@suchmoon - you mentioned something about Rodgers wanting more money and I want to say you kind of hinted towards it being a bit selfish..I think I actually defended him a bit in that regard but you were dead on.  Him being okay with letting Adams be traded, since they didn't have the money to keep him long term, really does show a lot about Rodgers greediness, willing to let the best WR in the game go like that.

Yes, I do consider him to be greedy, or at least more greedy than other top QBs when it comes to making money vs building the team.

I'm not sure what's the management's angle on this. Why pay so much for a QB who's on the way to retirement, instead of rebuilding the team. Jordan Love must be loving this, if you excuse my lame pun.

Massage Watson might be innocent? Why does want to go to trial? This might cause him to pay more for his lawyer's fee hehe. Also, will Tyreek Hill miss Patrick Mahomes or Patrick Mahomes miss Tyreek Hill? awho got scammed in this trade? NFL experts, was this a good trade? Tyreek Hill traded for 5 draft picks?

I speculate Tyreek Hill might be lower in fantasy points for 2022 compared to 2021 because of the Dolphin's quarterback.

Hill will miss Mahomes more, but this is an absolutely devastating loss for Mahomes and the Chiefs.  In my opinion this move cancelled out there chance to win a Super Bowl.  Despite disliking Tyreek as I believe him to be a scumbag, the was essential to the Chiefs deadly offense.  Right now Mahomes best WR is JuJu, that's not good.  ( of course they still have Kelce, who's essentially a receiver out of the TE position).

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
This is only one of the articles written about Massage Watson. There are many more criticizing the Browns and the retelling of Deshaun Watson's massage escapades hehehe. It appears Deshaun Watson should tell his lawyer that they should start bribing those girls and use 1 year of his salary.

In any case, would the Cleveland Browns fans accept him? I reckon Atlanta might because Watson is from a town in Georgia.
It has been some time since I have read about the case but it seems the reason this has not happened is because Watson does not want to pay, for some reason he seems to want things to stand still or to go to trial, I am not a lawyer or anything but while numbers can create strength they can also create weakness, as long as their lawyers could prove that one of the cases is false then this immediately calls into question the other accusers, and he could be able to get away with this using that strategy.

And in other news it seems the Chiefs have traded Tyreek Hill to the Dolphins.

Browns' acquisition of Deshaun Watson proves one thing: There's no bottom for the NFL

The member teams of the NFL are morally bankrupt.

They were yesterday. They are today. They will be tomorrow.

Friday's Deshaun Watson-Cleveland Browns news was only the latest confirmation.

Still facing 22 civil suits for sexual misconduct after a grand jury did not find cause to charge him criminally, and having not played in over a year, Watson and his agent David Mulugheta engaged in a disgusting game of "The NFL Bachelor," telling teams to make their pitches and then slowly letting finalists know who was still in the running for the final rose.

The wilted, thorn-covered rose.

After once telling the Browns they weren't pretty enough, Cleveland got a lot more attractive when it offered the thing everything almost always comes down to: money. The Browns committed to a five-year, fully guaranteed contract that included a raise, and suddenly they became the apple of Watson's eye.

Lol, at least Rodgers got his money, his contract is signed.  Cheesy

There's a rumor that Adams chose to go elsewhere even though Packers were offering the same money. Kinda interesting reflection on Rodgers if this is true. #1 WR doesn't want to play with a $50m QB Shocked

Yeah there definitely was something going on for him to split like that if the money was the same.  Why would you want o go to the afc west right now too.  That division is stacked right now.  His best chance was to stay with green Bay.  Who knows what happens between closed doors.

No way the Chargers are not at least 11/12 wins team next season with that defense: Bosa, Derwin James and the new signings Mack and JC Jackson.  Shocked

Lots of interesting moves around the NFL today, but it's funny what the Cowboys decided to do with their receivers. They traded Amari Cooper to Cleveland for a fifth-round pick, but gave Gallup a $62.5 million contract despite the fact that he played six fewer games than Cooper last year, had 400 fewer receiving yards, and 2 TDs to Amari's 8TDs.

Agreed! This is very good news after witnessing the Chargers lose their final regular season game because of their weaknesses in their defense. Justin Herbert certainly deserved more after that type of performance. Herbert was also my planned first choice quarterback for our next draft, however, with the goat Brady coming back from his fake retirement, it appears that I might choose him again first before any quarterback hehe.

Yeah the Chargers are going to be a force to reckon with for years to come.  Justin Herbert is one hell of a quarterback. They are pretty stacked all around on offense.  It's amazing how there are so many good newer quarterbacks in the league but of course my Chicago Bears select a guy who looks like crap lol.  I guess I need to give him time to get adjusted (and under a better coach) but I sure wish we had Herbert.  I could definitely see a deep run by the Chargers this coming year.

I reckon the Chargers should take good care of him and they should not treat him like they have done to Philip Rivers. According to some articles Philip Rivers had the talent to become a champion, however, he was not in the right team. This man has spent his younger football years to become a loser. Where is the picture with his many children hehehehehee.

Yeah they will be locking Herbert up with a massive contract.  The afc is loaded with good qb play.  Good time to be a fan of an nfc team, now even Jax spending like crazy to put together a good team.  God forbid TL becomes as good as these qbs.  The next 10 years is going to be fun to watch.  Fantasy football dream here lol.

I forgot about the Jaguars. I was very naive about them. I thought their no.1 pick quarterback would take them to the playoffs and there was also the tight end for marketing before the season. It was a very good strategy for fund raising.

We might have also forgotten about Massage Watson. My prediction, he will go to the Atlanta Falcons where he will be accepted whatever type of person the news media has denounced him to be heheehe.

The Cleveland Browns were informed Thursday that they are no longer in the running to land Deshaun Watson in a trade with the Houston Texans, a team source told ESPN.

Browns officials met with Watson on Tuesday in Houston and attempted to persuade the quarterback to waive his no-trade clause to play for them. But Watson instead eliminated the Browns from contention, leaving the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons as the remaining known contenders for Watson.

This year's AFC West has to be the most stacked division in the history of football, right?

22' free agency has been bonkers so far, i may need an extra month to prepare for the upcoming fantasy season. What is happening...? Shocked

Brady the goat is back as predicted hehehe. He is not playing in San Francisco as speculated, however. That would have created a more exciting preseason trade and another exciting situation on the beginning of the regular season on September. We cannot have everything hehe.

In any case, Brady will certainly be in my draft list again on our next fantasy football. When are we going to begin this?

These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG

Lol he's already tired of being non rostered.  I wonder what the change in odds is post announcement.  Wish I made a bet on them after he first announced.  Well as a giant fan it makes no difference whose on top 😂

Lol yeah I sure as shit wish I had put money down on Brady too. Not just winning the super bowl bud to win the division and conference. Did you see how there was as sports book who took some big bets, unusual bets on the Bucs and they believe it was insider info ..

“There’s not a doubt in my mind that they knew he was coming back when they placed those wagers on Thursday,” Kornegay said. “And these were not casual bettors. They would be categorized as educated bettors. It wasn’t a guy with a Tom Brady jersey at the counter. It was a player that we would describe as sharp. With that type of play and the announcement we heard (Sunday) that he was unretiring, there was information that was shared prior to his official announcement”.

“There is no doubt in my mind that information leaked sometime in the middle of last week. This is concerning. I don’t think I’ve ever said the NFL really needs to investigate something. But this is something they need to look into and how it got out, because there are many books that took some sizable wagers in the middle of last week.”

Odds went from 50- down to 4-1 in a swoop of a decision.  Weirdly enough a couple huge bets came in on the bucs in the days leading up to the decision Brady made...like days.  Vegas said these weren't their regulars either.  Too odd to be true.  Why wouldn't these momos spread out their action, they will be looked at hard core if those bets come through

I guess the only thing that may be a decent excuse for these people is all the action that’s been going on the last few days. In guess it was free agency that opened up or something ? They could argue they just figured if he was going to sign it would be then, as to not hold the team up for other. Let’s say people were told by Brady or indirectly by his manager or something, if they can even prove it, they then will negate the bets huh ?

The article went on to say they were very out of the ordinary.  Bucs made no free agent splash that would merit the bets.  I don't even think they had a quarterback in mind yet.  Pretty ballsy going 10k deep on a team with no qb.

With being said if they can tie the individual back to an insider in bradys group or Brady himself it could come back to bite Brady.  There is now a multimillion liability on the sportsbooks with the bucs.  The flurry of huge bets coinciding with his announcement is too shady for me to believe.

But he'll if I was Brady angers, 2nd cousins boyfriend who caught win of that, I'd book the first flight I could to vegas too lol.

I have been kind of disconnected from the NFL after the SB so I am surprised by what has been happening since I last read anything about the NFL, but Brady coming back is not a surprise, the fact he left the door open from the very beginning was very telling about his true intentions.

And about the new FF league, we have a lot of time to get to an agreement about the new rules, I think at the soonest more serious talks could begin after the draft, which will take place from April 28 to April 30.
