Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Oh and I just noticed, next week I have 3 players with a BYE, now one is already out so unless Gronk can play next week I will have 6 players out if I do not do anything about it.

Yeah I noticed week 6 is going to be an issue for me but I have been going through guys so fast I figured I probally won't have the same team by then! Grin

So... I'm doin it. I'm locking up the Bills to cover, and its not just to justify my decision to bench Mahomes for the week. My record is 0-3 for the year so take it with a grain of salt, or as a reverse barometer.

You got m0ar ballz than me! GL man Smiley

I'm having a hard time finding a reason not to take the Bills +3 tomorrow, their defense has been outstanding and KC seems to be slowing down on both sides of the ball. It is a home game for the Chiefs, however. Bills are 3-1 vs the spread and have the most points against the spread of any team whereas the Chiefs are 1-3.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
if I had not done so I have doubts I could even fill all the spots on my line up.

And this is in a 8 team league!!!

we need M0ar IR spots! Cheesy
You made me chuckle, I was hesitant to take a look at my roster as I knew what was coming but I did so today and it was as bad as I thought, 4 players out, I know you are not doing that well yourself either as many players are injured on your roster too, but it is still funny to think how FF can change so quickly, last week I was hoping to grab a sleeper WR, but now? I would love more IR spots.

Yeah week 5 in football all the injuries piling up, byes coming in.  Here we go!  Fasten up.  Honestly most teams throw those injury reports down as a caution.  Look at whether or not they practiced full on Thursday and Friday.  If they are held up out of the practices all week then you really have a questionable going into the game.  I barely look until Saturday. (Except for the Thursday night team guys)
Yeah I am realizing this is where the true season really starts, right now the cows are the most injured team on the league, I have two players out, one doubtful which most likely will not play, three questionable with one of them being Russell Wilson which may need surgery on his finger, and all of them are my starters, and all of this after Edwards had a season ending injury before taking a single snap and I dropped two receivers this week, one was on IR and the other will most likely not play this week either and I did so in a weak attempt to get healthier, if I had not done so I have doubts I could even fill all the spots on my line up.

Alright, this is a must win game for my team, so I'm going bold this week and benching my Kansas City offense in favor of the Chargers. I think Herbert is about to blow up in points whereas Mahomes could very well be shut down. We'll see. Meanwhile Mike Williams has been coming out of nowhere with points for me so I've moved him up to my full-time FLEX position.

Edit: What a game! If you didn't see the crazy double-kick play by Seattle, you'll see it in the highlight reels for some time to come. Go Rams!

Made a few bucks off Wheelz in the game last night and also placed a small wager on Bovada..was feeling the Rams since they've been killing it lately and Seattle has been struggling and especially expected them to struggle without starting RB Chris Carson.

Was also nice that Robert Woods had himself a nice game, drafting him as high as I did, he certainly had been underperforming so far. Nice to see Stafford light him up w/targets.

So I'm curious who you guys think is the best team in football right now?  Before the start of the season I was sold on both Kansas City and Tampa Bay.  Now after seeing KC already lose a couple games and Tampa look not quite as good as last year ( it is still early ) I'm thinking I'm changing my mind a bit.  Personally I think Buffalo wins the Super Bowl this year..at least my prediction as of right now.  What do you guys think?
On the NFC I still think Tampa Bay is the best team, their defense is suffering a lot of injuries and the play calling of the coaches is not helping them, they are scoring too quickly which means their defense is really tired at the end of the game, it seems that Brady is going to have to remind them that scoring a touchdown while killing clock is a good option too, but I really think they are going to improve on all of those aspects and they are going to get really good at the end of the season.

On the AFC things are a little bit more complicated, but I'll agree with you and I think the Bills is the best team, the Chiefs have the same problems that Tampa Bay have but the difference is that I do not really think the defense of the Chiefs is going to get any better, Mahomes needs to score at least 30 points per game if they want to win, and when I look at the Bills they look way more balanced, so the game they are having this week is going to be critical and it is probably going to be the difference between playing at home or not.

Until they are knocked off I agree those are still the teams to beat.  17 games is a long nfl season, health plays a factor down the stretched, but if each team has all of their weapons would you bet against them?  Bills vs KC in a pick em, would be extremely hard betting against mahomes.  And I will never bet against Brady ever...ever.

Good game we have going on tonight!  Seattle has been playing a bit so so of late, but they still are a very good/dangerous team and I expect them to come out swinging.  The Rams of course have been on an absolute roll and look pretty amazing with Matthew Stafford under center.  It's just too bad the game is in Seattle (hardest place for road team to play at) I love seeing that SoFi stadium the Rams play in.
Yep hoping this one doesn't disappoint.  Looking for a shootout with Carson out let russ cook!.  Think I'm gonna hit the over in this game and root against the games defense instead of sweating it out by team.  37-27 *somebody wins*

^^ This will be an important match for both Seattle and the Rams. Los Angeles is currently going 3-1 and the Seahawks are 2-2 and both will be giving their best in this match to catch up to the leaders Arizona who are going 4-0. Though the Rams have dominated, the Seahawks winning 6 of the last 8 games since the year 2017 but Los Angeles has won 3 matches out of the last 5 ones played in Seattle. Hoping for a great entertaining match.

Agreed, it might be Josh Allen’s season. I also like the Baltimore Ravens. Lamar after some seasons might begin to play in the playoffs like he plays in the regular season hehehe. He is also my regular season MVP for this year.

I am presently waiting for Stephen A. Smith’s analysis for this game week hehehehehe.

Look on the bright side - Barkley is questionable too. And let's face it, if CMC is not playing, you would likely lose no matter what you do because DJ Moore (this prophesy may or may not be based on a true story).

Hah, I hadn't even checked out Taco's lineup until just now. For some reason ESPN is giving me a blank page when I goto the boxscores.

Yeah, hopefully Donald will cancel out Moore for me, Moore has been on fire since CMC's injury!

Early on.  I'm still thinking KC will get it together but I will tell you they are going to have their issues with the chargers.  Next couple years if they can add a couple pieces they will be dangerous.  So odds right now for KC are even looking better.  And for the NFL cmon chi....Giants ofc.
