@notblox1. Star Trek fans will understand what Weili made of Joanna's head after the fight hehehe.

It also appears that uncle Dana has taken the opportunity to create a new storyboard about Paulo Costa after the boring main event hehe.

Co-main event was one of the best fights I have seen in UFC.
Joanna looked like a monster during and after the fight with that thing on her head, but never gave up till the end.

Main event - boring, boring, boring

I had mostly the same thoughts on the match but after hearing both sides' interviews at the post fight press conference, I could see that it was more Romero's fault than Adesanya imho.  Adesanya's the champ...  Romero should do more to get that belt.

Israel Adesanya vs S Yoel Romero (And still)- What a boring fight! I don't know what's Yoel's mind with his sloppy performance he's just trolling. I know all the fans are disappointed with this fight!

WeiliZhang vs JoannaJedrzejczyk (And still)- This fight is must to watch and also this match should be the "main event" of the evening.
Yeah! I agree with you. The Adesanya vs Romero fight is not as explosive as what I expected Roll Eyes. Actually I still remember one of the comments on a group I joined in FB discussing stuff about MMA, he said that it was the most boring title fight he watched. He fell asleep while watching 2x lmao.

On the other hand, it's so amazing that everything is opposite. Zhang and Joanna  brawl until their last breath like two alphas. Look at their faces after the fight, d*mn you can absolutely see the brutality happened especially on Joanna's swollen head Shocked.

I think Israel took a  clue from Anthony Joshua second fight with Andy Ruiz,  where he has to run like a butterfly and sting like a bee,  if Israel had not done such,  Romero might have won,  Romero wasn't expecting such from Israel,  I guess regardless of what you have to do to win just do it, in as much as you get the desired result

^  Gotta love Ferguson man...  That guy cracks me up!  Cheesy  When asked about his funny gloves, he stands up and goes:  'I'm the hit man, dawg.', then followed up by a question about the baseball in his hand, he goes:  'This is for when they run!'.  Lolol.

Other stuff was said in there like Khabib hurting a highschool wrestler during sparring and something about Khabib paying a homeless guy at NY to do push ups and laughing.  Oh...  And it seems Khabib and his friends were cornering Ferguson's family again.  Wow...

Edit:  Almost forgot.  Here are the weigh ins!  Check out that intense stare down between Adesanya and Romero.  I'm a huge Adesanya fan but I fear for the champ.  He could go down.

Edit:  I think the under 4.5 for the co main at 2.10 is good and so is the under 3.5 for the main event at 1.95.

Khabib vs Ferguson presentation (for UFC 249)

https://twitter.com/ufc/status/1236074478385364992

WTF!?
Oh yes baby! And I super like it! At first Khabib was cool but when El Cucuy place his belt in the ground, make some fighting stance and talk sh*t he lose his chill. Honestly, I didn't expect what Khabib did at all Shocked. Their rivalry gets hotter and I think hotter than McGrogor vs Khabib fight. For sure there will be more drama in this, what I just hope is "jumping off the fence" won't happen again Sad.

I predict Weili wins strongly. I suspect undetectable Chinese steroids hehehehe.

This might sound rude, but according to current situation in Chinese, there are no steroids left there Roll Eyes
Everything is used to find a cure against coronavirus. But she will win anyway.

Question to all - how do you feel about women participate in UFC? Personally, I prefer to switch to other channel or do not pay much attention to such fight. I must confess, that I haven't seen at least 1 full women mma fight. I count it like something "wrong".

I like women in MMA. Who would not want to watch Claudia Gadhela, Alexa Grasso, Angela Lee, Megan Anderson, Paige Van Zant in the octagon hehehe?

Watch Weili versus Joanna. It might be more exciting than the main event, I reckon.

@Saint-loup. Yes they are making Khabib angry again hehehehe.

I am not sure about your morale standards in watching a sport if woman is participating, this is 2020 and you are talking like this is really strange. I am a fight fan and i do not discriminate and if there is a great fight i will watch.

Weigh ins going on i am waiting to see who will be missing weight, Yoel Romero missed weight couple of times in championship bouts and waiting to see if he will make weight for the third time.

UFC 213 Yoel Romero VS Robert Whittaker
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZ4BCziGylA

We can see that Yoel Romero in the first 2 rounds that he is in composure and may even takedown Whittaker, but on the later rounds we can see that Yoel Romero is now exhausted and pretty much his movement is getting clumsy, but this is just their first fight and on their rematch, Whittaker still won but both fighters did a tremendous jobs,

UFC UFC 243 Israel Adesanya VS Robert Whittaker
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrN60vGFSAA

Pretty much this fight is more onesided in my opinion, Adesanya surely approach this fight in a more clever way we can all see in his stance that he is watching Whittaker's movement to ready his attack,

With these two videos, I guess this is enough for bettors to make a decision on who they think will win.

Whittaker doesn't look like he has a game plan. He just jump right then throwing punches but doesn't resemble a combo at all. He lasted 2 rounds though.

I'm always reminded by Adesanya and Micheal Page, this two would be a good match. If they could just put them for unification, it would be a good promotion for both Bellator and UFC.

Well, Whittaker is not a good match for Adesanya but I have posted these videos just as a reference for the upcoming fight on the UFC 248 which we can see how both fighters handle Robert Whittaker, and if we could analyze both videos  Adesanya did pretty well and taken the fight in a more smart way.

I would like to see Israel Adesanya win these and I think there is a much bigger probability for him to win than Romero.

We might be neglecting that Weili Zhang versus Joanna will be a good fight also, I reckon. The China girl appears to be strong in striking. It did not show in her fight versus Tecia Torres, however, she knocked out Jessica Andrade to win the championship.

Whittaker doesn't look like he has a game plan. He just jump right then throwing punches but doesn't resemble a combo at all. He lasted 2 rounds though.
Ring rust is a real things and Robert Whittaker fought ten hard rounds against Yoel Romero and after the second fight too he was injured badly and he returned after 16 months and faced Israel Adesanya who was the active fighter and was confident coming into the bout and he came out victorious.

I'm always reminded by Adesanya and Micheal Page, this two would be a good match. If they could just put them for unification, it would be a good promotion for both Bellator and UFC.
It is not even fair to compare Israel Adesanya and Michael Page who never fought a top level fighter in his career and the only challenge he had was against Douglas Lima and he got knocked out cold in that fight, the rest of the wins are padded wins and not against top quality fighters and if they fight against each other Israel Adesanya will school Michael Page.

Yes he denies that he has staph infection, however, what is that hole on his arm? That is not a scrape. It appears infected and this might require antibiotics to cure.
None of the fighters will disclose their injury coming to a bout but if he really has a staph infection then the dynamics of the fight will change, he will be tired and if the athletic commission will not allow any antibiotics it will be disastrous because a fight against Romero will be really tough if you are compromised with health issues.

Yes he denies that he has staph infection, however, what is that hole on his arm? That is not a scrape. It appears infected and this might require antibiotics to cure.

Fight fans grew nervous when watching an interview Combat TV did with Adesanya just ahead of UFC 248. Speculation ran rampant of Adesanya possibly having a staph infection.

Speaking to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, Adesanya shut down those rumors (h/t BJPenn.com).

“It’s just a little something, a little scrape of myself,” Israel Adesanya said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. “That s**t happens, but whatever. A little something. I’ve never had staph. I never will,” he said.
