My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?
Yes, it seems to be true, I participated in excudo bounty last year and until now my work has not paid yet. And that's very long, maybe the money collected in ico is used developers for vacation because there is no convincing progress from this project, I am really disappointed.

if its translation slots are usually fixed and for signatures the long you remain in a sig campaign the higher your stakes but for bloogs, facebook and twiter your friend might be right as stakes are diluted while more participants join to support this project .

I suggest to continue what you have started because you will waste your time and effort doing that bounty for the past months. Its not always based on how long the period of an ICO is. Sometimes its based on the number of participants or your rank in this forum. Smiley

Not true,it depends on the number of participants,if the bounty has few participants it would be profitable for those few people,in the otherhand if the bounty has thousands of participants you wont get much tokens, lastly depends on the outcome of the campaign because morelikey successful ICOs will pay you a lot and thoe who will failed will give you pennies or nothing.

You are right, it depends on the number of participants and also tokes allocated to distribute after the ICOs. The more participants join in that ICOs, the lower tokens will be gotten by the participants. In fact, I ever join an ICOs that took for more 8 weeks, and the dev added 3 weeks more because of some reasons. And I see it was unconsistant, because the tokens distributed didn't base on the spreadsheet. It seemed unfair ICOs.

I think the hinger rank you joined the bigger amount or token to earn. And not just the longer bounty campaign the higher chances og earing, it depends also if their are many investor and costumer you get during the campaign.

I think it might be because of a long-running project so many participants are interested in joining and have no restrictions for the participants, so there will be thousands of participants, while the promised prize is limited to the participants so the prize will decrease while the number of participants increases.

This is not a fault for ICO Project Owners. If they can't make success then they won't pay you. If they can't make ICO success on time then they will add more stage for ICO. It is a very normal matter if a project runs for over 5 month then lots of participants will join in their bounty program. But their bounty budget won't be increased. So, If a campaign has lots of participants then everyone will get lower coin/Token.

yes, it is true, the longer an ICO takes place it will be more banya participants who participate in the ICO so that the bonus or gift will we get will be less
decide to leave or stay that way back on your beliefs

Yeah it is best to spend some time scoping out bounty programs and trying to find the gem that not many people are participating in.

I think this argument is straight away wrong. Only good projects pay good amounts of bounties so longevity doesn't matter at all. I really love how some million dollar projects pay like thousand dollars to its supporters.

Sometimes the longer the bounty, the bigger the earnings but sometimes it endend up to be a small amount. If the campaign did not get the support, the earning will be low.

Pretty much yeah, unless you are a high ranking forum member then you’ll be left behind, twitter campaigns you can do quite well in if you have a large following but if not then you’re again left behind

The number of participants may affect the number of coins you can get. As for the reasons for the delay in ICO's time, I think it is because they have not raised enough funds. A project delays the ICO several times, which proves that no one is optimistic about this project, so they can't raise funds. Even if the ICO succeeds in such a project, its coins will not be valuable. This should be the reason why your friend advised you to give up because they are wasting your time. Time is money my friend.

I myself often follow the long bounty campaigns. The reward will depend on the campaign that I follow, the token allocation, and rules from the bounty managers. We cannot say for all bounties that longer the bounty, fewer the rewards. For, I have ever met the very legit bounty that I did for about 3 months and I got big rewards at that time. So, it is better to learn which one that offers you a good token allocation, period, and also the rules.

In my opinion it is possible, because with the added time there may be additional participants, although of course the income will not be the same. But usually they provide extra prizes for extra time campaign, because they definitely also benefit with ico extension time.

Yes,I must agree with that. That's why I try to find short bounties, approximately for 1 or 2 months. If  they delay it,I ask the bounty-manager to leave this campaign with saving my stakes.

Some time ago I saw an ico extend its campaign time for 8 weeks, and provide a total additional prize worth $ 200k. There will be differences in each project, but if there is no additional prize, of course the result will be smaller.

I guess we can agree with that if the bounty managers didnt set the limit of participants, i mean while the bounty still running and the registration form not closed, everyone is free to join the bounty, with more participants joining the bounty, the smaller reward you can get.

I feel that way, I follow ico in august 2017, and finish in january, token division in february, if you know I only get paid 2 $ for bounty social media, and 5 $ for bounty blog.

As far as I know, there is usually an additional bounty when a project extends its campaign period, and they will announce it in social media. So maybe you can ask their social media administrator to make sure.
