Barcelona dominated La Liga last season. They continued to perform well throughout the season. Barcelona's performance in La liga has been very consistent. However Barcelona's performance in the Champions League and Europa League matches was very poor. Barcelona can't perform well even against weaker teams in the Europa League. xavi's main goal last season was to secure the La Liga title. Now Real Madrid is without Mbappé and Bayern Munich is having Harry Kane with this all most chances we will have good interesting competition for the title between few clubs like Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester City and Inter can also put their entry again in top four because Italians are also having good depth which is going to help them in this season as well.

Barcelona has indeed performed very well in the LA Liga, but Barcelona has often performed poorly in the past few seasons due to financial factors and injuries to several players which have been the cause of their unlucky UCL. Manchester United problem is not majorly on defence. I can say that the defensive line of Manchester United is fairly good and with the addition of a new goalkeeper that helps  the defence is okay. The problem lies in the midfield where the midfielders are unable to hold ball for some minutes without giving it away. Especially Mount who was newly signed from Chelsea. If ETH can start Mount from the bench and play Erickson in the midfield. I think Manchester United will have results. Another problem of Manchester United is the finishing, Rashford is totally ineffective at the centre of the forward. His strength lies from the flank, if  he can play Martial at the top nine, then Rashford and Sancho in the two flags result might change for him.

Real Madrid can do anything, but still with Mbappe it will be a "normal victory" and without him another "exaltation, fortitude, historical greatness, etc."

If we are able to watch finances of top leagues in European leagues then surely we can understand things in better way with English teams are much superior in finances which are clearly giving them good edge in quality and performance with mostly other European leagues are not able to attract investors like England which is surely not ideal situation in England we have nearly seven to eight teams at same level which are fighting for the top spots but in other leagues we have no luxury like this Germany having only Bayern Munich and Dortmund with France is enjoying with PSG and Spain is having only two giant clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona.

In Italy, we are having few changes but due to recent covid issue they are also facing the worst situation and few top clubs are not able to spend huge amounts for bring quality players so if they are able to have settled things like this hopefully quality and performance improved, and they will be having better results in Champions League as well.

Molde was impressive in first leg, but Galatasaray was really on the top with their performance which allow them to have one goal difference which is going to be vital for the qualification and win in second leg I am watching Turkish clubs for years, and recently they are improving their quality and performance which is good news for their fans here even still things are not sure for their next round qualification, but their performance is surely impressive and Icardi is doing good job with now they need to improve their defense which not good as they needed because they are conceding good number of goals.

But, one thing is sure as consistently they are playing and having positive results things could be much better than last few years, and we can feel good change in Turkish soccer as well because few other clubs are also working on improvement, and they could be able to make their mark in UEFA for the long time hopefully this season we will have Galatasaray in Champions League group stage.

Also for me these strong teams you mentioned are the best candidates to win or at least reach the final stages of the UEFA Champions League. We will see, but i think yes.

Manchester United don't seem ready for the season yet. Their winning against Wolves was like a miracle to me after seeing how many opportunities Wolves wasted against them. Right after that week we clearly saw it about the Red Devils because they lost to Tottenham by 2-0. In the previous season they were nearly defeating Tottenham while they even had Kane.

Manchester United are struggling for now and the group stage draw and the match dates are closing in on one hand as well. Erik ten Hag had better do something about this situation.

He needs to find a way to motivate his players more starting with a better defending than this.

I remember when many said the same thing about Real Madrid in the 2021/2022 season when they won the Champions League.
