After Icardi's injury the number of news related to Osimhen increased gradually. I guess Osimhen's thinking of staying in Turkey for a long time is really crazy. Osimhen liked Turkey and Galatasaray fans a lot. I don't think that Napoli will accept anything other than cash. It is better not to trust Turkish sports press much as well.

Even if Galatasaray finds 75 million Euro from somewhere, it would be unrealistic to expect Osimhen to stay in Türkiye when he can play in the Champions League for one of the big teams in the top 5 leagues. He already had offers but he wanted Real Madrid so he was left available this season. If he wants to plan his career correctly, he should go to England or Spain, or go back to Italy. PSG were also interested in him but that interest seems to have passed. Osimhen would normally be moved in the second half of the season but after Icardi's injury, it looks like he will stay. Still, you never know, we might see a transfer at Winter transfer window.

As I said at the beginning, Osimhen was initially going to go to an Arab team, but Napoli got greedy and the Arab team gave up on this transfer.
So Osimhen can stay at Galatasaray.
I don't think he will go during the winter transfer period because he has made many statements that he will stay.
Anyway, we will watch and see what happens.

The Turkish League is not a solid platform to win global awards.

Osimhen is the kind of a player who has the ability to win the Ballon d'Or prize. However it is impossible for him to win this prize while playing in Turkey. Because the Turkish League isn't among the important leagues in Europe. Therefore I don't think Osimhen would like to stay in Turkey in next years. But everything can happen in football. Even though he plays at a big team like Galatasaray it is a big surprise for the whole world that Osimhen has come to Turkey at the age of 25. So I don't want to talk certain either.

He is one of the most talented players, and Chelsea has expressed interest in Osimhen to join their club several times. But unfortunately there are major obstacles in terms of salary agreements, so that the club and Osimhen and his agent did not find common ground. And this is a very unfortunate thing for a young player like Osimhen, because Osimhen should be able to focus more on developing his career in football. And the English league is the most prestigious league in Europe, with very tight competition and extraordinary media attention, this could be the perfect stage for Osimhen to show his abilities.

If only Osimhen chose to join Chelsea and put aside the high wages. Then the opportunity to appear in such a prestigious league will give him the opportunity to compete at the top with other best players, and this could allow him to become a potential candidate for awards such as the Ballon d'Or. On the other hand, playing in a less prominent league in Europe may limit his exposure and opportunities to develop at the highest level.

Yes, their performance is enough to achieve this because they have played too hard and strong in enough matches and won the match. But according to the rules of this league, they are getting rewards.  Although he should not have been in this league, he should have been in a bigger and better league because he could have played a very important role in other leagues. if it continues to play with the same performance and strength, why not love it?  Because most people want a player who is good and hard to win matches, all these qualities are found in Osimhen. this team has mostly his name because the strength that has been built at the moment is mostly due to Osimhen's hard work.  Galatasaray's team will be weak if it happens outside of this team today.

By the way, I read in the sports press that Galatasaray will offer Napoli some players in exchange for Osimhen.

Injury suffered by Icardi is indeed very serious and has been confirmed that he will be absent for the rest of the season to heal so it is natural when Galatasaray has the option to really make Osimhen permanent, but yes all the rumors about Osimhen with Galatasaray and Napoli have not really been believed whether Napoli will agree to Osimhen becoming permanent Galatasaray player without clause that has been previously agreed upon.
This is difficult condition for Galatasaray because if Osimhen leaves in the next transfer window then it will be the beginning of decline in the quality of Galatasaray performance which does not have great striker.

Osimhen is a great asset for Turkish football. If the Napoli had not been incompetently managed, a world star like Osimhen would never have come to Turkey before the age of 35. With Icardi injured, there’s no way they’ll let Osimhen leave the team in January. He was the one who brought Galatasaray the victory against Samsunspor with his two goals.
I have the feeling that Osimhen's final destination is Chelsea. The move to Galatasaray was just to leave Napoli because as at the time he left, he was ready for anything but Napoli. He has paid his dues there and as the relationship went downhill, the best thing to do was to leave which was what he did.

Come January, you will see Osimhen joining Chelsea, Mikel Obi and Drogba will make sure of that. As expected, Galatasaray will make him a tempting offer that will be very difficult to reject but because of his career and future, he will not accept because he has brighter chance at Chelsea than in Turkey.

Icardi injury is obviously a big loss for Galatasaray at the moment, but fortunately they have Osimhen this season who can be the spearhead to help win the Superlig and UEL, with the potential that Osimhen have of course they will not mind spending a lot of money and fulfilling the conditions requested by Napoli to get osimhen, although Osimhen is currently impressive with Galatasaray and starting to become the new idol of their fans, but to be honest, it is still unlikely that Osimhen will stay permanently at Galatasaray after we see his main goal so far, Osimhen previously wanted to move to a big team in Europe and we know that so far Galatasaray just as ladder to realize that his wish, so I don't think Osimhen will change his intention to move to a big European team after everything that happened in Napoli and Galatasaray at this time.

Osimhen was not going to Europe, his priority was the Arab club.
Napoli, Osimhen and the Arab Club agreed on a transfer, but Napoli got greedy and asked the Arab Club to pay taxes.
When the Arab Club did not accept this, the agreement was broken.
I think 40-50 million Euros will be paid for Osimhen, I do not think they will pay more.

You know the news in the Turkish sports press, I don't believe in any other new news until something is announced by the club at the last minute. Okay, he may have loved Galatasaray, but love is not enough for him to stay in the team. The club needs to pay Napoli the fee they want, and I think Galatasaray should push for the amount they want, if it is a big club, it should take such a player to the team.

If Osimhen doesn't get injured, I think he can easily become the top scorer in the Turkish Super League.
There is no player who can hold Osimhen, we see in every match that he is very eager to play and score goals.
I think Osimhen will finish the season with at least 40 goals and goal contribution.
Osimhen is the only player in the league who can do this.
I agree, Victor Osimhen in this season we have huge development in Turkish Super League as we have two big names like Victor Osimhen and José Mourinho but sadly referees issue need to have some strict policy and improvement if Turkish FF fail to bring good and positive changes then we can lose this chance of having good name in top leagues.

Osimhen can score goals as he wants because already he has done good with Napoli few years back and still age and quality with him for having few more years at the top level for any league and club so if Galatasaray able to keep him this could be give them good success in Super League and into European competitions in future as well.

I don't think Osimhen needs to prove anything in his Turkish adventure. I'm sure he would like to be top scorer too, but I don't think he has that pressure on him because everyone, Galatasaray fans or not, is aware of his quality. This place is like a lottery ticket for him...

By the way, I read in the sports press that Galatasaray will offer Napoli some players in exchange for Osimhen. It is rumored that Galatasaray will offer Davinson Sanchez and Yunus Akgün or Davinson Sanchez and Barış Alper Yılmaz to Napoli for Osimhen's transfer...
Osimhen has made it clear that he is not under pressure and has no intention to start competing for the highest goal scorer in the Turkish. His sole aim is to help the club to succeed. But from his present form, he could win the award.

The Nigerian has found so much love in Turkey and is already enjoying himself. He has confirmed that he is not leaving this January but his future is still uncertain. At his age, he might want to play in the top leagues in Europe and win more club and personal trophies and awards. So if he has a better offer in other top clubs outside Turkey, he would definitely consider moving. The Turkish League is not a solid platform to win global awards.

To be fair, it would be quite a huge let down if Osimhen isn't the top scorer this year. The fact that he is playing for the best team so far (past two years title winners) and he was worth 100 million when he joined (dropped to 75 only because of contract deal) shows that he must be better than everyone there. Otherwise why is he even worth that much? If some other player ends up scoring more, then it would not make any sense at all, he would be not worth that much and he would lose value.

But, looking at how he has been playing so far, he had 6 games with 6 goals so far, which is pretty decent, considering he had hard time scoring on his first few games as well, we can safely assume that he is going to probably score about 20+ goals easily, not sure if he could reach 30 though, that seems like a stretch, I am guessing about 25 would be what is expected of him. If I was setting odds, I would say 25.5 over or under would be the ideal place to set it.

Actually, things were quite complicated in the Osimhen transfer. Normally, Osimhen was going to go to an Arab team but when Napoli asked for extra money, it didn't happen, so Osimhen said he wouldn't play for this team anymore and this opportunity came up.
He was going to be transferred for around 40-50 million Euros then.

Previously, I also thought that losing a key player like Icardi would affect their sharpness, but that it no happen, because Osimhen has now proven that he can be relied on in every crucial match, the two goals he managed to create in that match have led Galatasaray to be an unbeaten team while this is an unbeaten team at the moment, as well as those two goals have made Osimhen a strong candidate for challenger to be top score in the Superlig this season.

They have been performing pretty well in this season. I think there is a chance that the performance from them is going to be a little on the decline. Icardi has been a very important player for them. Not having him available can actually cause them a lot of problems. The biggest problem is probably going to be players not having good chemistry with the player that is going to play in place of Icardi. Btw Icardi is going to be unavailable for the rest of the season because this is an ACL injury and the injury is pretty bad. About Osimhen it is not sure he will remain full season, so without Mauro Icardi Galatasaray's performance remains in jeopardy.

Lack of rest seems to be a problem for a lot of clubs in my opinion. Training is always going to be hard. But proper rest is very important as well. Which I think a lot of the players are not getting right now in recent football. Because to make more money, they have to arrange more matches and the players have to play more games as well.

Good Luck

With the way Icardi got injured and probably ended his season, having Osimhen definitely helps Galatasaray a lot more now. I mean it looked "useless" transfer as in that wasn't the place they needed a transfer in, they didn't "need" a striker, they had Icardi, who has been the goal scorer last season, and was pretty crucial one year before that, but looking on third season, Osimhen was just a transfer they did only because they actually think it was worth it, it's Osimhen, if you can get him then you get him, that was literally the only reason.

Now, looking at it, if they didn't have him, they would be playing with Batshuayi and that wouldn't really be ideal for them, it would be not enough for such a club. Imagine going from "osimhen is my main striker" to "batshuayi is my main striker", that is a huge drop. Don't want to offend Batshuayi, he is a great player, but Osimhen is a top 5 striker in the world, so it is not the same thing at all.
