Just saw a headline going around, it seems that the Adesanya / Whittaker scrap is set to take place on February 12th 2022. Not bad, it will give both fighters some much-deserved time to get into this as they should, as rested and as healed as possible. I can only imagine what tempo that must be, to be on the top of the division for that amount of time. Can't really speculate on the outcome, it's a bit too early for that.
I'm a fan of Adesanya so a slight bias, but I also have tremendous respect for Whittaker. This is easily the most anticipated fight throughout the whole UFC for me. I can't think of anyone else that I would be more hyped to be fighting each other. It's probably seconded by Conor vs Khabib a few years ago, but other than that I actually believe Whittaker has what it takes to cause an upset, and Adesanya always puts on a show. Why do they call him flyweight Khabib? Just because he is from Dagestan? And has a good score? There are other fighters from Dagestan in UFC, they came there also with a perfect score. Luckily, their other content is entertaining. <br /><br />From what I can gather this particular fighter doesn't even have the style that Khabib has, which is basically executing basic moves to absolute perfection, which is rare even at an elite level competition. </div>

Don't know if anyone has reported it here, it's fairly new, but Ngannou brought in Glory HW champ Rico Verhoeven to help him out for his fight with Gane. It sparks an interest with me, I was alawys curious on how Rico would do in MMA. Maybe this is his step towards MMA. Maybe? Your opinions? </div>

Ufc<br /><br />Definitely not the most exciting card as compared to the previous weeks dana has treated us too. <br /><br />Fight of the night <br />Davey grant v adrian yanez <br />Coming of is loss to vera I expect the Englishman to come out showcasing all his talents. Yanez is a good prospect but davey will come out with a bang! <br /><br />Main event, not too excited about this event as the goat amana nuñes will be fighting soon, furthermore the last main event between women was the one of if not the worst main event in ufc history. Tate has fire power but im not expecting anything gobsmacking about this fight-excuse the pun. <br /><br />Also on the card are michael chiesa v sean brady as well as rani yahya v kang kyung ho. Both these will be bangers and can go eitherway. <br /><br />Looking forward to the fights! </div>

Who do you guys got for this weekend’s event? It could be one of those cars with slight dogs winning again. And there was a somewhat huge underdog who won last event. The size difference really did matter with Alvarez... And he showed lots of improvment with his stand up.<br /><br />Anyway.. His record looks much weaker than that of Gilbert Burns, but he's young, he's only 3 years in the business, while Burns is there from 2012. Burns is a great fighter, no doubt about that, but fighting with Chimaev is very risky for him. Who needs to be defeated by a relative newbie? And yet he said: 'Why not? I'll give him the opportunity'. I admire his bravery, but I think if they fight - Chimaev wins.<br /></div><br />Chimaev might be relatively new and has less experience than burns but I have seen Khamzat fight and I can say that he is a real prolific striker and his takedowns are also really good. But I think he has one flaw that when he is trying to defend he tends to catch the leg when the opponent is throwing any and if he times it wrong then it might be disastrous. But until now he seems to time it really well and scores a takedown of it. </div>

What if Chimaev wins Burns? Will that put him on top2 place? Wont it automatically make him closest person to have a title fight ? If I am not mistaken, Burns lost to Usman in his last fight. Is he planning - "Chimaev is a rising star that one day will be champ. If I fight him, I will a) no matter of the fight result, get good money b)beating a rising star will give me a closer chance for another title fight". <br /><br /> </div>
