Gambling is a strong addiction that once addicted is not easy to get rid of. Here it is impossible to get Medicare or medical formula that can completely get rid of gambling. But with good motivation and honest advice there is a possibility to get rid of gambling to some extent. In my locale people who are addicted to gambling often resort to anti-social activities like fights, robberies, thefts, murders etc. Bringing them under the law is not getting any benefit. However, an organization/institution called "Rehab" is working privately with gamblers and drug addicts in Bangladesh and they are already getting great success.

Im very lucky in that I grew up with maths bias, learning statistics and probability theory even when quite young. So this is how I view the world on just about any subject there is a relevance to a range of outcomes always possible in varying degrees with various bias applicable. This structured view of event outcomes helps combat addiction repetition or excessive risk taking in alot of subjects especially involving money and bets.
I would recommend if someone is really struggling to reset their thinking and outrun a bad habit involving money, doesnt have to be pure gambling people can waste money on lots of spending activities but my idea is to learn the structure beyond what you are spending on dont be blind to risk vs reward and the maths behind a product. I do think that could help fix the view of the world, its never just purely random theres always some pattern to recognize imo it will help addiction. Write down bets, compare contrast should have build up more of a considered view some games are better suited then others to revision and thought but to process better the game you play I believe it will help in progression.

When someone got addicted to gamble it will very hard to control the attitude.if someone is not addicted it can easily control it if he/she is not surrenders by gamblers but we he/she is always with gamblers it will not be easy for such to leave it because it will be motivated by does gambler, and easily such can get addicted.so the best to avoid all this stupid attitude, is to avoid addiction and to avoid addicted to gambling, is not to start. Devil easily enter addicted gamblers that have no source of income. I have read several news like this in different social media, so i have not shocked.

If someone commits suicide due to gambling, that person likely thinks they are done with everything. And if he has debts and can't pay them, he might choose suicide to end everything. But he forgot how his family could carry on without him.

It must have been hard on his family, being abandoned by the people they loved so much. And it's all because of debt and gambling. When someone is already in debt and is only used for gambling, that is a fatal mistake because it does not guarantee he can get a win but he can get a loss. And if he lost, how could he repay his debts?

My friend's sister once committed suicide because she had a broken heart, as a result of this her mother became stressed and finally had a stroke and until now she is still half-paralyzed

Yes, it's really an unfortunate incident because out of all the people, it's the grandfather who took his own grand daughter to blackmail his own family. Every addict knows this feeling and some are even selling almost everything inside their house, some even resort to breaking other house just to feed their minds to continue from gambling, they just don't know what they're doing because it's already on their system which prevents them to weigh things from right or wrong.

I agree with that, I know that casinos and other gambling platforms are good for the nation's economy because the millions worth of tax will be helpful to build infrastructures and other things needed but if the nation is already booming already, it's time to ban these kind of activities because the consequences are not really worth it. Take for example South Korea, they have their own casinos but only the tourists can use it and not their own citizens as it's viewed as unlawful act and doing such will result into a jailtime.

That's too sad indeed, there's still other option to make it right and to pay for his debt, but he chooses the shortest way, I think he don't have any support system as well that will help him to process things. If anyone of us suffer from this we should know that we need a professional help for this and we don't need to sacrifice our life to escape from this misery there's always a solution to anything.

I feel sad when I see someone commit suicide because of a gambling addiction using debt-ridden money and I have little thought that that person may have a large amount of debt and some other problem that is driving his suicidal thoughts.
But I think this person killed himself because he had a large amount of debt just to gamble even though he was the boss at the company so he chose to kill himself rather than have to bear the shame of having a lot of debt for the sake of gambling.

Suicide is not a solution to get rid of any job rather I think through suicide a person escapes from a job or place forever. An addicted gambler forgets all these things. Such incidents happen almost everywhere in the world. But for this it is necessary to raise awareness. There is no reason to kill own self forever, if a man is willing and able to pay back his borrowed money by working hard. Any gambler should get a good education before gambling. Earlier there was no educational system about gambling, but nowadays, as gambling has taken shape as an industry, various types of research are being conducted on it all over the world. Also get a good idea about how to get an addicted gambler back to normal life.

one of the bad examples done by gambling addicts who are already crazy. from this story it can be a reminder for us that having a responsible way of gambling is very important to keep gambling in a fun way without disappointing other people like the people in the story you shared because having committed suicide made his wife and children disappointed by losing family members family because of a gambling problem.
it is very sad to be in debt for gambling and commit suicide.

maybe we as sane people will think that why should we commit suicide when there are all solutions. but not for gambling addicts who are too crazy or already depressed and psychologically disturbed.

Unfortunately setting up limits for yourself and other can be very difficult, thanks to the internet we have access to almost anything we may want no matter where we are around the world, this has made self-restrain a rare characteristic as almost no one limits themselves and their desires on purpose in order to develop their discipline, and without it then it is becoming easier for people of all walks of life to become addicted, or to at least develop behaviors which can lead to addiction.
