I am still hoping good for the Indian A team because this is the pitch of Melbourne and some days before there was the match between Pakistan and Australia in which both teams were facing problems in batting because the pitch is totally made for bowling and now the pitch is exactly behaving or set whatever you would like to say as in Pakistan match.

Both the Indian batting line and the bowling line are good but they are really sad for them on their home ground against New Zealand. Moreover, they have not won a single match out of the three matches, which is surprising, but they have lost at home. Here I will say that the problem in India was mainly the bowling problem, due to which the New Zealand team had a good bowling line, due to which India was able to easily control them. India was not able to meet the small target in the 3rd Test match, which is even more painful for them. Basically, I think this match was unfortunate for India and fortunate for New Zealand. Yes India loss in Test series at home was surprising. They have strong team that can bat well but they struggled against New Zealand. Losing three matches in row on their own soil is unexpected. New Zealand is strong team in many formats including Test cricket. However India performance was disappointing. In third match India had many chances to win but did not take them. If they had batted more aggressively like in T20 cricket they might have won. The target was small but India cautious approach led to defeat.

Not only the Indian national team but also their A team is struggling in batting these days. We have the 2nd and the final unofficial test match between India A and Australia A today. In this match, they have again failed in the batting and have made only 138 runs with 8 wickets down. They lost the previous test match too when they made only 107 runs in the first innings and today also they were having a hard time batting first. I think they would have preferred to bat in the second but it was Australia A who chose to field first.

Where everyone failed in batting today, it is only Dhruv Jurel who is batting at 77 and is still playing. I doubt if he can complete his century as he is short of partners. Only two wickets are left.

Yes you are right Rishabh Pant batting style was very aggressive but it did not look like he was comfortable. He tried to hit every ball as far as possible depending on luck instead of playing carefully. Even though he managed to stay in for 57 balls it was clear he was struggling. Condition of pitch was not good enough for international cricket. It helped spin bowlers too much. Usually this would help India but surprisingly Mitchell Santner and Axar Patel used spin to India disadvantage. Pant batting plan and pitch conditions together led to unexpected result.

Yes ,you are right. Pant was the only person who played well from Indian side . He played well in both innings and made half centuries in both innings. Shubman Gill played excellent in first inning and he made 90 runs which made made some interesting but after that Indian bowlers could not perform well and also Indian team did not play well in second inning and all team out by making only 121 runs. Rishab Pant made 60 runs in 59 balls and Sunder made 38 runs in 36 balls . But performance of all team of India was poor in second inning except Pant.Virat Kohli made only 5 runs in two innings of this match and Indian fans had great expectations from that player and that player will do well in next matches,that is expected.
