@Bttzed03. Agreed, however, he is 36 years old already. He might be thinking that he has no more time hehehe. He wants to retire with money and only spend time with family hehe.

This is Dana's responsibility. He is not paying his fighters the money that the fighters deserve.

Hehehe the reason for his move down back to lightweight is becoming clear from his statement. He is 36 years old and he wants to receive a $1 million retirement cheque which can only be earned by fighting Conor.
Grin

No disrespect to RDA but he probably needs to fight at main UFC events (not "filler" fight nights) before he could fight one of Dana's cash cows. He's a small fish for someone like Conor who is still chasing big money fights and potential title fights. If UFC 257 materializes and Conor wins against Dustin again, RDA will remain in the rear view.

UFC 255, Deiveson Figueiredo coming of as a huge favorite at 1.31. I think he'll most likely win too but the odds are just too low for me. How do you think this might end up? KO/TKO, Submission, Decision?

Who else is worth to watch in this card?

I have been busy for almost 3 days now because of the recent typhoon that hit the Philippines, it just devasted my home and left with a muddy floor and muddy appliances so I haven't made a bet for UFC Fight Night Felder VS Dos Anjos,
It is sad to hear mate, the world is going through shit and on top of that a typhoon, not even sure what is going to hit next and when will the world go back to normal Undecided.

It was amazing main event and Felder showed he is having big heart, standing up five rounds with Dos Anjos, after only five days preparations.
He had great cardio and speed but he had no chance to win in this fight.
Felder was preparing for Triathlon and hence it is not a big surprise about his stamina but RDA had a good fight and called out Conor McGregor and even he responded and that is a fight i would like to see in 2021 because it was scheduled twice and unfortunately never happened.

Really had a blast this weekend. Can't believe that I got the correct ones from my prediction. Not gonna lie, I really had a bad betting streak in the past weeks. Good thing that I somehow won back some of my BTCs from these UFC bets.  Grin

Hello! I am searching for a UFC event and I am just new to this thread, and after seeing the last event I should say that it was a crazy fight between Felder and Dos Anjos, and it is a very sportsman for Dos Anjos at the end of the round I really think he surely deserves that win.
Welcome to the thread and there was a prediction competition last week and hopefully we will see more competition in the future and waiting for tokeweed to put things together  Wink.

There were talks about the event getting cancelled when the supposed main event was cancelled and Rafael dos Anjos was gracious enough to fight anyone to save the card so that the rest of the fighters gets paid and respect to Paul Felder for taking the fight in short notice to save the card.

There are many familiar faces for UFC 255 and Deiveson Figueiredo getting the main card was a good surprise as Flyweight champions usually never get a main card when Demetrious Johnson was the champion Grin.

Co-main even was also amazing KO win for Khaos Williams who proved his class and I think he will soon fight with top fighters in his category.

So who you guys got?

https://twitter.com/ufc/status/1327666764616921089

I am taking Dos Anjos in main event against Felder and main reason is very short notice and only few days he had to prepare for this fight.
Abdul Razak Alhassan' Judo Thunder' is also favorite against Kalinn Williams and he will probably win, but I would not be so sure to place a bet.
Other fights are really hard to predict, and I expect to see a good fight Brendan Allen vs Sean Strickland as fight of the night.

So who you guys got?  It looks like a tough card to make bets on.  I parlayed Morono, RDA at 2.32ish and Hansen, Granger at 2.38 which should be pretty safe but it doesn't feel safe.  Lol.

I was also thinking of fading Anders cos he obv had a botched weight cut but it looks like the match was taken off the card.

Let's take a little bit of a detour here, today is UFC's 27th birthday. I can't believe it's been that long. UFC 1 is still at the top of my head or at least that's how I feel  Grin Relive how Royce Gracie introduced Jiu Jitsu and made everyone tap out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqU6kgWHj_Y (warning: these are nasty fights)

^  I'm not taking anything away from Felder...  But yeah, that's exactly the thing.  He's a commentator, a corner man and kinda just like a part time fighter now.  And he's taking the bout on 5 days notice and agreed to still do the weight cut to 155 and keep it 5 rounds.  RDA def has the upper hand imho.

I think I'm gonna do something like a Morono and an RDA parlay.

Felder on the other hand is somewhat like a part time fighter now like James Krause.  And he's taking the fight in 155 which means he has to go through a weight cut, agreed to do it 5 rounds and on 5 days notice.  That's a tough one.
We need to give credits to Felder because he is doing multiple job as Fighter, Commentator and Cornerman Smiley
He is a good fighter but he had only few days to prepare for this match and I simply can't see how he can challenge Dos Anjos more seriously.
I think that odds for Rafael dos Anjos win are good and I am taking that.
If there was Betnomi competition I would chose win by submission or dession.

RDA is really small for WW
When you see fighters like Rafael Dos Anjos we think about having another weight division so that these fighters will fit perfectly. He is a small fighter for welterweight and 155 pound might be a hard cut and then there are fighters like Kevin Lee, Gunnar Nelson and Jorge Masvidal that would wish to have a division like that.

But yeah..  Line's too deep for RDA from a betting persepctive.
I am going with RDA on this match up and most probably will go the distance .

The picture proves it also, as Felder is already covered with blood  Grin Funny that he was only scheduled to work the event as a color-commentator in this, and now he is the main event of the evening.

Don't know why Dos Santos is huge favourite, he had lost 4 out of his last 5 fights (now in a series of 2 straight losses). Felder has 3 wins in his last 5 fight .

Also, Makhachev was not tested positive for covid-19, but got a staph infection.

But you have to try to look deeper into RDA's record.  He was beaten by tough competition vs Covington who was the former WW interim champ, Usman the current WW champ, Leon Edwards who's a world beater now and a decent fighter in Chiesa who was way bigger than him.  RDA is really small for WW.

Felder on the other hand is somewhat like a part time fighter now like James Krause.  And he's taking the fight in 155 which means he has to go through a weight cut, agreed to do it 5 rounds and on 5 days notice.  That's a tough one.

And imo Felder lost to Barboza but the judges gave the split to Felder.  So in a way, it's like Felder is coming in here with a two fight losing streak.

https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/fighters/19266-paul-felder

And how are both fighters' mindsets coming into the fight?  RDA prolly still thinks he has a chance to rise the ranks and fight for a title one more time.  Felder is like a commentator now who takes fights.  Dunno...

But yeah..  Line's too deep for RDA from a betting persepctive.

It's not the first time this happened. Given the number of active Brazillian fighters, the chances of them fighting each other is high. Another thing is that fighters aren't seeded based on their country but on their records. You can also see a lot of Americans fighting fellow Americans.
There isn't anything wrong with country men fighting themselves over a title, at list, it's not war but a contest that has to do with fist. It was just so matured the way the both kick boxers behaved after the match. I really wish other athletes can adopt so friendly atmosphere with their opponents but, it's very much an individual thing though.
Another thing was, the arena was really empty. I know it's because of the Covid19 pandemic but, it really felt like I them but challenging themselves and asked their trainers to watch. It didn't felt so coll not having spectators around.

~ The match between Thiago Santos Vs Gloover Teixeira, both Brazilians and I wonder why fix matches against country men.

What's the current odds for Felder in your favorite bookie/s? I couldn't see a line on Bistler right now but Betnomi has him at 2.53. Anyone with closer to 3?

Another main event fighter also removed with the reason not announced. The UFC did not have a replacement and cancelled the fight. This is very unfair for his opponent, Megan Anderson.

However, Amanda Nunes and his wife had their new baby only this September. I speculate that he might want to enjoy more of his new fatherhood first before returning.

BREAKING: Amanda Nunes vs. Megan Anderson Pulled from UFC 256

Per an ESPN report, Amanda Nunes will not be defending her featherweight championship against Megan Anderson at UFC 256 after the champion was forced to withdraw from the bout. There are currently no details available for what prompted Nunes out of the contest.

I'm not a big fan of UFC or kick boxing but, I still like the idea of the sport and I managed to view one today. The match between Thiago Santos Vs Gloover Teixeira, both Brazilians and I wonder why fix matches against country men. It lasted only three short rounds but, it was an andrenalin challenge where the more experienced seemed to over come strength. Gloover forced Santos to submission in a tight hold and at the end, the two country men showed each other much love than I expected for a physical sports that dealt with them both hurting themselves. It was such an emotional site for me and Gloover have got a winning tactics even in his 40s.
