Ireland lost three wickets for just 13 runs. But now their collection is 36/3. Ireland need 75 more runs to win. Experienced players like Andy Balbirnie (c), Paul Stirling, Lorcan Tucker and Andy McBrine are still there. Scoring 75 runs is an easy task. If the batsmen can survive at the crease then Ireland can easily collect 75 runs. And they have quite a few experienced batsmen in their squad. Lorcan Tucker and Andy McBrine batted well in the first innings.

I respectfully disagree with your conclusion that Ireland players are more experienced than Afghanistan. Both teams are similar in terms of experience at the test level. Ireland displayed a better strategy, and they are ahead in this game. A target of 111 runs is nothing in test cricket, but Ireland lost 3 early wickets. They are looking careful, and if Afghanistan bowlers take a couple of wickets, this match might get interesting, and we might see a thriller out of nowhere.

Well, you are very quick in your final verdict; this test is far from over. Yes, Australia bowled beautifully to the New Zealand top order, but their middle order did show some resistance. The partnership between Glenn Phillips and Tom Blundell helped them to stabilise their inning somehow. A valuable 42 runs from Matt Henry got them to a reasonable total after a top-order collapse.
Australia lost 2 of their experienced campaigners early in the 2nd innings. If New Zealand manages to take wickets early on day 3, things will be much different. I am still thinking that this match is not over yet.

Aussies bundled the Kiwis and got lead of 205 but not enforcing follow on, so they are going to bat as deep as they can and let the NZ to lose by huge margin. Lyon strike too early than expected and picked 4 wickets just in the 8 overs. For NZ Phillips and Matter Henry fired some quick runs to get such total or their innings might ended in 120-130 range.

He took the match away single handedly from Kiwis at the moment, with bit of support from the tail enders.

The worse thing is Kiwis started really bad and already they lost 3 wickets just for 15 runs on the board including one run out of Williamson. Well, that sums why Kiwis always struggled against OZ in the red ball at their home for decades.

Someone has to grind really hard to decrease the deficit as much as they can.

I was also a little surprised to see that Afghanistan is not playing well against Ireland. I thought Afghanistan would be a far better team, especially in the test format against Ireland. But things have not turned out to be like that. And when Afghanistan lost two wickets in their second innings for only 38, I was legit worried. But right now it seems like they have stabilized the situation. Right now they have a lead of 26 runs. They have seven wickets in hand and it is only the end of day two. So they have a lot of time to score. They should try to survive and keep the scoreboard running. If they give a target of anything less than 300/350, it might be a problem for them.
