What a time this player is having as making third consecutive century is a achievement and truly having best of the time in batting it’s seems . Though Oz have lost 3 wickets but scored 220 runs and averaged wins quite slow which is little lower than 3 per over .
Even though Labuschagne crossed his century you cannot call it a day dominated by the Aussies as they were able to pick wickets when ever it mattered and the morning session is important to determine how long they will bat.

@7788bitcoin If Aus don't get bowled out then i don't think they should bat entire day tomorrow, at least give kiwis 20-25 overs to bat under the lights.
A couple of wickets and the Australian tail is exposed, so New Zealand will be trying their best to restrict them to a low total and it all depends on how the Australians will approach the game, they will be trying to score some quick runs if they loose the wicket of Labuschagne.

For now the match is totally a balanced as OZ should be able to reach minimum 350 runs even if they wickets keep falling in regular intervals . Also OZ did not even scored 3 runs per over average. Clarke really played very slow.

Sri Lanka will Play test series with Pakistan in Pakistan Cricket Stadiums. Test Cricket again back in Pakistan after ten years.
https://www.zerocric.com/pakistan-vs-sri-lanka-live-streaming/

LOL.. the first test got underway two days back and if you check the previous pages there are posts on that match as well. It is a good thing that the Pakistani fans are able to watch their team playing at home after almost a decade. But unfortunately for them, rain is playing spoilsport. Only 86 overs of play was possible during the first two days due to bad weather and the match is very likely to end in a boring draw if there is no miracles during the next three days.

Labuschagne is going to become the backbone of Australian batting in the near future. He is just 25 years old, and has another 10-12 years to make a few batting records for himself. And let's not forget the fact that Labuschagne was born in South Africa, and he decided to shift to Australia due to the racial quota policy in South African cricket. South Africa's loss is Australia's win.
If Labuschagne is able to perform at the same level then he will break many records, in his first few matches he did not make any impact but then when the series against Pakistan came he just elevated his performance to a difference level, earlier he was getting 50s but not able to convert those starts to big centuries but the Pakistan series changed that and he is now in top gear as he is scoring century after century and hope the pressure to perform everytime will not get him.

Marnus Labuschagne continued his form and scored his third consecutive test century which is incredible and both of those innings were above 150 runs but short of reaching a double century and now he has the opportunity to improve that and reach his first test double century if he is able to play the entire day tomorrow and if he is able to play by each sessions then he will accomplish that and unfortunately Smith got out to the trap set by the New Zealand bowlers.

This Labuschagne guy keep stacking runs this year, no matter who are the opponent. Warner and smith failed today despite their good start. Australia still in a good position. Kiwis can claim some victory as well when they took Wade's wicket in the end.

If its not a seaming wicket then why did they included 4 pacers and left out the spinner Yasir Shah.

There are actually a number of questions. Why 4 pacers and no good spinner on a wicket which is supposed to help the spinners? Why still no Fawad Alam after all the centuries he has scored in the domestic? Since Misbah came, there seems to be a hell lot of interference of politics as well as stupidity.

Rain and Bad light interrupting the game so match is heading towards draw anyway unless any team performing Hara-kiri. Misbah is chief selector and coach so it was expected, no one is there challenge his decision. who know if Waqar is also backing him.

@Sithara007 you happy now? Lockie Ferguson got the Test Cap.

First test between OZ and Nz in Oz have begun and Australia won the toss and decided to bat first . This is the day night test match and Oz are now 18 for no loss . Ferguson from NZ who is fast bowler has made debut in this match .
Australia lost two wickets and first one was an unfortunate decision and Burns did not go for the review as the ball was clearly missing the leg stump and  Warner got out because of a brilliant catch by Wagner, Ferguson made his debut but he was taken apart by the Australian batsman and hence he just bowled 4 overs and finally Smith gets the opportunity to bat and hopefully his form continues in this match.

Australia have scored 158 runs for the loss of two wickets, and both Australia’s batman are now starting to get comfortable on the pitch which is not a good sign for the Newzeland bowlers. @SaShiRaJaVu it seems Ferguson has finally found his rhythm in this match as he’s now bowled 11 overs, and I’m sure he’ll want to get the priced wicket of Smith on his debut match.

Sri Lanka is struggling at 202/5 and it will be difficult for them to get to a score in excess of 300. So I have to say that the Pakistani strategy worked, since in a sub-continent track they are restricting the opponents to less than 300. Yasir Shah is a promising bowler and in case the current bunch of bowlers are unable to do their job, then he'll get a chance to play during the second test.

These are real questions to ask but sadly no one can give good answers as most of peoples are not working on merit and PCB is worst authority in cricket world as they never do any home work when they need yasir shah he is not in least eleven and when they need four pace bowlers then yasir shah doing for them in worst situation peoples are not coming in stadium even they are crying its free entry shame on them.

Sri Lanka had a good start but then they started loosing wickets and Pakistan were able to have an upper hand right now and Mathews is the player they have to target as he is the only dangerous player Sri Lanka have right now and if they are able to pick his wicket then Pakistan will have a peace of mind that they will not score a huge target as they do not have the batsman to score big runs and their main player will be Babar Azam.

Everything is not lost for Srilanka and the match is still in a balanced position. If the srilanka tail enders can score 100 more runs which will give them a total around 320- 350 will be a challenging for Pakistan who are struggling a lot. I still see srilanka will dominate the match because Pakistan will make blunders in batting as usual.

Srilankans are in trouble 129/4, Pakistan have bounced back hard in the second session picking up four wickets. Now SL have to find a solid parternship from this point. If Angelo Mathews and de Silva are gone, then I believe, Pak will win this match.

It is a home match for Pakistan, and yet they have refrained from making the pitch pace-friendly. Their pace bowlers were struggling (especially Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah). But to their credit, they prevented the Sri Lankan batsmen from building big partnerships and the Lankans were unable to convert 40s and 50s to three digit scores. But there is big question about rain. We can expect rain interruptions for the next 2-3 days at Rawalpindi.

If it rains, followed by draw. it raises another point as well, If you look at scorecard then you might notice that Pakistan only bowled 68 overs (Slow over rate), only 2 overs from two different part timers, in the end Stumps due to bad lights. It appears to me that many teams are not taking slow over rate seriously. India and SA both were doing same couple of months back.

First day and just 68 overs look like its very poor management by PCB as they now its very short day so they have to start some early but they are not able to do any thing first session belong to Sri Lanka and second session belong to Pakistan now if Pakistan able to have quick wickets then they can do some good otherwise I am feeling its a draw match because we have going to short nearly one day.

Its still Day 1 on this test match so we can't come into any conclusions with that 4 wickets down. Smiley

One good partnership on any innings can change the game into their side,so Angelo Mathew and de Silva have to stay longer at the crease as much as they can then the runs will flow into their side.
