2. On second thought. I feel it is the influence and conviction of people around them who are into gambling that made them go into gambling at the end of the day.

Actually, others tend to join gambling due to the influence of their friends, especially if the act that they want to join involves money, so there will be a high interest in joining. There is a truth that must be believed in, which is that out of all your friends, it will not be hard for you to find one or more that are not gambling, even though they are in online casinos. You will definitely have one, so there is no way that you will make those from your side stop, and if that doesn’t work, you will have to join them, as there is a proverb that I know that says, “If you can’t beat them, join them.” That will definitely be the result.

So it is not bad to see some that hate gambling to be gamblers, it happens, and they might have many reasons for that; some might be as a result of curiosity or even a change of habit.

Those who judge gamblers, only to find themselves gambling. To be honest, if I found the guy who talks about gambling and bla bla bla and actually he doing gambling is totally stupid. Just he judge people to not play gambling and in the end he plays is just eat your own sh*t, you know what I'm saying.

Most of the people who don't play gamble at all and tried gamble for the first time is because someone he know is winning big or watch some people win a lot from it, I believe this 80% of the reason why.

1. In the beginning they may have been doing well financially and see no reason to gamble, maybe life later on throws them a financial curveball, or perhaps responsibility compels them to look for quick money through gambling. If not attempting gambling was an ethic for them they should have stuck to another alternative why did they choose this one?

2. On second thought. I feel it is the influence and conviction of people around them who are into gambling that made them go into gambling at the end of the day.

In my case, I don't think that I would gamble in order to overcome financial struggles, as it would be one of the worse strategies ever IMO. I think that I would come to a feasible plan, not so risky, but more arduous, instead.

I don't consider myself the kind of guy the one who lets himself be carried away by the current, so even if the people around me were into too much gambling I think that I would be able to restrain myself and maintain reasonable levels.

This is what I think, at least, but chances are that I would behave otherwise if the conditions given by the OP were given.

Most of people that I faced who judge gamblers and gambling, can not explain why it is bad. Their only argument is addiction, but as an addictive to gambling person, they visualize some drunk guy who gambles in a small local slots-based casino. And the reason gambling is bad, because that person looses all the money there. So when arguing with them, if that person really lost because of addiction, or because he was drunk and wasnt understanding what he was doing, they cant comment on that.

At first some judge gamblers often and later they become gambling addicts. I found it very serious to be curious and know what may have been their reason for the sudden change of mind. I know that there are difficult times to make money and maintain money, which is a world problem. I have had some thoughts on it and this is what I think may have been the reason.

1. However, it is a sad story to see people who cast away gamblers thinking they are irresponsible, and then fund themselves on this same web doing the same thing. It reminds me of how vulnerable humans can be, and that anyone can change habits when a condition falls on them.
This is why it is really that recommend that you shouldn't really make out some conclusions towards things specially on whatever other people been doing.Just let them be on whatever things they getting involved into on which we know that it's their money so they do have the rights on what they are really that doing. You wouldnt know that one day you'll be the one who would be engaging into something and this isn't that ideal that you are really that being judgmental on any things that others been doing and this isn't really just that limited to gambling alone but also in other things as well.

Gambling is just for fun and not for making it as a patch up for making money on which you are just that basically putting up yourself on such condition because it is really just that a suicide on this consideration.

I don't know if you believed in karma, (I know others don't believed on it here), but it seems that what happen to those who are against gamblers in the beginning, and then the ironic twist that they find themselves going into gambling for unknown reasons. Or maybe those people who are against just trying to live a double life and so the in the front, they are attacking us, telling nasty things and judging us as if they are really clean, but behind all of this it is just a facade for them and they are the one really gambling.
I don't think it's an appropriate to say this as a karma because gambling isn't a bad thing.

Well yeah, there are many hypocrite that act like a superhero, always doing a good thing and never made any mistake in front of us, but we all know they're a narcissist, have no mercy and tend to take advantage over someone.

Especially if you're live in where gambling is illegal, they will talk shit about gambling, but they're the one who own casino and a gambler too lol.

At first some judge gamblers often and later they become gambling addicts.
But it also happens the other way around: after getting rid of gambling addiction, former gamblers condemn the activity of current gamblers.

I found it very serious to be curious and know what may have been their reason for the sudden change of mind.
The reason for a change of mind is most often new information or experience that allows to look at a past opinion from a completely different perspective.

I know that there are difficult times to make money and maintain money, which is a world problem.
This has always been the case, not just now.

However, it is a sad story to see people who cast away gamblers thinking they are irresponsible, and then fund themselves on this same web doing the same thing. It reminds me of how vulnerable humans can be, and that anyone can change habits when a condition falls on them.
Financial problems and the resulting desperation can push people who disapprove of gambling to gamble. Instead of looking for a rational solution to financial problems (searching for a job or earning money), some people find themselves under the influence of “easy and quick money” that is not destined to be realized.

Humans are vulnerable and often getting traps in their minds. They can say bad for gambling but someday, they can easily enter to the gambling without any reason and the can easy to say that they playing gambling because they are curious. But their curiosity will makes them gets deeper in gambling without they realizes and they spends too much money to fills their curiosity.

Human can change their habits without takes too long especially when they see they found something that makes them interest to that. But if they aware about the danger of playing gambling, they should not trying to make money from gambling because that can gives them a big trouble especially when they lose much money. They must realizes that they can search for the other sources of income to make money so they don't have to use gambling to make money.

That is why we have to watch ourselves in a daily basis, so we can be more attentive to the temptations surrounding us, what give us an advantage when protecting ourselves against them. When you are fully conscious about something, you can think more logically and reasonably to find the best alternative which won't cause prejudice to you. However, when you don't think carefully, and allow third party's opinions and tendencies drive your life, you end making choices blindly, to only regret about them later, when you face the consequences and conscience takes control again.

Humans are indeed severily vulnerable, and to continuously judge others' actions can give us a false sense of superiority, which in the end turns us into more vulnerable individuals yet, because we think we are invencible, smart, wise and nothing can beat us...

Those who find themselves judging gamblers don't really understand what gambling is; it was when they started gambling that they understood it better. Most people will definitely judge blindly.
If you are close to those who don't gamble responsibly, you will feel like gambling will only end up being negativity, and if the person eventually gets convinced to start gambling without proper training and they also fall into the same category of irresponsible gamblers, they will still treat gambling the same way, as they will channel all their problems as an effect of gambling instead of taking full responsibility for their actions.

That's why it's better to really not be affected by what people says to us gamblers, if you hear something, then take it and then brush it aside and continue with your own lives. As you just don't know, those people are really the one suffering and not us gamblers. And in life, not just gamblers, there could be set of individuals who are very happy attacking others, so let's just mind our business and who knows, maybe one day, we will win that one jackpot that will change our lives and leave those people behind for good.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
There's no arguing with people like that, they think they're better because they bet on themselves, not on some event, but it's not like he never lost a bet Wink Betting on yourself can also lead to loss.
Yunno what? This is actually a very different discussion. Personally, I don't think there's any form of compatibility between the two instances; we've all been in situations where we bet on something to either happen or to not. What turns the table against you, the bettor is when you begin to introduce money to gain more money if it cuts.
[...] or don't intimidate them. because that doesn't mean you can't be a loser when you try it and succeed in getting money from this activity. Wink
To be very honest with you, I wasn't able to understand a single point from the post you made... It's basically the repetition of everything we've discussed already. [I think I understand exactly why you got that tag on your profile]

Do you really think anyone that condemns and truly hates the idea of gambling could somehow be found wanting? First of all, you have learn about the options and how to

Ofcourse this can be the case where a person hates gambling or thinks bad about gambling, try gamble once or twice and may win good amount. This is enough for him to change his point of view about gambling and stand with those who are gamblers  Cheesy

Actually, it is the money which determines people's decision to gamble or not. Those who are gambling and winning they won't leave it and even those who are losing always have the hope of winning. Usually, people who never gamble, say bad about gambling. Once they gamble themselves, they tend to like it.

That's right, this means that there is always a possibility for change to occur if money is involved, or what this means is that even if, for example, previously the person really condemned gambling, that doesn't mean that point of view will always persist, because there are always situations that can trigger a change in mindset. and the point of view especially when money talks, meaning that however we cannot lie to ourselves that money is something that we can never completely reject.

This means that there is a possibility that when someone who condemns gambling tries to get involved in gambling for whatever reason and then it turns out that he managed to achieve quite a tempting win then there is a possibility for him to experience a change in perspective, especially if in that situation they really need it. money for whatever they want or to overcome a problem they are experiencing. This means that it's okay not to like gambling, but don't overdo it, in the sense of don't do things that can harm other people, especially people who are involved in gambling, regardless of whether they are responsible gamblers or not, or don't intimidate them. because that doesn't mean you can't be a loser when you try it and succeed in getting money from this activity. in my honest opinion and from observation, those kind of people are most times the worse gamblers. It's easy to regulate the extent you follow up in your gambling habit when you didn't come into the system at the point when you're financially down. You could easily speak up to people about your gambling about if you're just the regular guy that wasn't attacking gamblers as though they are the worse set of human being. When you've been on the other side of having a different view about gamblers and then find yourself in the system and it even gets to a point where you've become addicted and needs someone to talk to, because you wouldn't want an external person to know about your involvement in gambling, it's most likely that you're going to get addicted to gambling and might not have what it takes to come out if it.

Sometimes it's not even about gambling. most of the things we're quick to judge others about end up being the thing we find ourselves actively getting involved in and if we're not careful with the way we follow up with it, it becomes a source that can potentially drain us down.

That's why it is not good to go into conclusion on matters relating to gambling because you might be a victim tommow, apart from gambling, it is an exatablished fact that people end up doing what the have criticized earlier and I see this things as a way nature want to make people understand that no matter how good you think you are, as far as you are a human being situation might make you to do things that you never expect yourself to do, know one has ever seen it all, so lets always think like humans that we are not saints.
I agree with you that a broke person who came into gambling with too much expectation may not be able to control his excessive gambling habit, a critics of a particular act will not want to relate or share his or her experience if they find themselves in such behaviour because they will feel that people will mocked them for endulgung in an act they condemned earlier and such is life, for me if you not into gambling, it is better not to critized or condemned the act because you can't predict what tomorrow will look like.

Everyone is gambling in some respect, you cannot as a simple human being with limited view know the outcome of all risks you take.  Theres zero point to looking down on anyone who gambles as if its anything wrong to be involved in a game.  Gambling money you haven't got or spending money and lending money you cannot afford would be the actual real crimes in terms of bad behavior.

Some of the richest people play card games of some kind or another, its very common.   Breeding race horses is highly favored by the richest tiers of society including rulers and royalty across the world and invariably that involves some gambling big or small.   The main point always play with the money you have spare if thats the game you choose its all fair and respectable imo.

That's true we all gamble to some extent. Some people who say they never gamble will bet on being right, especially during drunk arguments. I have friends who say they despise gamblers, but if they're argue with someone they'll say "I'm sure that it is so, wanna bet for it and see?" and then they'll again say that people who bet on spots are dumb, but you just made a bet, what if you lose? There's no arguing with people like that, they think they're better because they bet on themselves, not on some event, but it's not like he never lost a bet Wink Betting on yourself can also lead to loss.

This is the worst of all cause they are coming into gambling with the wrong intentions so they are going to burn their small money with them to nothing will make them go broke which is not the only loss cause most of those people with such intentions also face psychological issues which leads to chaos in the relationship/family and end up getting separated even.

Some of them are genuinely didn't want to gamble still they proceed cause they thought this is their only remaining chance to accomplish but we have to be right on point, gambling with the intention of making money will most likely go wrong.

More problems than benefits result from playing games where people stake money hoping to make more. The majority of individuals who jump into the gambling arena expecting handsome rewards fail to realize how high the risks are, they might have good intentions at first but, upon continuous loss, discouragement sets in leading them to bet even larger amounts with the aim of getting back what they have lost.

It's a vicious cycle, this one. The kind that can leave you reeling with major financial blows. But losing money isn't just about the numbers on your balance sheet, it's an emotional landmine waiting to detonate as well. The stress that comes with losing those hard-earned dollars? It seeps into every crevice of your life. Straining personal ties, fueling family feuds and casting dark shadows over friendships. And those feelings of hopelessness, frustration? They're like storm clouds rolling in; heralding more sinister issues, depression, anxiety, knocking on your door soon after the cash has already bid its silent goodbye.

You are right this has been a common practice for most people towards gambling because there are so many persons who have hated gambling from the beginning but now they are actually one of those people what can never do without gambling, though your observation concerning the possible reasons why people that hated gambling before decided to venture into it now is a good one and just as you said friends are mostly one of the reasons why so many of them decided to change there mind because there is no way they will see there friends making a lot of wining from there gambling and they still decide not to start gambling, also financial issues could also lure that kind of person into gambling.

Actually, it is the money which determines people's decision to gamble or not. Those who are gambling and winning they won't leave it and even those who are losing always have the hope of winning.

Of course money is the only thing that brought people into gambling, imagine if gambling were only to be for fun how many people would have left gambling by now, so actually as long as gambling is all about the chances of wining money people will always gamble even if they have not won any bet.
