If countries like West Indies, Bangladesh etc could play better we would see more audience seeing the Big three playing with them also you will get more sponsors and ads. When you know it will be a one sided series, who will be dump to put money on sponsorships and marketing? I do not understand why ICC does not develop this business oriented sense Huh

14 teams divided into 2 divisions sounds good for me. It would mean West Indies and Bangladesh getting demoted to the second division, and also Scotland and Netherlands getting test status. And it makes sense. If Ireland can be a full member nation, then I don't know why Scotland and Netherlands are not being awarded the same. Strength of these three teams are almost at the same level, and under the current setup Ireland receives 60x more funding when compared to either of the other teams.

You are right. Pakistan International test cricket team could not perform well in the second test and now Saim Ayub is out of the game because he is injured and he is out in the next series but there will be decision that he will play champions trophy or not because doctors will judge the injury they will guide about rest of Saim Ayub. I think he got serious injury and he will be away from game for 6 months. That is very big loss for Pakistan team because Pakistani team opener is injured and now I think Fakhar Zaman will be in the team and we will take charge in the next series against West Indies . That is decision of God and nobody can change it and we will see Fakhar in the replacement of Saim in the next matches.

T20I leagues can not compare to the ODI format. T20I WC being frequent and leagues being plenty have already lost their charm while ODI is OG format of the game, and it's world cup is considered prestigious title amongst all formats.

Yes, it is true that a strong cricket organization is needed that will not accept any request or any order from anyone. They will follow their own laws. There will be no biased behavior. If such an independent cricket organization is formed, then everything will change in the cricket field. We did not see this before, but in recent times, cricket is also being used as a political tool. But if we look at football organizations, there is no chance of such a situation. There, justice is definitely given priority in taking decisions on any issue. If the ICC can take a strong position that will be good for the cricket world.

The rarer a thing is, more valuable it is; you do it frequent, and it loses it's meaning. The less serieses are held between AUS/IND/ENG more prestigious they will stay. So, I am not in favor of this proposal and hopefully this won't come into fruition.

Fact is that test cricket popularity has been waning over the years thanks to the rise of T20 and T10 leagues globally which is why I am in favor of this proposal. This division helps in several ways basically.

It's a double edged sword proposal for sure, but I feel that the pros outweigh the cons which is why I fully support it.

Well, even with a single match won and a test match drawn, there is nothing to talk about the Zimbabwe performance. What everyone will be looking at over the years is that Zimbabwe lost the ODI, T20 and a Test series on their home ground. I would call it an hamulating defeat and Zimbabwe are going down as a cricket nation and I don't see any sign of recovery with this performance. Zimbabwe had the poorest of batting performances throughout the series, however I still can't believe how Sean Williams, Brian Bennett and Craig Ervine all made a century in the first test first innings.

Yeah, it's test cricket. Most players, if not all, have to perform to win a test match. However, in a short format like T20I, a single player can change the game. Pakistan is known for its unpredictable performance. Sometimes, they play too well against stronger teams, and sometimes, they show their weak sides. The whole team has to perform to win a test match.

As you know, the world's best player can have a bad day in cricket. Even players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been struggling for test runs. It is just a bad day when most players from a single team cannot perform. This happened to team India as well and they lost the test series as a result. So, Pakistani fans should not be disappointed about it. Hope for the best.

But IMO, this is a step in the right direction. No one wants to watch a match between Australia or West Indies, or for that matter one between India and Bangladesh. A first division consisting of 6 teams would make sure that there are few lop-sided matches.

But IMO, this is a step in the right direction. No one wants to watch a match between Australia or West Indies, or for that matter one between India and Bangladesh. A first division consisting of 6 teams would make sure that there are few lop-sided matches.

The first match was drawn becasue nethier team was able to decide how to play the test matches and both teams contains new players, that is why no result but then in the next match, they understood how to play the match and Afghanistan achived wonderful win.

Yes at a moment Zimbabwe were rising but they cannot do anything beacsue Afghanistan had an advantage that they have two experienced and good players named Rashid Khan who dominated Zimbabwe in bowling and also was the player of the match while Rehmat dominated them in batting by scoring a century.
