It's a great opportunity for Bangladesh team to win a test series against a strong test side i.e. New Zealand. If Bangladesh can give a target of around 250 then they have fair chance of winning this test. We still have 2 days left and if there is no further rain interruption then surely there will be result. 22 wickets have already gone down in just 3 days of test play and it clearly tells the support it has for bowlers.

Bangladesh lost their first wicket by 3 runs and their second wicket by 38 runs. The match has now been stopped due to lack of light. Perhaps the Bangladesh team will not get a chance to bat again today. I don't expect a good performance from Bangladesh's top order. But I expect good performance from middle-order Mushfiq, Mominul and Miraj today. If these three batsmen are able to bat responsibly then the Bangladesh team will be able to give a target of more than 220. And on such a pitch 220 runs would be enough to win.

220 is not needed. We saw how New Zealand batting collapsed during the second innings of first test match. I would say that a target of 150 should be enough and 170-180 should give Bangladesh a comfortable win. And if the Bangladeshi batsmen bat a bit more carefully, then it is achievable. But if they go in T20 mode, then there is a risk that they will lose quick wickets and their batting may collapse. Throughout the match, Bangladesh has maintained an upper hand and it will be disappointing if they flounder it as a result of carelessness.
In 2nd inningg Bangladesh 38/2 in just 8 overs and lead by 30 runs and day 3 stumps off Ban team play fast to give target in maximum overs to avoid test draw captain Najmul Hossain out early on 15 runs and Zakir Hasan with 16 runs on the crease. Ajaz patel and tim southee both take single wickets Bangladesh team will start morning session of day 4 with his batting both teams should try their best to win this match if Ban team lead around about 200+ on day 4 its very difficult for New Zealand to chase this target on 5th day so they should out early Ban team in first 2 session under 170 and chase the target in remaining sessions
It seems that Bangladesh cannot win this match against New Zealand. New Zealand lost the first test match by many runs but this time they have a lot of chances to win the match. if the performance of Bangladesh is not good from the beginning of the game, they cannot collect good runs later. Meanwhile, Bangladesh lost two wickets for just 38 runs. So nothing better can be expected from them. So probably Bangladesh is going to lose this match. Bangladesh can collect maximum 200 runs in the second innings

Bangladesh needs to be cautious here. They have a lead of 30 runs and already they have lost two wickets. If the target for New Zealand is somewhere around 150 (Bangladesh made 172 in the first innings), then there is a real chance that the Kiwis will be able to chase it down. So far Tim Southee and Ajaz Patel have taken one wicket each and Zakir Hasan as well as Mominul Haque are at the crease. Even now I would say that Bangladesh is having the upper hand. But at the same time, they can't venture on any adventures.
In the first innings, Bangladesh batsmen decided to bat first after winning the toss. The Bangladesh team was under a lot of pressure after losing wickets in the beginning and the Bangladesh team was all out for only 172 runs. With a target of 173 runs, the New Zealand team was under a lot of pressure after losing 5 wickets for 55 runs. Then play was suspended yesterday due to rain. Today New Zealand's total is 180 all out. The Bangladesh team then went into bat and ended the third day's play with the loss of two wickets for 38 runs.

Bangladesh vs New Zealand match 2nd inining s going on. Bangladesh has scored 38 runs and they have two players out. these two players are out very early even though they should have partnered for 100 runs  partnership.  Mahmudul Hasan Joy is a very good player but he got out too early and Zakir Hasan and Mominul Haque are still at the crease and these are the two players who can threaten New Zealand if these two batsmens stay for too long then they can easily score three hundred and above. if Bangladesh score 300 then they can be expected to win this match as New Zealand don't understand much of Bangladesh bowlers.

In terms of bowling, two New Zealand players took one wicket each.  Ajaz Patel is bowling well and Tim Southee is also supporting him.  If New Zealand want to win this match, they will have to take wickets and Bangladesh team must be out before 200 runs, if they fail to do that, then it will be more difficult for them to chase

I don't know, but the way Bangladesh is batting, they might lose this match from a winning position. A target of 200 would be defendable. The game has moved nicely, and neither team has the advantage, to be honest. New Zealand hopes for an early breakthrough on Day 4 to restrict them as early as possible, while Bangladesh needs to form a good partnership. Bangladesh's performance on Day 3 wasn't as promising. They didn't bowl out earlier than they did and later lost two important wickets. Zakir Hasan and Mominul Haque are still at the crease and must be careful as they need extend their lead and set up a good target.
In the first Test match, New Zealand beat Bangladesh by a few runs in the first innings. The same thing happened in the second match.  However, Bangladesh's performance now looks very poor as they have lost two wickets for just 38 runs.  So it seems they might not be able to collect too many runs.  Meanwhile, New Zealand's preparations are very good.  So New Zealand is very likely to win this match.  Although New Zealand's game was delayed due to rain, they played very well. So it seems that both teams will be 1/1 winning New Zealand to win the second test match. And going into the third match, the winning difference between these two teams will be seen
op you are correct. Bangladesh's opening pair should have put on a 100-run partnership for now. In the first innings, Bangladesh was all out for just 172 runs. But in that match, Bangladesh could stop New Zealand for just 183 runs by doing amazing bowling. Of course, Bangladesh now have to give New Zealand a big lead if they want to win this Test series. As Bangladesh lost two important wickets Mahmudul Hasan and Shanto for 38 runs. Zakir Hasan and Mominul of Bangladesh these two batsmen are batting. Of course, Zakir Hasan and Mominul have to bat very responsibly. New Zealand has to give a target of 270 runs or 300 runs for now. Then maybe Bangladesh can win the second test series. Best wishes for Bangladesh team.

I am disappointed to see this bad situation in New Zealand.
They are not playing in New Zealand. They are playing in Bangladesh. It's home series for Bangladesh.

I am sure you are not a cricketer at all. All i can assume is it's because of your bad English. My English is bad too. But I believe people understand what I am talking about. I would suggest you to use Grammarly or a similar tools to improve your writing. So, you don't get another spammer tag for poor English.

I though New Zealand won't be able to score hundred runs. But Phillips changed everything. He played an exceptional innings.

I am disappointed to see this bad situation in New Zealand. I did not even think that I would play so badly with a team like New Zealand-Bangladesh. Anyway good luck to the Bangladesh team. Mirpur is an ideal field for spinners of the Bangladesh team.
Basically, the reason for such bad batting performance of the New Zealand team is the peace of Mirpur Stadium. Where batsmen struggle to bat and spinners get most of the wickets as the piece is currently in the hands of the spinners. Moreover, playing in Bangladesh's field, Bangladesh played a good team against New Zealand and they have experience, that's why they won the first Test match against New Zealand. However, the second test match is not expected to be very good between the two teams so it is difficult to say which team will win the second test. Bangladesh and New Zealand are getting bowled out with neither team doing much, wickets falling more than runs.

Both the teams are struggling with the bat so I would blame the host more than the visitors because the condition is alien for them so they are struggling but why the home team is struggling too and scored less than the visitors. Still the game can go either side and with the quality I still bet on NZ and they are known to make comebacks from crisis situations.

The weather forecast says that there is zero chance of rain for the next 2 days. So we need to calculate whether Bangaldesh will get enough time to bowl out New Zealand or not. Theoretically around 180 overs remain in this match. If Bangladesh can add another 150 runs in the next 30 overs, then they can take the lead to 180. And then they will get 150 overs to bowl out New Zealand, which is more than enough. But then the risk factor is not rain, but bad light. If overs are lost tomorrow as well, then it becomes complicated.
There is virtually no chance of 180 overs. In the first test, on average we lost 8 overs every day so it's a good baseline in a bad light scenario. More overs will be lost if the situation remains the same as today's gameplay. Let's say we lose 60 overs, given its bowling deck and pitch is expected to misbehave or explode in a 4th-5th day. I think we'll have a result even if it becomes a 120-over match.

The reason I am expecting a result in 120 overs is because New Zealand and Bangladesh played just 37 and 66 overs in their respective first innings. So their 2nd innings won't be much different as no one is playing defensively.

New Zealand bounced back pretty nicely thanks to Phillips when they were 95/7 at one point while Bangladesh would be regretting not removing him quicker since they could have given them a decent lead.

Bangladesh are in danger here and need to score at least something close to 180-200 in order to ensure their win in this match.

I don't think 180 overs will be bowled in this match but it won't take long with the current batting scenario and I don't think it is easy to score 150 more by Bangladesh too and if they can then they can take all the time they want because even the last day is enough to take 10 wickets at such pitches.

Bad light might play a role in this match's result. We don't have to worry about the 180 overs, as the game will be over before this number. Bangladesh is already 2 down, and the way the wicket is behaving, I think anything above 150 will be a par score here considering New Zealand have to bat on this spinning track in the 4th innings.
The only thing that can save New Zealand in this match is the attacking cricket, both with the ball and bat. I really appreciate the effort of Glenn Phillips. I think New Zealand batters should play like him on this surface if they want to win the match.

Bangladesh lost their first wicket by 3 runs and their second wicket by 38 runs. The match has now been stopped due to lack of light. Perhaps the Bangladesh team will not get a chance to bat again today. I don't expect a good performance from Bangladesh's top order.
