I would say Stratis gonna be the one on top in close future so Waves and Verge do. Stratis follows the roadmap abit later than it is planned but it doesnt change the fact that the project and team vision are all bright. Waves has many speculations whether it is gonna be the next ETH but I disagree, it is really good but still need to have so much time. Finally Verge is about the complete their projects in couple of months so keep the track and catch the train
At this moment the best opportunity are present by Ethereum and NEO. This two will be back on track faster than the rest. And of course Bitcoin and Ripple are great options, as well.

I believe in ethereum, bitcoin and nem. In my opinion, these coins have good prospects in the future. These coins are very popular and are constantly developing, this is the key to success. 
One info from slovenian startup SportyFi which now became SportyCO. They became official sponsor of Espaniol FC which plays in firs Spanish soccer league.
I am expecting good value increase very soon. Stack some SPF now and you wont regret.

For me the the best 3 altcoins to make a long-term investment right now can be ETH, XRP and maybe IOTA
My top 2 Altcoin for now i suggest LTC and ETHD i was watching the coinmarketcap i see the graph of this 2 Alts it has a potential to pump this month,but it is just my speculation for now,you can decide on your own if you invest this 2 Alts.
NEO and ETH 
I believe these two are good choice for stable and above average ROI.If you are willing to take more risk and hope for a higher ROI, you should take a look at SelfKey and Trac.
