the favourites won and in straight sets each. I wasnt expecting Safiullin to
beat Musetti.

Odds now on the final have Zverev as favourite and rightly so, I think this will be quite
a task for Safiullin he doesnt have any titles as far as I can determine. He has done quite
well to get to this final, could he be inspired to beat Zverev @ 3.20?

My bet will be on Sascha as someone who reaches the final for the first time is very unlikely to win in. Stats say so. Even Alcaraz and other star prospects can rarely win their first final at such level.

its 1.8 v 2.0

and in the second semi final Zverev is favourite, I would have expected that.

For Dolehide it is the best in her single tournaments. Everything is an experience and this could keep her motivated and make her give the best in her further matches. Actually, the match between Dimitrov and Varialls should have started 90 minutes ago. But rain delayed the start.
Evans, who is seeded 4th in this tournament, lost his first match against Safiullin quite clearly with 6:3 and 6:3. A bit surprising.

As was Kenin for Fernandez, there was some really great tennis played by both. I
opted to watch this rather than France v Namibia in the Rugby World Cup.

Fernandez had 14 aces and Kenin had something like 12 double faults but still managed
to win in 3 sets. She now faces someone I have never heard of Caroline Dolehide?

Sakkari has a seemingly tougher draw against Garcia.
