I find myself rooting for Jaguars today. They don't really need to win but 20+ points and 300+ yards would be nice.

Except Robinson. Don't give him any more balls please.

Edit: it's quite funny how Bengals were careful to leave less time for a rookie QB than 49ers against Rodgers.

Anyway, congrats to morvillz7z, you hedged your roster very well.

I wouldn't bet an under on a prime time game.

Alright so I'm a fat 0 and 2 for my picks this year but let's see if we can change things up early this week as I'm feeling mediumly confident about this one.

Today I'm taking the Bengals at -7.5 over the Jags. Bengals are likely out a few key players but its a home game for them and the Jags are looking just awful this year.

I placed my bet before listening to this week's Around the NFL podcast in which the hosts (Dan Hanzaus, Gregg Rosenthal) give some really thorough analysis and good picks to boot. The memory on those guys is pretty amazing, they are like walking encyclopedias of NFL player stats. Let alone remembering what happened in every game last week...

Might hit the under and a bet on Cincy spread to hedge against an offensive explosion.  Anyone with thoughts?  Can't decide lol.

Under sounds right to me.

Trying to figure out this game tonight.  Cindy favored by 7.5.  Seems high but then again Jags don't seem like they will be able to keep up with the Cindy offense in this one.  Might hit the under and a bet on Cincy spread to hedge against an offensive explosion.  Anyone with thoughts?  Can't decide lol.

Isn't it getting close to Cooper Kupp out for season time?

Don't you dare.  Take it back lol.  I have him in another league of mine and he be killing it.  I had cupp and Mike Williams later to go with some top backs so looking good in that league.  Wr is thin otherwise so I need Mr cupp to place nice the whole season plz.

Maybe just wishful thinking on my part! I'm probably jealous because my teams are walking wounded!

Misery loves company, rite?

I don't wish anyone any harm, but I wouldn't mind him being out for the two games against the 9ers.  I'm still not sure if the Rams are a fluke this year, or they really are as good as they've looked the last couple of games. We'll see as the conference games get going.

Did you post a picture of this buffoons face just to try and anger Hueristic and I?!  Cheesy

All I see is this:

Agreed I can't stand listening to him yell at the TV.  Half the nonsense that comes out of his mouth is either wrong or without any thought behind it.  Dude thinks if he yells loud that means he is right.  Don't know how he became one of the faces of espn. Smh

LOL, that is the way I see him most of the time, we all understand that any TV show wants ratings and all of that, but when the arguments are completely scripted and you can almost guess word by word what they will say before they even begin to discuss the topic at hand then there is no reason to watch it, now if some humor was mixed in maybe it could be tolerable but the dude is insufferable.

I prefer to watch some real football analysis on YouTube without all the drama and without the dude bursting my eardrums every five seconds.

Ugh dude don't even mention that mans name please lol.  I drafted Kupp pretty high last year and he was a complete bust.  I was so mad that I didn't draft Robert Woods all year.  Come this years draft I was really high on Robert Woods, and kinda liked Kupp but drafted Woods in a couple of my leagues...now it's Woods who sucks and Kupp who's absolutely killing it  Roll Eyes  Driving me nuts!

Same here, not sure why Stafford hates Woods. Even his one touchdown in the end zone wasn't thrown to him, he made a massive move and grabbed it.  But Kupp always gets hurt and that is why I grabbed Woods in all my leagues, He will pan out and hopefully its before the point where I can't come back! Cheesy

I was wondering the same thing myself..why does Stafford not try and get the ball to Woods more often.  It's not like he sucks, and it's not like Kupp is that much better of a receiver.  I just can't figure it out.  I guess it's a bit of a lesson learned, be careful with a WRs past work when getting a new QB..none of it is promised going forward.

@suchmoon. Thank you for the offer but I have already I added Tim Patrick of Denver. He was the first name in the list that was familiar to me hehe. Stephen A. Smith said he will be performing much better versus Baltimore. I expect to earn double digits from him.

Does this make me the lowest score of the week?

That would be the conclusion, yes Smiley

Help me choose a player. I need 2 wide receivers hehe. Also, the Patriots vs. the Buccaneers on the next game week.

Choosing from your bench or the free agents? There is no one available that's much better than what you already have. Maybe get some temporary backup in case Higgins is out.

Edit: Higgins is in fact not playing tomorrow. So you probably want to move him to IR. And if you want Tyler Boyd - let me know, I can hand him over. At least I hope I can, not sure how this works.

No doubt Rodgers is back in top form. Very costly time management lesson for 49ers.
Yep, I do not care what the sabermetrics say, or whatever name it has on football, there are players you do not give the ball back, as Joe Namath once said ‘Great quarterbacks do not lose games they just run out of time’ giving the ball back to Manning, Brady, Mahomes or Rodgers is a huge mistake, the 49ers should have ran the ball and give specific instructions to the RB to not score, then call a time out with 15 seconds left and try to score from that position of the field during the next 3 plays, after all GB had no time outs left so they were at their complete mercy and they let them live.

Yep well put.  There are a select few quarterbacks you give give ball back to.  Just knowing what will happen.  Either that or if the giants give the ball back to any quarterback at anytime they are pretty much in trouble.  I'm thinking if the giants can control the ball for about 58 or 59 minutes they should be able to squeeze out a win or 2 this year.  Gonna drop Judge an email and let him know 58 minutes of ball control is the critical number.

I broke my rule of never trusting a giants player this week, NEVER again!

Honestly I can't blame you.  Outside of saquon everyone is a bench player especially with sterling shepherd out with an injury.  Danny is too volatile for ff.  And the receivers and TE spot is crud.  Only one I'd start is maybe the punter, they get some serious work in.

Woah wait a minute now, didn't you tell all of us here that the New York Giants were going to make the playoffs, and that the Cowboys sucked and some other stuff etc etc Cheesy  Truth be told Dallas looks REALLY good..as much as I hate to admit it.

Also any chance that Kenny Golladay will pan out to be a decent fantasy receiver this year? Ol boy just spreads that ball around too damn much..hit up your shiny new expensive toy already!

Eating those words.  Honestly I can't see the giants beating anyone right now except maybe the Bears  Grin

In all honesty the cowboys offense is sick.  Still don't like their defense they are an injury away from being a defense that will let up 30 points a game.

Feel bad for Kenny G.  Dude catches everything he needs to be on a winning te and he would be a top 5-10 Wideout.  Right now he is a 60 reception, 700 yard, 4 td kind of guy on this team.  Giants lost 2 offensive lineman to season ending injuries already so Danny boy will be running for his life again all season.  No time for route development.

I mean lets be honest it was pretty easy to see that the Giants weren't going to be very good.  That said, they certainly have gotten better and Danny boy is a solid QB.  Not good, not bad, but solid.  Yeah Kenny G is just in a bad spot, but I also feel like they could do more to help get him the ball.  You paid a shit ton for him, start trying to get him the ball more and create that connection between the two.

I never thought the giants were going to be good, and let's be honest eagles lol.  Redskins, giants lost by a point because of an offsides on a missed end of game fg, and a 2 minute warning drive from Atlanta being 2-1.  Not a what if guy just saying the state of the nfc east was and is always up for grabs this year.  The odds were worth it.  Cowboys I do admit are a little better than I thought.  Dak recovered remarkably from that horrendous injury I didn't think he would be the same.

It's the wire day again!!! Don't forget to make your picks so that I can't have anything I want again  Grin

I almost feel bad for the psychos, almost.  The third highest score in the league this week isn't good enough for the win.

On the bright side, I squeaked out a win with the second lowest score, which now that I think of it was very lucky. I should probably stop bitching about the wire.

Does this make me the lowest score of the week? Help me choose a player. I need 2 wide receivers hehe. Also, the Patriots vs. the Buccaneers on the next game week. Can Tampa Bay cover -6.5?

This below might also be a good investment opportunity during the next bear market when they are cheap to sell to newbies of the next bull market hehehehe.

Dapper Labs, a creator of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the Flow blockchain, has reached a deal with the NFL to create an NBA Top Shot-style marketplace for digital football collectibles, according to a report by Sports Business Journal.

Sources told the publication that the deal makes Dapper Labs the NFL Players Association’s second-largest source of digital licensing revenue behind EA Sports’ “Madden” video game franchise.
