Definitely a tremendous balling by Australians Mitchell Starc 3 wickets Nathan Lyon 3 wickets . This first innings is totally for Australia as they'll chase this easily .
It should be a bowling friendly track which means you cannot expect high scores. Australia just lost their first wicket (Warner) for duck hence you can expect a close encounter throughout this test match. Still, I assume chasing a small total like less than 200 runs in forth inning would be easier for Australia and at the same time if they need to chase anything beyond 280 then the chances are belonging to South Africa.South Africa is in deep shit. They are at 139/8, with Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada at crease.
They managed to cross 150 runs. I am expecting a low score thriller out of this first match of between these two strong bowling attach teams. So, 150 runs on first innings seems like competitive in my eyes.

Anyone watching the South Africa vs Australia test match at Brisbane? South Africa is in deep shit. They are at 139/8, with Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada at crease. Only Verreynne and Bavuma managed to score above 10 runs. Mitchell Starc took 3 wickets so far, and Scott Boland is just having a dream run in this test as well. So far he has picked up 2 wickets, to keep his test bowling average hovering around the 10.00 mark. And now Nathan Lyon has joined the party, by picking up two quick wickets (including that of Kyle Verreynne).
Australia vs South Africa 1st test match South Africa all out on 152 runs , only Kyle Verreynne made some reasonable runs 64. All the other batsman couldn't score any runs . They did impress many people primarily thanks to Miraz in the ODI matches. On the other hand, they are playing like crap in the ongoing test series while India is decimating them in order to stay in the hunt for the second spot in the WTC table.Also, I'm glad to see proper results instead of rain screwing both teams which was such a major annoyance in recent times.

I suppose Ebadot Hossain struggling with his back and Shakib still has not recovered from his ODI rib injury (Courtesy Umran Malik), he only bowled 12 overs in this match and he's the key bowler for Bongs.
The whole team has run out of carrots. Test cricket is not that easy for bowlers. They need to be fit, should be ready to experiment and apply different strategies. Shubman Gill is a batter that I have adored for sometime now. This young talented player in my opinion has a great future in both test and ODI format. He is that kind of batter who will take time settle but once he is settled he is unstoppable.
India has dominated the entire test match and I am pretty much confident that the Indian bowlers will take down Bangladesh bowlers with ease tomorrow.
Gill is an exciting prospect, although his batting technique is more suited for SENA countries but really happy he finally got his maiden test ton in the subcontinent. Poor guy missed one in Aus, hope his desi dad won't complain about the missed opportunity of Gabba anymore lol.

Yeah, there is no way Bangladesh is going to be able to win this test match. I think Bangladesh should have planned like this. They should have tried to control the flow of runs. Bangladesh should have kept the run rate of India very low. So that by the time India could have got a significant score on the board, it would have already been the last session of the fourth day. And Bangladesh could have had a chance to draw the Test match.
But now there is no chance of that happening. India leads by more than 500 runs right now. The chances of Bangladesh being able to score that many points are slim to none. The only chance for Bangladesh is to not get out and somehow try to draw the test match. And honestly, a draw is even out of reach for Bangladesh.

India were bowled out for 404 runs in the first innings of the Bangladesh vs India Test. Later, when Bangladesh started batting, Bangladesh lost eight wickets for 102 runs in response to the Indian bowlers. And the next day, after completing the second innings of 133 runs, Bangladesh collected 150 runs when more wickets fell. Bangladesh lost to India by a huge margin.

Bangladesh batting was a disaster in 1st innings all out on 150 runs not a single batsman made any runs . Now India is batting again and are on 231 runs 2 wickets gone.
Ayways this 1st test match is very much on Indian side as they performed good somehow atleast better than Bangladesh.

So far it looks like India is playing this game on easy mode, expect 30 mins of 1st inning when they were 3 down for 40-ish something.
Bangbros as a team not trouble them at all and atm the Indian batters are taking this as batting practice, well plenty of time in this test so they have a luxury atm.
FYI this is the same ground where the Windies chased down a mammoth 390-ish target in the 4th inning.
