Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
1. In the beginning they may have been doing well financially and see no reason to gamble, maybe life later on throws them a financial curveball, or perhaps responsibility compels them to look for quick money through gambling. If not attempting gambling was an ethic for them they should have stuck to another alternative why did they choose this one?
Do you really think anyone that condemns and truly hates the idea of gambling could somehow be found wanting? First of all, you'd have learn about the options and how to make use of an opportunity to secure a win.. That's already an impossible thing for someone that has no interest.
Usually, people who never gamble, say bad about gambling. Once they gamble themselves, they tend to like it.
You know where the problem lies? Starting up.

However, it is a sad story to see people who cast away gamblers thinking they are irresponsible, and then fund themselves on this same web doing the same thing. It reminds me of how vulnerable humans can be, and that anyone can change habits when a condition falls on them.

I wasn't just a person who doesn't like gambling, I don't like it when people discuss about football as it irritate my ears when they do that, I don't pay attention but even as I don't watch the matches, I do watch the highlights due the curiosity of their arguments, I want to know what really  makes them to argue about football and all that and then I fall in love with Manchester City, it's still a miracle to me how I don't miss Manchester City match and will be ready on comments section to defend anything against the City.

Now, gambling is me and I'm gambling, I love betting but not too much because too much of everything is bad, I'm not doing it because I'm financially broke or because I want to be like others, I'm doing it because I want to and it gives me joy when I see my predictions killing casino and cashing out the little I make from the little I can afford to lose, gambling is simple.

At first some judge gamblers often and later they become gambling addicts. I found it very serious to be curious and know what may have been their reason for the sudden change of mind.
I know two people in my community who I know preach against gambling, but later I discovered that they ended up becoming addicted gamblers. I asked one of them what happened and why he decided to start gambling, but I was shocked by his response. He told me he saw some gamblers, and they told him the amount they have won, and he is underemployed, his salary is not enough, he is struggling to survive, and he decided to start gambling, but the funniest part is that the guy is already addicted to gambling. I never believe someone like him will gamble, with the way he was speaking bad about gambling.

Apparently those people taking gamblers as addicts and irresponsible, are the ones doing more addictive habits and are more irresponsible, logically because they are afraid of even gambling once then becoming addicted. I know some people like this example, and it is not only when it comes to gambling, many activities seems to be bad for some because it is something risky and easy to get addicted, however, many people are gamblers, drinking alcohol or doing risky activities but they still living well, responsible for their families and they know how to do everything with moderation.

Easy people changing their opinion are the ones with weak personality and more likely to get addicted once they start gambling, or just regret their first decision for not understanding how things work.

Except there is a religious or cultural undertone, gamblers are not seen as irresponsible in my location. Gambling is popular in my area and many people engage in it. People look down on gamblers when they begin to show signs of addiction. When people begin to gamble more than they can afford to lose, it attracts public disapproval which cannot include insults. How will a man gamble off his children's school fees or house rent? This kind of behavior will make people criticize gamblers.

However, some people think gambling is a waste of time and resources but they later find out that they are wrong.  I know some people who became gamblers because they see people winning big. Some also tried gambling and enjoyed the experience they had in the process. Be as it may, it is wrong to speak badly about an activity if you know nothing about it or your position is based on mere assumptions.

At first some judge gamblers often and later they become gambling addicts. I found it very serious to be curious and know what may have been their reason for the sudden change of mind. I know that there are difficult times to make money and maintain money, which is a world problem. I have had some thoughts on it and this is what I think may have been the reason.

1. In the beginning they may have been doing well financially and see no reason to gamble, maybe life later on throws them a financial curveball, or perhaps responsibility compels them to look for quick money through gambling. If not attempting gambling was an ethic for them they should have stuck to another alternative why did they choose this one?

2. On second thought. I feel it is the influence and conviction of people around them who are into gambling that made them go into gambling at the end of the day.

At the end of the day it all comes down to the company you keep which is the company you become, that is why they say to choose your friends wisely. You become like the people you put yourself around, you think about what you see and listen to constantly. This is all a byproduct of those actions, so chose wisely!!

That is called irony of life. It is always Common for people to quickly judge others when they find themselves in a better position. But when they are in that same situation they charge imidiately and turn to the best of what they once criticized. That's why they often say that "no one knows tomorrow" finding yourself in a better place today does not mean you will be there forever. Table so turns, and when it turns, it's either you find yourself being advantageous or losing out. When you loose out then you know how life works. I could remember some people who where in bestchange signature campaign, they where criticising people who are into gambling campaign, that all what we do here in gambling board is spamming. But now that bestchange is no longer here, they become dog that eat their excreter. they are even the best spammers today. So Moral of the story, don't judge so quickly or don't judge a book by its cover.

I have observe some people judging gamblers in the society always found themselves doing it, once the things that is giving them money stop, and they will remember gambling as the best way to recover financially so that people will not ask them too much question about what happened to them financially.

And once such people involved in gambling at the end, it will be difficult for them to quit gambling even though they are touching millionaires in that company but they will still be gamble, because they will no longer care what people will say about their gambling. If you watch those that always judge gamblers very well, you will know that they don't have the orientation of gambling and for them to ask question to be part of the gambling, but they will not ask until they begin to experience some challenges before they will return back to gambling they hate in the past.

Allow me to burst your bubble that this people are the worst gamblers casino makes ton of money from because they are gambling with tense and pressure to make money and we both know that gambling under the fiscal effort to make money will make you lose than you will win. There is no way you will have a financial problem and think gambling is going to save you, doing that will only give you scars and more losses you will never recover from, it's better not to try at all.

This people a bit fair in my opinion because been influenced makes you want to learn instead of wanting to win something you don't even have an idea in the first place. Been influence makes you do research about what others are doing to make money, you may be hungry to make money but not with intention of trying to recover loses you have made from other place through gambling, but casino makes money from them because of their curiosity, you fuck around you find out. Anything can happen and be done by people who, even though they previously had a negative perspective on the activity, and one of the causes is as you said OP when they experience an unfavorable situation in their life which leads to financial damage which of course is situations that can cause pressure on the person, and of course when someone experiences pressure due to the financial crisis situation they are experiencing, it is very possible for them to use any means possible to get money without thinking about the risks.

But on the other hand, what makes me quite confused is that you say that these people are those who always judge other people or judge gamblers, from which we can draw the conclusion that this person has a negative perspective on gambling activities, and when he experiences a bad situation in his life like a financial crisis then I think he should not choose gambling as a form of solution, the first reason is because gambling is not a place to make money, and the second is that from the start he already had a negative perspective towards gambling which is why he should have known that gambling is not a place the right way to make money, meaning that I think it is unlikely for someone to get involved in an activity if from the start he already has a negative perspective on that activity.

And what's actually your point? Although it is indeed a sad story when somebody who discourages his/her gambler friends from their vice ends up addicted to gambling himself/herself, it doesn't in any way diminish the value of his/her advice.
Some risks are not just worth taking. It is better to look for other means that can  guarantee no loss to look for the money than to go for gambling. But I also do not see the need for this topic which I have also posted about before. I do not like this topic because gambling is not and should not be a way of making money. Gambling should be for fun. We all know in life that people changes. Someone that is advising you today may have change of mind tomorrow. Even someone that is not gambling can later see excitement in gambling and begin to gamble. But it should not be because he wants to use gambling to earn money.
I guess we hould change the way we see gambling, at least for some who thought they can make gambling as their source of income. I'm not saying it's impossible but we have to assess ourselves honestly if we could really do that. Thing is, if we keep trying even if we are fighting in a losing battle, we will end up getting addicted as we felt being challenge and we like to prove that we can actually do it when it's almost impossible.

Even in business, there's a risk, but it's done in a calculated risk, and some succeed because they see high opportunity to earn than the risk, but in gambling, this is a tough one as our chance of winning is very slim.

This is possibly a reason and they may be thinking wrongly of that, erroneously believing that they can make quick money from it and then go back to their business but we know that gambling doesn't give you such profit. They might also have seen a friend or family member who have won such big money and they get lured with such figures.

2. On second thought. I feel it is the influence and conviction of people around them who are into gambling that made them go into gambling at the end of the day.

It may be influence though because when you follow someone who does certain addiction, you are likely to learn that from that person but it is not in all cases and that is the reason I don't feel it is conviction but influence.

Most times people who have criticized others in such fall in more to it and they become chronic in it. This is why when you don't like something, you stay away from that thing because human behavior can change at any time by an extraneous factor.

It is always unfortunate to see somebody falling to the very problem he/she is advising his/her friends to stay away, but sometimes one can be eaten up, defeated, by the very monster they're battling against.

However, to judge gamblers is one thing but to recognize the dangers of what they're doing is another.

There's a saying that change is a constant phenomenon; oftentimes, things don't remain the same forever; there are always minor or great changes that will definitely take place, and that is what most people don't really understand. Sometimes, someone can really criticize a person's actions or lifestyle, but at last, the criticizer ends up becoming like the person they criticized. It usually happens, like in most cases and with some people.

Those who find themselves judging gamblers don't really understand what gambling is; it was when they started gambling that they understood it better. Most people will definitely judge blindly.

The study of human interactions with different things is really a hard problem to tackle and understanding people and knowing what to do when a circumstance happens is very hard to perfect. This is just post more questions for me.

Do the people understand and have seen themselves to view what they look like outside of their own perspective? Do you think You are a judgemental person if you think They are judging you?

I think it’s somewhat self-centred if you think Other people are concerned about you, but in reality they are concerned with themselves as well and don’t have the time to really judge you. it’s mostly about themselves you know? Majority thinking of themselves, so what makes you think that they are judging?

For me personally, this is a very subjective thing, because people can start gambling for various reasons to start with. although, previously they made fun of people who liked to gamble. It could be that the argument you mentioned is the beginning of someone starting to gamble, even though previously they often judged gamblers. However, with the pressure that comes with financial problems, a person is powerless and takes shortcuts just to get quick money, even from gambling.
second point, environmental or social factors can influence a person's mindset whatever it is. whether it's gambling, or other types of hobbies. even though, at first they didn't like him or even made fun of him. For me, this phenomenon is a common thing that happens to all of us in the community. It could be that there are many who are reluctant to gamble at first. However, because of frequent discussions they try to start new adventures with gambling. or, just want to know a fun hobby that involves gambling.

Well, there are many reasons for someone to start something they initially scoffed at. However, gradually they become more involved than we are. one thing that is interesting about what you said, "how vulnerable humans are" and here we are, who sometimes act against the grain even though we don't like it at first. like gambling, there are those who don't like it at all. But gradually, they turn around and can even become someone who is more superior than the previous gamblers in their environment.

We blend in with our crew's colors, and you're right about how our social circles affect us. Gambling is about fitting in and experiencing that shared thrill, not just to win. To unite over danger and feel like part of something bigger is primal

Maybe we should stop demonizing gambling as a vice. Look at it as a means to explore our dangerous impulses and human need for connection. Embrace it responsibly. Use the abyss to understand yourself and your tribe, not for its own sake. There's real growth

My believe is that this set of people that condemns gambling and later on starts to gamble are mostly pushed into it because of hardship. Frustration and poverty can make people to engage in what they condemn, when they are in difficult situations and they begin to hear about how a person that is in similar situation gambled and won huge amount of money that changed their lives. They will summon faith that they will win too and change their story from poverty to riches, forgetting that the probability of loosing is greater than winning in gambling.

People should learn not to judge gamblers because it's not all of them that gambles irresponsibly and one day they too might find a reason to gamble, either for fun or to make money.

Poverty maybe not the reason on why those people who criticize gambling will turn into a gambler. Since provably the main reason why they became like that is the gambling industry is been so rampant in their place and they had been influenced by his environment then curiosity strikes at their end then that's how their gambling journey starts.

Those people will find out that the thrill factor make people feels like to engage more and later on most of those people will caught on the idea that they can possibly earn a lot of money especially if they see someone win huge or maybe even if they see that the influencers they watch flexing a lot of wealth saying that they can easily earn this money if they play the same as what those influencers do. People should not judge gambler since if we don't know their activities made since maybe we will eat all things what we say against them especially if we found out our self finding online casino games then became addicted to it.

It's funny but these kinds of people exist and the thing with them is they become more invested in gambling more than the regular ones when they get hooked. Some of them usually hide when they gamble because they won't like to be called out for their judgemental but others don't really care.
People find it easy to cast those who they feel are not leading socially acceptable lives but forget that they too can find themselves in such a situation. No one expects to be hit by financial straits and while some will argue that gambling is not the best bet when looking for money since there's the tendency to lose more than you gain, but still, it has helped that's why some who play can't help but put all their hopes into it.
Even though you've got everything figured out for you, it's still not cool to judge as you don't know the hand life can deal you later on.

We find such people in every walks of life. Their reasons for being against gamblers in the initial stage is always unknown but why they now joined the niche since they can't win them, has to do with financial problems. Most people always blame others at things they never thought would become their habit, because at that stage of life, they were actually feeling better than the other people in their lives. Along the line they'll begin to feel like trying it out secretly, when in need of money.

Such a change of thought is always pushed by some testimonials from gamblers who have won big in the game. It then sends the hypocrite to try out ignorantly on the game hoping that it'll work for him. And within him he'll conclude to be better than the gamblers he once blamed in the past. It's simply known to everyone that such people wouldn't go out to seek for gambling guide from those people he laughed at or blamed. Hence, addiction actually waits for such people, in no distance time.

It may not be totally because they want to earn quick money, but some people find their way into gambling because they may have tried some few games via their friends or colleagues up until they got hooked into it as well. In this life, sometimes what will happen to you is very ironic. Your principles in life is somehow tested once you traverse your journey in life.

Basically humans are rational beings, change of thoughts and understanding through factual reasoning can easily happen to such people. Well said, people sometimes begin to see the better sides of those things they, never wanted to do or hated people who did it, and begin to try it out. Such people may not have ended up addicted if they accept their mistakes about shit talking to their friends who are gamblers.

Because those he blamed, assuming he goes back to them, wouldn't let the person get addicted. That's if they're responsible. Although the hypocrite would deem it shameful to do. But, others, like the new set of people actually may not care to teach him properly the best method for staying safe in gambling. Nobody easily accepts he was wrong, that's why such people could become compulsive once they start to gamble.
