Anyway.. My initial leans are Aori, McKinney, Lookboonme, Levy, Kang and Chiesa.
I've got Lookboonme, Kanf, and Chiesa. I'm fancying more of the underdogs this event, and while I'm avoiding betting on most of them, I expect that to be the case.
^ From a betting perspective it’s good to watch all of the events and most of the matches to somehow get a good feel for the future match ups these prospects could be in. And you find value bets here and there from time to time. I mean I’m not saying I’m a huge winner in betting MMA or anything but there are events that feels ‘easy’ cos you’ve already seen the fighters and their tendencies.
The sport is getting bigger, and bigger every year. I'm sure this would be easy to look up, but I believe there's over five hundred fighters on the roster now. The rate that the UFC as an organisation is growing is nice to see. Even if you're not a fan of Dana, it's nice to see a sport which has always struggled with growth seeming to break away from the negative stigma surrounding the sport. By negative stigma I mean brute's just smashing each others faces, I'll be honest originally I avoided watching it because I believed the stereotypes in it being a little over the top, and that's probably the case for a while.
I watched the first UFC event the other day, and it was incredible how there wasn't any rules, and there was multiple fight ending sequences that would be illegal these days.
