The World Cup can have a certain influence on players who then return to the competition and also the CL. But I think it will be more challenging to keep players fit. Players who don't play matches for 6 weeks now may be less fit, and players who play at the World Cup may be less fit because they play too many matches again and may also want to train intensively.
