To be honest, right now I wouldn't say that Liverpool's chances are bigger than Real Madrid, because there are many reasons why I see it that way, one of them is their performance. But if they manage to improve the weaknesses they currently have, maybe my assessment will change as the improvements they make. They still have plenty of time before this match takes place, so there should be no reason for Liverpool not to prepare well and make the most of the time they have. I am pretty sure none of us would have wanted this sort of game in the RO16 stage, i mean this was last seasons CL final, we would have been happier if this game came in the later stages of the competition, but i guess it is what it is, it is just like the PSG v Bayern Munich game, these are big matches worthy of being a CL final, but we are going to experience them quite early in the competition.

Having said that, i don't think there's any chance in hell that the game is going to be boring or that fans will be disappointed with what they'd see, i am expecting a very open and entertaining game, the both sides are usually always interesting to watch, thus i am not expecting anything different in this game. Well i expect Real Madrid to come out victorious like they did in last seasons CL final.

It was one sided until Reece James was substituted out of the field in the second half of the game, you could noticed the Bournemouth side starting advancing from the right wing since they knew James was no longer present. keep closed eye on Reece James as without him in the starting lineup in this game I doubt Chelsea can get something from it. When Reece James is injuried, Chelsea performance drops and we can see this in the games before the world cup break.

Reece James is arguably Chelsea best player this season, Mason mount has been average and this has contributed to our poor form recently. I think this game is the most  unpredictable match since the win can go both ways. I'm a Chelsea fans and I'll favour my club over another even when the odds are against us. I think Chelsea wins this and if Reece James was to be available for this game then we destroy them both home and away and mightn't even concede in both games.

Yes, but Liverpool are quite a self-reliant team.  They can make anything happen until the last second.  Let's see what happens.  We the audience will enjoy.

I would not say Liverpool will avenge last season's final defeat. but if Liverpool had a better squad, of course, the game would be more interesting. because dealing with the strength of Madrid will be quite balanced if Liverpool can play better. and it will be fun to enjoy. it would be boring if Liverpool suffered a crushing defeat with their game dropping.

If this game had been last season, I wouldn't have doubted Chelsea would have won. But now I have my doubts about it. Chelsea are playing horribly this season, even though they were champions not long ago. I think that Borussia Dortmund could get to the quarter, although they also have problems, but still their results so far are much better than Chelsea.

Dortmund - Chelsea is another interesting matchup to me.

Because I believe that this is a matchup between two close teams in strength these days. I think like this because of seeing Chelsea's inadequate performance in the recent times. However they have made a really good return by their Bournemouth game last. It was a completely one-sided game and an easy win. But we saw this from Liverpool as well. They won against the same opponent by an emormous goal difference also but they were still inconsistent later. Therefore we need to watch a few more games to be confident about something.

Dortmund haven't played a game in the Bundesliga yet after the break. If they continue to have the same defensive problems then Chelsea would come one step forward in this matchup for sure.

Real Madrid ranking top most successful club in the world with countless trophies to their gallery. They've set incredible records in the champions league with winning it three times in a row which I'm pretty sure no team have been able to break that record. Real Madrid have a very choice with picking players from the market and they also have experience coach in the team. First it was Zinedane Zidane who lead the Los blancos to glory in the past seasons, presently is Carlo ancelotti. PSG and Manchester city can't meetup the laliga giant in UEFA history but in the promising future, let's see their outcome.

You're right, for me it's one of the strongest teams of all time, for a moment Barcelona gave it great competition, but I think it didn't measure up, and that's sad, Atlético de Madrid is one of the quiepoq that can give him the fight, however I do not think they can be enough to be able to appeal to have the title removed, for now Barcelona is first in the League, but it is in the Europa League, it is not the same, There are different levels that are handled, however I would think that Real Madrid will continue to have the League title and possibly the UCL, even if the oldest and best players they have leave.

You could say that Liverpool will be revenge for the loss in the final last season, but I think that Real Madrid will win easily in this confrontation. Liverpool are not having the best time in the team, you could even say it's a crisis after Sadio Mane left the club. Now Madrid looks much stronger than Liverpool and I am sure they will win.

However, Liverpool's performance has declined this season. they are trying to improve their squad to be better. now Liverpool's front line is very scary with the arrival of Gakpo.
Hope to compete in UCL. as their next opponent will be in the round of 16 in Madrid. if Liverpool manages to make their team solid before the match against Madrid begins, it will certainly be a very interesting match. because with Liverpool's current game, I think it's quite difficult for Liverpool to get a win over Madrid.

No chance for liverpool to compete for trophy hence liverpool was only aiming for the champion league trophy and entering into the top 4 EPL to be qualified for UCL next season. Liverpool has made an effort to bring gakpo to the anfield and it must be praised. I thought that with the come of gakpo will give a big change to the play style from liverpool. I see that the main target for liverpool to slowly building the squad again to be the same like when mane was on liverpool. Liverpool was making an alternative solution for that.

Of course this is a challenge for Cody Gakpo so that he can become Jurgen Kloop's confidant on the front lines, he will fight hard and prove what he will give to Liverpool. I don't totally agreed many opinion about Darwin Nunez failure with Liverpool trough 15 matches played in Primer League and still have many matches left later. Last night his appearance against Aston Villa he has great contribution how to make space for other player can scoring goals.

I think have possibility with Liverpool attacking line after arriving Cody Gakpo between Salah, Nunez and Gakpo but still possibility with Nunez losing his space if Firmino have consistency performance later. Gakpo become best alternative option for Liverpool because he can play more than two position and give advantage for Klopp when having problem with other player injured.

Gakpo can slot in as a false nine and with Firmino almost likely to leave I think that's where he will be used more often if Luiz Diaz return from injury. Nunez needs to step up and with Gakpo around is position isn't secure again.
Liverpool are in For Enzo Fernandez although he seems too expensive but he is surely what they need.

Real Madrid are not a big fan of Winter transfer so it is not surprising seeing them quite this transfer period.
