Lol.  I can't believe some of you guys wasted 50 bucks to watch that dog and pony show.
Mike Tyson and Roy Jones were my favorite boxers growing up and i was in two minds till the day of the fight and then though of watching them scrap at this age and it was fun. I was expecting a draw as it is how exhibition fights are done but i wanted to know who gasses out first and i was expecting Mike Tyson but to my surprise Roy Jones gassed out after the body shots.

And Smith winning wasn't really that surprising imho.  It was a huge jump in competition for Clark.  Even a low motivated Smith won.
Smith winning was not a surprise but winning by submission in the first round was a surprise as he was coming into this fight with a lot of pressure.

Even i missed watch the event completely because i was glued to the Tyson fight and then came to know about the UFC event when i got notification multiple times that UFC is going on  and started watching from the Parker Porter fight Grin.

The fighters that impressed me the most is Miguel Baeza and Anthony Smith who was on a loosing streak and to win by submission was surprising.

A couple of good spots I'm looking at the coming event are Damon Jackson and John Allan.  Books and the sharps seem to value Topuria and with Allan, wait for his weigh in...  He was suspended by USADA for PEDs and was off for a year.  But I think he's better than Dolidze.

Edit:  Another spot is the under 2.5 for Benitez vs Jaynes.  Jaynes has baaad cardio.  Watch the bout vs Tucker.

@SaShiRaJaVu. It might only be Conor. Fans will not watch El Cucuy anymore after his bad loss to Justin Gaethje.
You cannot write off Tony Ferguson because he was defeated one time in 8 years and before coming into that fight you need to remember that Tony Ferguson was foolish enough to cut weight twice in successive period which was not the best of ideas and it will have an impact on the body. He is scheduled to face Charles Oliveira this December and i am expecting him to come out victories.

I didn't have to miss much of the action and I watched both Mike Tyson winning and judges saying it was draw... and in UFC  Smith dominated and win very fast, but I was super impressed with tibetian fighter Mudaerji and I think he is potential for champion in his category.
Parisian vs Porter was also interesting fight to watch between two heavyfat weight fighters Smiley

This is my plan, a bit of Boxing fun with Tyson/RoyJones and then switching to UFC, but I need two monitors for this Smiley

Boxing did not turn to be fun as Tyson was robbed imho. Because of the boxing, I’ve missed ufc event. When I have remembered aboud ufc, I did not find Blaydes - Lewis results...Turned out it was cancelles  Angry But I was so excited to see one of them falling asleep via TKO... weekend spoiled...

Stupid covid testing eliminated Curtis Blades because he tested positive, and main event is now changed.  Embarrassed
New main event is  Smith vs Clark, and this will be very important fight for Smith after losing last to matches against Rakic and Teixera.
He is favorite if we look at the odds, but I have a feeling Devin Clark may upset him tonight and continue his wining streak.

My betting prediction is Su Mudaerji KO/TKO win against Malcolm Gordon.
Don't miss this fight.

Did nobody mention the Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor fight was finally confirmed for UFC 257 in January? Can't say I'm that fussed for the match up itself but it will be nice to see Conor fight again. I feel like he's still to reach his potential and hope he doesn't sulk off again.

People are getting excited about Khabib's insta post a couple of days ago saying see you soon to Dana White, but they could just be meeting up for a kebab for all we know  Cheesy.

Conor eventually fighting Khabib again would surely break records especially as it will be his 30th fight and potentially 30th win. I hope Khabib doesn't retire either way and hopefully he was just emotional after the fight which is understandable.

It appears my speculation on Khabib's return might be real hehehe. His decision on his retirement was from his emotions. He will return after the grieving stage of father's passing. He is a fighter, his mind will be restless in retirement.

@SaShiRaJaVu. It might only be Conor. Fans will not watch El Cucuy anymore after his bad loss to Justin Gaethje.

@tokeweed. My fight of the night is Martin Day versus Anderson dos Santos. The loser of this fight will be out of the UFC. They might fight intensely to have an offer for a new contract hehehehe.

May be Khabib will be meeting Dana White for Kebab  Cheesy but there is hope that he might come back, it was the one of the few easy bets we can do in fighting along with Jon Jones and with Jones making his move to the heavyweight division i am not too confident if i want to bet like i used to  Cheesy.

I do not think that Khabib will fight Conor again but i would like to see him fight Tony Ferguson the cursed fight and if GSP is happy to return i want to see that as a fan.

2 bets for Fight Night:

Anthony Smith - Devin Clark: My bet
Curtis Blaydes - Derrick Lewis: My bet

Anthony Smith - a former contender for the UFC light heavyweight champion has more experience in fights, although the last 2 defeats may put off the decision to bet on him, but I am 100% sure that he will try his best to stay in UFC today. Derrick The Black Beast Lewis, he's one of greatest, huge experience - 20 fights in UFC, last fights he was really incredible, remembering TKO vs Oleynik. I believe he's in a good form today. ^  The Dec 19 Fight Night event could be a PPV in on itself imo.  McGregor wanted to headline but Dana White wouldn't budge.

This weekend's card isn't that good but do try to watch the matches.  You could find some value here and there.

Let's get ready for UFC fight night Blaydes vs. Lewis with Dana White introduction:
https://twitter.com/danawhite/status/1331688895000367105

Don't miss early prelim fight Su 'Tibetian Eagle' Mudaerji vs. Malcolm X Gordon and fight I mention earlier as my pick for fight of the night Miguel Baeza vs Takashi Sato.
Like Dana said, do not blink on this one, and don't expect this to be decision fight.

Can't say I'm that excited about this card either. UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Chimaev in December 19th has some good fighters on it. Khamzat Chimaev, Greg Hardy and Jose Aldo are all fighting on the main. Michel Pereira is always fun to watch with his acrobatic street fighter moves but no idea why he's on the preliminary card though.

Anyway, I just pulled the trigger on a Baeza and under 2.5 of the Mudaerji match at 2.51ish.  I think I'm gonna regret this cos my gut says Sato could win vs Baeza after watching tape on both.
Takashi Sato and Miguel Baeza have all the potential to become the fight of the night and i hope it will not go the distance. I will stay away from wagging a bet as both these fighters have knockout power and anything could happen Grin.

My picks for this card are Jonathan Pearce, Gina Mazany, Anderson dos Santos, Norma Dumont, Bill Algeo, Josh Parisian and Curtis Blaydes and i might try a parlay as i am pretty confident about my pick this time.

^  I think Baeza's leg kicks will give him the edge tho.  But it's very dangerous from an open stance with Sato being a south paw.  But yeah, kinda sketchy the more I think about.  Lol.

Albazi vs Zhumagulov was pulled out due to visa problems for Zhumagulov..  Just like Yan at 256.  UFC 256 has already dropped two title fights.

Sad..  I was really looking forward to see Albazi again.

^  Yup.  Smiley  I won a bit at football and the UFC, so I thought I'd put 10 bucks on a long shot parlay and do something fun out of it.
Congrats on the parlay and hope you are doing the fight of the night competition with the bet you made. It is a hard bet to win everything but best of luck and i have to look into a few fighters as i am seeing some new fighters that are not in my radar but the main even i have to go with Curtis Blaydes because of his wrestling skills and i am expecting Derrick Lewis to battle the ground game for most of the rounds and we know what happens when the fight goes to the ground.

My first impression is yes, under 1.5 since Blaydes' last 3 out of 5 bouts finished under 1.5 and same with Lewis.  But also have a gut feeling that it's a trap line.  Dunno..
Yeah why do we have that same gut feel. It's the reason that I didn't pick them as fight of the night. Something tells me that both fighters will be cautious in the early rounds and they'll just end up swinging for the fences while catching their breath later on Grin

Stil undecided but we'll see if the odds remain or goes higher.
