I was also thinking the same but hell, once again India is coming to bat. It would probably be easily won with a margin of innings, if not, still India could get the match won. What the fuck is blowing in Kohli's mind?

Despite the batting practice and all these things you are talking about, I think Kohli will ask WI to follow on. Winning by an innings is much more prestigious than winning by other margin and India have a good chance for it in this Test.

WI will most likely reach 150 in the first innings but if they get more, India may choose to put more 100 runs o the board so that even if WI reach 250+ runs, India would calmly win the match and series. I wonder who will they choose as the man of the match/series this time in case the match ends tomorrow.

I want to see follow on as well, but Virat is unpredictable with his decisions, who knows if he opts to bat again and say to everyone that their batsmen can use some batting practice.

Ishant has been performing exceedingly well with both bat and ball so far in this series and now the selectors will be a worried lot. There are too few slots and too many talented bowlers. In the West Indian pitches they can go with three pacers - Ishant, Bumrah and Shami. But one of them needs to be dropped for the sub-continental matches.
I would go with Sharma and Bumrah as both are the best bowlers India has had but I still doubt if Sharma can perform the same way against other teams as earlier he was known for giving away too many runs and wides due to his height. Just hope his talent is not limited only to weak teams like WI.

West Indies have been playing horrible cricket for quite sometime now(ODI and test formats) which was why the odds for India to win(1.33) were over-valued and this was a value bet in my opinion.I do not like such one sided matches because there is no thrill or enjoyment in such matches. Also the spectators would want a close match regardless of whether they are supporting India or West indies.

Indians are clearly enjoying the game( Especially that amazing hat-trick) which is why this is still an entertaining match for them overall. Hanuma Vihari is incredible. Ishant Sharma is also playing is best innings in his career. WI has turned into a poor team in test matches. India will win this match as well with greater margin.
WI were 97/7 when the 2nd day ended. This match will be won by India easily. I do not like such one sided matches because there is no thrill or enjoyment in such matches. Also the spectators would want a close match regardless of whether they are supporting India or West indies.
Actually it is depressing to see such one-sided matches. If a tailend batsmen like Ishant can hit a half century, that tells a lot about the degradation of the West Indies bowling attack. And even more tragic was the fact that they collapsed to 87/7 on the same day Ishant hit that 50. The top scorer in West Indies hit 34, which was 23 runs less than what Ishant scored. And worse still, this was a home match for WI.
They are still trailing by 329 runs, and I don't see a situation in which they could avoid follow on and later an innings defeat. Perhaps the ICC should divide the test league to two divisions. Teams such as West Indies and Sri Lanka no longer has the capability to take on top teams such Australia, India and England. Even South Africa is moving in that direction.

The second day of the match was completely dominated by the Indians. Vihari and Ishant dominated the first 2 sessions with some sensational batting even Holder who did some damage on the first day was not able to do much on the second day. Bumrah completely destroyed the Windies in the last sessions with his exceptional bowling display scalping 6 wkts for 16 runs. This has given a overall advantage for the Indians to win by an innings and a few runs.
Currently Windies are at 87/7 trailing by 300+ runs with 3 days remaining. So if they are looking for a draw, they'll have to follow on (no doubt there) and will have bat for 2+ days without losing much wickets and getting past 500 runs. But this seems very unlikely and the Indians are not going to let this match out of there hands and will look to finish the series as 2-0
