Dhruv Jurel rightly deserves man of the match award for his crucial 90 runs innings in first innings followed by 39 runs in second innings. Main thing is Dhruv Jurel scored runs when India require someone to take the responsibility. England after doing all hard work in first innings had a terrible second innings where all team was able to score 145 runs only. Last test match will be played on Dharamsala from March 07 - 11.

About Patidar the guy has struggled so much to get a berth and at his age it is impossible to make a comeback. I doubt he would be replaced in the final test. I think the Rohit and Dravid gang would keep him and give him the last opportunity as it doesn't hurt the team or the series. I won't think Bhumrah would make a comeback as considering the upcoming IPL and his fitness issue in the past he would be rested. Considering giving rest to a few players I feel this time both Ashwin and Jadeja would be rested due to their age factor. A batch of all new palyers sitting at the bench would be given a chance. I do feel Mukesh will be again tested if it does happen then it is a possibility that Shirajz might sit on the bench and Akash Deep as his replacement.

Rishabh Pant will always stay in the priority list of the team selectors for his overall good performance and experience. Jurel could be the best option for India in the absence of Pant. This youngster has shown his capability in this test match. He batted well in both innings despite being under pressure. Although it is early to judge him with the performance of two international test matches, but I hope he will be a good choice as he played with responsibility in a difficult condition.

That is seriously insane. Beating India at home in tests is an accomplishment that every team is chasing after and the only one that has a remote shot at it is another titan(Australia) in my opinion.

To keep behind the wicket and bat in the test format, Pant still needs a long recovery time, so Jurel is looking solid for this year. When the time comes then I'd say it's a good headache to have 2 solid batting WK in the wings.

Australia has 10-sh consecutive home series records 2 times but there were a couple of draw series in between as well so second best is considered 10 series which is ofc Australia. 2 more test series are lined up this year (NZ and BAN) so Indian should up their tally to 19 soon, unless some surprises are waiting.

With a day to spare, India have sealed a fourth Test win over England. Team India fell by just 5 wickets on the fourth day and they secured an easy five wicket lead with time to spare. Team India lost the first match, but in the last three matches, Team India bounced back and won three consecutive matches to seal the series against England. The fifth Test match will be a tie-breaking match as even if India win the fifth T20 match they will win the series and if England win India will win the series. Congratulations to India for winning the series with one match in hand. The players who did not get a place in the eleven in the first four matches may be given a chance in the fifth match by team India.

One of the reasons why Dhruv Jurel won the Player of the match award is because he played the most responsible and effective innings in India's first innings. Similarly he formed a brilliant partnership with Shubman Gill in the second innings as well and eventually led his team to a five-wicket victory. India batted aggressively and defensively from the start in the second innings but their batting fell apart in the middle. From there Shubman Gill and Dhruv Jurel took care of the Indian team and basically stood as a wall in front of the England bowlers and even gave the Indian team a win.

If the team could somehow collect 200 runs in the second innings, then maybe England could defeat India. But in the second innings, none of the batsmen of England's squad could bat well. England scored only 145 runs in the second innings.

And just now India has won by 5 wickets against England in their 4th Test match. In 1st innings, both team used to score good amount of runs. Joe Root (122) did his century, Ollie Robinson(56) did his half century and Ben Foakes(47) was close enough for 50s. Similarly, Yashasvi Jaiswal(73) did half century and Dhruv Jurel(90) was close enough for century. But after 2nd innings, everything is changed. England all out within 145-10 runs only. Without a half century by Zak Crawley(60), no player played well. The only reason was Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin who got 4 & 5 wickets respectively. And here, they changed the game totally. Afterwards due to contribution of Shubman Gill(52), Rohit Sharma (55), india surpassed the Target easily & won the match

If England could have won today's match then the series would have been tied but England lost to India by 5 wickets today as a result of which India has already secured the series win. But since then the England team could not bowl that well as a result of which the Indians did not lose any more wickets.

If they had batted as well in the second innings as England did in the first innings then this match could have been different but they failed to do that. India sealed the series by 5 wickets but India were invited to celebrate for the fifth match. The way England performed in the first innings, it seemed very likely that this test would be a draw or England would win, but due to England's poor performance in the second innings, England had to accept this match as a draw. However, out of 20 wickets in England's two innings in this Test, the three spinners Kuldeep Yadav, Ashwin, Jadeja have 16 wickets. This test was mainly won due to the contribution of the spinners.

They did give us some scare but hell yeah! The series is now in a pocket.

Bashir was fantastic with the ball and showed great control with hardly any loose ball. This young inexperienced batting lineup won 3 matches on a trot, they did fumble here n there but they got us home.
MOM should be Jurel or Kuldeep, tough to choose one so give with both of em (unofficially).

Only 36 runs needed to win the match and the series for India. I doubt the game is in a flux anymore and the way Jurel is batting it should be over soon. Earlier India needed 50 runs and they lost back to back wickets, now noth batters are easily getting singles and are able to rotate the strike. A few more hours and the match should be over and Idia should win this match comfortably.

Don't forget Patidar he also got out for a duck. Gill is still trying and Jurel has joined him on the pitch. India still trail by 50 runs, which is not that big but the problem is that they have lost 5 wickets. Any more wickets if they lose then it would be tough for them to win the match. Again a good comeback from England they got all big names for duck and if they can get another wicket then they can level the series.

The match is still in flux. Anything can still happen. Both teams still have chances to win. But it is easy for India to win the match now.

India managed to collect 148 runs after losing 5 wickets. India lost the fifth wicket by 120 runs. DHruv Jurel and Gill are batting well. The team needs only 44 runs to win. If Jurel and Gill stay at the crease it will be very easy for India to collect 44 runs. However, if these two batsmen are out quickly, the Indian team will be under pressure. If England could have somehow set a target of 220+ in this match, they might have been able to win the match. It is very difficult to win against a team like India with a target of just 192 runs.
