Mcgregor is not in shape seems like he is not committed to the fight, you can see the look on his face when he received a punch that put him down, a person who lost his passion for the game will never be back in shape especially now that he wants also to fight in the square ring instead of in the octagon, maybe he is just now chasing money, its hard to see the person who dominates before is now in that position.

Do I get it right - Lightweight title is now vacant. Imo, Poirier should fight Oliveira, and Gaethji should face Chandler. And then the winners should fight for the title. What do you think about that? Would it be fair and correct to raffle the title.

There was some truth in what Dana White said. If McGregor won, there would’ve been a part of Khabib that def would’ve want to come back. Mcgregor vs Khabib 2 would be the biggest bout in UFC history. It would’ve been epic. Oh well...

And how come the UFC didn’t sign Chandler 5 years ago? He fights well, he’s articulate.. The kind of guy who could be a good champ and be a poster boy for the UFC.

I jusat knew that there is something wrong with the movement of Mcgregor in the second round he is not aggressively moving and remains stationary and because of this he was caught by the barrage of punches by Dustin Poirier low kicks did the damage and its good preparation for that barrage of punches, they are one each and it's up top Dana now if he thinks it deserves a trilogy, but it would take some time.

Michael Chandler had a great performance and win against Hooker and this was probably one of the best UFC debuts I ever saw.

I thought Conor had won first round, landed few nice shots in second round, yet still was put to sleep in that round. Almost different Conor, compared to fight against Cowboy. He says Poiriers lowkicks made huge damage on his front leg, could be... But as I know, Poiriers low kicks are not as deadly as Gaethji or Aldo. Confused feelings about that fight.

I thought Connor dominated the first round but he got shook bad pretty quickly and that's a first for Connor. Thought the ref stopped it a little too early as well even though ultimately Connor was likely done. Herb made a bad mistake in the earlier fight getting too close to the fighters and touching them so they thought the fight was over.

I doubt Khabib will come back unless he feels he's a worthy competitor and certainly not for Michael Chandler. I don't think Connor/Khabib is off the table either but he'll need to get a couple of good wins under his belt first. I could see a Poirier rematch or the Diaz trilogy next. Hopefully he doesn't take the rest of the year off as he needs to stay active. I think Poirier trilogy fight would be his next best option as I'm not sure if he's beat him again.

Connor lost to Diaz and still got Mayweather. Connor's stock is still one of the highest in the fighting world so I doubt it would effect the fight and it would still be one of the best options for Manny right now. Ball is probably in Manny's court right now regarding the fight.

It is the most humbling loss in the career of Conor McGregor, he can fully concentrate on his whiskey business as he got knocked out and how can he call out a boxer when he just got knocked out in MMA.

A really great card and great fights, Michael Chandler and Dustin Poirier just smoked their opponents and i was disappointed with the performance of Amanda Ribas.

I agree, his straight left's power is no longer there, Lol, or is it just Poirier chin has hold up against those power punches. And with the loss, Conor's dream of the biggest pay check against Pacquiao is over. I dunno if Pacquiao camp's are willing after this devastating loss of Conor.

Who would want to watch a fighter who has lost against Manny Pacquaio? No hype whatsoever now.

I truly feel the Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor fight was staged for a re-match, it being 1 -1 now... Roll Eyes

Conor are saying his loss was due to him being less active in the octogon... but he was not in it from the start. Yea, Dustin made sure he grappled as long as he could to avoid the 60 second knockout that Conor predicted and after that it was just down hill.

I lost some money, so I am most probably just butt hurt.... but I just did not get a right feeling with this match. Huh

I definitely didn't expect to see McGregor lose at boxing Poirier. I think we might see a part 3 for the belt if Khabib doesn't come out of retirement, but if McGregor loses that as well then I think he'd be lucky to get the Logan Paul fight, let alone Pacquiao. McGregor had a hell of a few fights when at his peak. Him and Rousey were must watches. Those days are behind us though. The search for a new people's champion is on.

Surprise surprise Michael Chandler knocked out Daniel Hooker and made a grand entry in the UFC and his post fight Octagon interview was priceless. I did not expect the fight to get over this fast and the first combination Michael Chandler landed Hooker was down and then it was a matter of time to finish him and hopefully we will see him against Khabib.

Now the main event and i am expecting a great battle for the fans.

It will be a great fight, it will be a stand up fight for most part and Conor McGregor have a pretty good take down defense and Dustin Poirier also prefers to stand up until the fight goes to the ground and he has some great submission skills. I placed a bet on the two underdogs, i picked Michael Chandler and Dustin Poirier in parlay and lets see how that will go. Just two more fights to go and it will be a test for Michael Chandler to prove his worth and i am expecting a wrestling based fight plan to counter Hooker.

Ive seen different numbers. $5 millions + percentage of ppv for Conor and $1 for Dustin.

Checked my old bookie account and found out I have few cents there. Then though I think Conor will most likely win, Ive placed my 10,37 EUR bet on Dustin. 34 EUR looks much sweeter than 13 Grin

not a big disappointment if I lose.
