That's my favourite method to buy BTC, meeting up with the seller (also, the safest!)

I think that public WIFI are threats to the security of our accounts. Hackers might have an access to our personal information that we entered on our device as well as our accounts. I didn't advice to trade using WIFI connection that we're not sure if it is trusted or not.

100% right public WIFI  are not protected and have less security, which makes hacker to hack easily and can check all details of whom ever connected with public WIFI. It is much better to use your own internet and then do the transaction. About local transaction use public places like Mall, Pizza corner and do dealings in the busy hours so that their will be lot of users nearby so you can be secure.

In any kind of transaction, do not let yourself to trust easily. Always look for something that is missing and allow your patience to stay longer.

Just need to choose the trading channel more thorough and there should not be any problem with that. Read reviews and everything and it will be fine. Never experienced any problem.

I exceedingly dishearten open WiFi...despite what the greater part of these alleged security master jokesters would have you trust the basic actuality that a site utilizes HTTPS alone isn't sufficient to shield yourself from somebody catching parcels (accepting they realize what their doing).

Is it good to trade in ALT pairs ?

It's alright, but it is complicated by the volatility of Bitcoin and the market as a whole.  If you switch in and out of pairs, your technical analysis becomes more complicated if you don't have a direct link to a fiat such as USD.

These are great tips, but it seems that local transactions in crypto are kind of dangerous. Go to a mall where there are security cameras, make sure that you have great Wi-Fi and sit close to a security guard with a gun in case you get mugged? I would think ten and twenty and maybe thirty times before getting into something like that. Surely there has to be a less cloak-and-dagger way? This isn't in any way a criticism of anyone. But it makes me wonder if getting involved in a local transaction is worth the trouble.

I suggest everyone must understand the benefits of transacting through decentralized technology to prevent hacking of data. Some of the new projects like HostGames are into transactions by means of cryptocurrencies.

I think this information is very helpful especially in today's booming crime, naturally we must be careful in making transactions especially crypto transactions because no institution that oversees it all the responsibility of each individual

Pietro.mx ,

It's not about luck but the experience and knowledge you are gathering about that respective coin.
Pump And Dump is part of trading . Don't loose hope. first search about coin then exchange then do transaction ... Smiley

Thank you for the useful information - working with crypto-currencies requires security and unfortunately it often happens that a person thinks about it when he already loses. Simple moments: Do not pass on passwords, if you are asked by anyone. Checking sites-are they real, original. Set maximum security for entering the purse, on the exchange exchanges. Now I'm participating in the ico project - the platform for secure transactions, the minimum payment for transfers. Technology Chechnya is really a new way of looking at the task of sharing resources between people.

Would running each wallet/miner in a different virtual machine with VirtualBox prevent the effects of this kind of malware?

Wow, a lot of info both in the first post and next ones. Thanks for all contributors! Maybe, you can do the same guide on local digital deals? For example, my country isn’t supported by Coinbase, so I have to look for other trading platforms. LocalBitcoins look great, what you can say about it? It’s the question for everybody who had the experience with this site. I’m afraid of direct deals but I need BTC urgently. Will wait for help, thank you all.

One of the easiest ways to pay in BitCoinBTC in person is with a mobile wallet app from a smartphone. Blockchain a mobile wallet app for Android and iOS. It's an online wallet, so I wouldn't recommend it for long-time storage: strictly transactions. Once I know how much I need to pay for an item I put that much in the wallet, and maybe 1 or 2 BTC more just in case there's a last second price change, and when I get home I immediately transfer any leftover funds to a more secure wallet. Blockchain works the same as any other client: enter the seller's payment address and the amount of BTC for the sale to send payment. Blockchain also has a QR scanner built in if the seller has a QR code address.

Thank you for this brief summary of all important trading tips, very much appreciated. Details often can change the whole course of the trade. Also, making sure that everything is clear (what, where, how much of what etc) is so essential, but many people forget it.

All markets are the same, they take advantage of transactions and they take the best cost to swap the sale of coins, so I think the recommended cost is the lowest and the big one you expect makes sense. If they do not have a fee when the transaction they profit from where klo not from transaction costs.
