There is nothing about the poor batting and excellent bowling in this test match. It is the condition of the pitch which is helping the spin bowlers to get the wickets easily. The 'Shere Bangla National Stadium' may receive demerit points if the pitch conditions remain same until the end of the match. 15 wickets have fallen in the day 1, where the spinners took 13 of them.Now I am expecting tomorrow in early session Bangladesh will have all Kiwi wickets and then if they are able to add 150+ runs this could be good for them because 250 could be match winning score for them and pitch is not going to have any change as well with quality Bangladeshi spinners will go through for their historic win against New Zealand in this series.

We were thinking that giving captaincy to unexperience player is bad decision but today Shan Masood proved that he is the right choice.. He rotating strike very comfortably which is impressive from 34 years player. Babar Azam , Abdullah Shafique and Sarfaraz also played well..
Everyone at least made average runs without Shan Masood, because he made extraordinary runs, which is good for the Pakistan team because these runs help them in the future, which means after 2 or 4 days later in this test match, these runs had many priority these runs may help Pakistan to win this match. Pakistan better really played very well.

Bangladesh were all out for 172 in the first innings but got off to a worse start than New Zealand-Bangladesh and fell by 5 for 55. New Zealand's top order has 5 batsmen out and they are very likely to collect 150 runs. If Bangladesh can give a target of 250 runs in the second innings, then Bangladesh will have a chance to win. But one thing to say is that the spinners of Bangladesh are bowling much more efficiently and controlled than the spinners of New Zealand.
Forget about 150. I would be surprised if they even make 100. New Zealand batsmen has this difficulty on spinning tracks for sometime now and it continues to this date. And knowing this very well, Bangladesh prepared a minefield with uneven bounce and rough turn. And once they lost the toss, it was all over for New Zealand. Being one of the top test sides, batting in unfamiliar conditions is not a valid excuse for New Zealand for their pathetic performance with the bat, especially since it is being repeated again and again.

The first day is over between the Pakistan and Australian Prime Minister team and in this, and I hardly believe on my eyes on Shan Masood's batting, he made 156 runs in 235 balls, he is a wonderful player in this innings,.

Today's day of the test has came to an end, and if we start to talk about Babar Azam in this match so Babar Azam has average performance, not good too much and not bad, it's average.
Babar Azam lost his wicket when around 52 overs were passed. He played well, and we see some fours by him in today's match, the exact amount of fours is 5 by him. Babar Azam lost his wicket by the pace of Jordan Buckingham. He is a very good bowler but he doesn't get more chances to play with Australia. Pakistan batsmen made a good score.

As the game is on Bangladesh's soil, Bangladesh can score after three days and have a chance to win against the Kiwis. But in today's match, however, the spinners' achievement and skill was outstanding, the few dismissals that came out were nice to see. Bangladesh has given a target of 172 runs and I think it will be very difficult for New Zealand to achieve this target, but if we see the results after three days, it can definitely say that the chances of Bangladesh winning are high.
I don't accept this kind of performance from NewZealand team they lost 55/5 at end of day one test match. Bangladesh back in the match after very low target of 172 runs all out. Mehidy Hasan shines from Bangladesh took 3 wickets 3/17 and Taijul Islam excellent bowling spell took 2 wickets. Bangladesh is using the home advantage to use. Last time when New Zealand toured Bangladesh, they did the same thing and won the test series. The outcome is going to get repeated this time as well. That said, I am not sure whether this is the right strategy. It may help Bangladesh with some short term gains. But there are two risk factors. First of all, such strategies are not going to help them when they play against stronger teams such as Australia and India. And secondly, when they play in SENA conditions, they are going to get whacked badly.

But meanwhile New Zealand team players are seeing more wicket fall. If the Bangladesh team can perform like this bowling performance against New Zealand then they can surely ensure victory.

For a moment I thought that New Zealand maybe having a chance in this test match. They bowled out Bangladesh for 172 and had them at 135/7 at one point. But in return, the Bangladeshi spin duo of Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz just destroyed them. They are reeling at 55/5 and I am not sure whether they will be able to reach triple digits. None of the New Zealand batsmen could handle Bangladeshi spin bowling and their highest total till now is 13 from Kane Williamson. I agree that it was a minefield. But if New Zealand is bowled out for double digits, then it actually exposes the brittleness in their batting.

The second Test match between Bangladesh and New Zealand is being played in Dhaka and Dhaka is starting to show its true form. The first Test match in Sylhet ended well and I was looking forward to the result of the Dhaka Test and thought the Dhaka Test wicket would be very bad. As I thought, the wicket is really bad and the wicket that has been made is not a Test batting wicket at all. The wicket that Bangladesh produced against New Zealand will actually do the opposite for Bangladesh in bilateral away series. The first Test was a beautiful game and Bangladesh definitely fought back to win but the result in the Dhaka Test is not because of the performance of the players but because of the curator's wicket making.
Bangladesh performance disappointed me. I was thinking that they will make 300+ runs. But they only made 172 runs in and all team got out.But if you take a look on the performance of the Bangladesh team in bowling line so I will appreciate the Bangali Bowlers. The wait is finally over and another test series is coming, tomorrow is the tour match and after that match the real series will be started and we all are excited about it. The Pakistan test series has come after such a long time, and i hope to see some close matches.
Tomorrow is the first match of the Pakistan with Australia test, actually, it is not the first this is a tour match so this match doesn't have a link with the series, this match is like a warm-up match.
Anyway, this is the first test match of Shan Masood as captain of the Pakistan team, and recently Shan Masood said in a press conference that we are going with the replacement of Rizwan so let's see if he stays with his decision. I think this is a good decision because recently Sarfraz played very well in the National Cup, but on the other hand Rizwan is also a main player so let's see what happens in tomorrow's match.

Taijul Islam and Miraz are ripping apart the NZ batting line-up at the moment. Phillips and Mitchell are their last proper batsmen and am expecting the Kiwis to trail Bangladesh after the first innings.
Miraz seems to be the next Shakib in my opinion since he is an amazing all-rounder.
