Brady and his wife absolutely did not put their entire net-worth's in to FTX, absolutely a rumor.
Disapponting but not very shocking. Tom Brady has not been playing very well since the regular season. It might be because of the divorce which might also be caused by the bad investment he and his wife made in FTX. He also cannot retire. He has to make $650 million he lost in Sam Bankrupt-Fried's blackhole hehehe.
I seriously doubt that he would have that much invested in one company, he doesn't strike me as that kind of a risk-taker. I can see the scammers making the claim that his share was worth that much.
In any case, this Cowboys' kicker might be in a mafia list of paid players somewhere. Missed 3 extra point field goals? This is very head shaking.
Actually it was a streak of 5 consecutive missed points after. Four in last night's game, and one in the last regular season game against the Commies. Mafia connections are not out of the realm of possibilities.
San Fran.
Ouch, my bleeding eyes!
The Dolphins are also highly unlikely to be a moving spot with Tua showing well for the most part, outside of his continued concussions. I mean if the guy is smart he'll move on from football if he wants to have a brain that's not made of mush by the time he's 30, but I don't see him walking away. The Titans aren't nearly good enough for Brady to want to go to. Getting rid of AJ brown ruined those chances.
I could see the Raiders, and have heard this rumor, I'm just not sure why that would be more attractive than Tampa.
I think the Raiders are a very likely scenario. Or, staying put in Tampa. All that is assuming he plays at all. If I were in his position, I'd start focusing on the family and make an effort to reconcile with the wifie. There are plenty of ways he can continue to earn money without playing football, possibly even more than he would earn by playing. He's already earning millions from endorsements alone. Regardless of how much he had invested in FTX, I doubt it's about the money.
I think the Niners have a really good chance of winning it all. Which is crazy. Not sure about Dallas. They played well last night but they are not consistent.
The only concern I have is traveling to Philadelphia. Not that the I think the Eagles are that good, but that time difference has been an issue in the past. I'm rooting for the Giants this weekend with as much tenacity as I'll be rooting for the 9ers. If the Giants win, the NFC Championship game will be in San Francisco.
@wolf- sorry I'm not very good at splitting out the code here for conversations like you did above..
Your bleeding eyes with the "San Fran" quote...I don't get it..?
I still don't really understand the value of going to the Raiders. They've got a middling defense, and a so so offense. Sure they have arguably the games best WR in Adams, and a great TE in Waller, but that's not better than Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and the rest of Tampa's receiving core IMO. The Raiders do have a better RB, but that's not a bid difference maker. Perhaps going to the Raiders he's got a promise of being able to run things the way he wants, as well as potentially being told they are ready to load up on top tier free agents. But, who knows lol.
The Niners getting past the Eagles certainly won't be easy. Going to be fun to watch. (Cheering for the Niners and Giants as well, playing Philly and Dallas, two teams I hate..easy choice).
