Rough game for the 49ers. Watched the second half and they didn't do themselves any favors. Another tough one was the running into the kicker down 21-7 which turned into a td for the eagles and essentially sealed this one up. As a giants fan I hate to say this but it's going to take a monster game from either the Chiefs or Bengals. 4 rushing tds vs the best rushing defense in the 49ers. I'd like to see the Bengals and eagles match up here for the SB.

With that being said has any team ever made it to the superbowl with theor 3rd string qb lol. Hoping Josh can come through in the second half. Gonna a need the 9ers d to step up and get a to or 2.

Agreed, but do you not think or speculate that Kyle Shanahan has created a plan for AJ Brown already? Shanahan can be argued as being the best game planners of all the head coaches presently active in the NFL.

Kittle and McCaffrey both will need to have a good day for the 9ers to proceed. The Eagles' run-defense is ranked 16th, right in the middle of the league, so the 9ers' run game will likely be the deciding factor. That's one of the reasons I'm not so worried about the fact that we're going into the NFC Championship with a rookie QB. Don't get me wrong, the 9ers have had issues playing on the east coast, so it'll have to be error-free football for them to get the win.

But we all know that defense wins championships, so the our D needs to keep our offense working within the capabilities of a good run game. If the Eagles rack up the score as they've been doing so far this year it'll be difficult for our offense to keep up.

Regardless of who wins, this is turning out to be a pretty good season of playoff football. Last year's playoffs were full of amazing matches, and this year has been pretty exciting as well.

If the Niners can some how win it all (which I think the champion is going to be either Cincy or KC), they are going to look like geniuses for going out and getting McCaffrey. That guy has been such a versatile weapons for them since he arrived. I think it was game 2 when he had that pass,run and receiving TD..ridiculous.

You're right though defense often wins championships..but Burrow and Mahomes got other plans (assuming they get past Philly)

Will it be 49ers' defense that might test them? I am not certain, however, what we know is San Francisco allowed the fewest points against them per game this season. Also, if Eagles win, it might not beat -2.5 spread.

This is not regurgitating. I do not know what those people from ESPN are saying, they might be hyping the Eagles for their performances on the regular season and against the Giants.
