Maybe I agree with Mr Uruhara because I think Bayern and Arsenal are equal in the Champions League. But I probably wouldn't favorite Arsenal. Because I have seen how Bayern has had a rapid improvement in the last few weeks in the Bundesliga. They were able to score a lot of goals in just 2 matches. Which indicates that there has been a big change in Bayern's attack line which has suddenly become more productive. But I don't want to underestimate Arsenal who had difficulty beating Porto. Because Porto's defense is highly recognized for its strength. Even in the Portuguese League you can see that even though they are ranked 3rd, they have conceded the fewest goals during this season in the Portuguese League. So it is very natural that Arsenal had difficulty scoring goals against Porto.
But I might also agree with you, Mr Barikui1, that the level of experience of these two teams is clearly different. And Bayern could actually be superior based on their experience. It's just that in terms of quality of play, perhaps Arsenal and Bayern are quite equal. But experience is what differentiates their level. But Arteta is a coach who is very quick to adapt so maybe he can handle it even with minimal experience. But I'm still quite confused about which team to favourite. Because we know that last season there were many surprising results where the top team was eliminated first.

The favorite to win the Champions League title is clearly between Real Madrid and Manchester City. Bayern Munich is the 3rd option if one of Real Madrid's or Manchester City is knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter-finals. Bayern Munich has more experience than Arsenal, so it's natural that many people favor Bayern Munich in the match against Arsenal. In fact, I saw in posts on social media that many people mocked Arsenal because they were beaten by Bayern Munich in their last meeting in the Champions League. With insults like that, Arsenal should get up and take revenge this season because their performance is very good in the Premier League and Arsenal's attack level is also quite strong so against Bayern Munich Arsenal must be better prepared.

The chances for both of them to reach the semifinals seem to be the same, Bayern Munich does not completely have a bigger advantage because Arsenal also appears at full strength so Bayern Munich must be aware that Arsenal is now different so the possibility is big that Bayern Munich will experience big problems when facing Arsenal and vice versa, English clubs Arsenal and Manchester City are making good names in the Champions League this season.

Are you really serious? You think arsenal can destroy Bayern Munich? Noo, I really don't think so, in the uefa champions league, quality and experience is the most important thing needed to have a shot at glory, though this arsenal team have the quality, but they don't have experience needed to execute that, just look at how they struggled against fc Porto due to lack of experience, and I think that will actually cost them in this upcoming encounter between them and Bayern Munich.

Arsenal is in second place as the favorite after Manchester City, this is quite surprising because a team like Real Madrid which has good statistics in the Champions League is not more favorited than Arsenal, but I am quite sure there will be changes after the first match of the quarter-finals is played, if Real Madrid can beat City at the Santiago Bernabéu and also Bayern Munich can take the lead at the Emirates Stadium then the favorite team will change.

Arsenal have indeed been quite impressive in the English Premier League in the last few matches, but I don't think it would be an accurate picture that they would also appear impressive in the Champions League, even in the 16th round Arsenal actually seemed to have difficulty progressing and Porto were a little unlucky in penalty shootout, and facing Bayern Munich the difficulty is even higher, even though many doubt Bayern Munich, they are not a team that will be easily beaten. Moreover, the Champions League is the remaining competition where Bayern Munich can cure the disappointment of its fans even though they did not become champions, but by advancing to the semifinals or finals it would be much better for any team.

I think every team entering this round has great ambitions, especially Bayern when the Bundesliga championship is almost out of reach for them. Besides, Bayern is not an easy opponent for Arsenal, especially in the UCL arena, most of them lose with forgettable results. In terms of current performance, Arsenal is somewhat better than Bayern, but in terms of cup experience, Arsenal still cannot be compared with Bayern. Having to play the second leg at Bayern's home field may be disadvantageous for them as they cannot beat Bayern at home in the first leg. Putting all our effort into winning at home is the immediate task that Arsenal must do before thinking about overcoming Bayern.

I also think Arsenal is naturally the favorite. Because however, currently Arsenal is also ranked at the top of the Premier League, even above Man City. But in the UCL I could probably consider Arsenal and Bayern equal. But if I had to choose who to bet on then I would choose Arsenal. Even though H.Kane and his friends could destroy Arsenal's defense, I am sure that Arsenal has an attack line that can destroy Bayern's defense, which is actually not as strong as Porto. Meanwhile, Arsenal has a defense that is almost on par with Porto so I feel Arsenal deserve to be favourites.

Well laid down for all of us that still don't believe the gunners could go through Thomas Tuchel and his Bayern Munich. Nothing much to say until the second leg of this round.
Having injury crises and issues dropped them down and also the manager has got his own flaws. He'll definitely leave at the end of the season so why not win a trophy?

I don't trust the odds completely, the bookmakers are deceived ASF I won't completely agree with all these odds. Arsenal though has only see two loses at home against West Ham and Liverpool during the cup games. They sure would be stubborn at home.

I agree with you that Real Madrid and Manchester City are on the same level this season. If you look at Manchester City's recent performances in the Premier League, you will find out that if Haaland and Foden fail to score for Manchester City, they find it hard to win their match. I see this as an advantage for Real Madrid against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League competition because Real Madrid does not depend on any players to score goals.

Arsenal has been playing very well this season and I was surprised that they lost against Porto in the first leg of the round of 16 but it was a well deserved victory that arsenal got to move on to the next round. it's unlucky that they will have to play Bayern Munich for the quarter finals. Arsenal is playing very well but Bayern Munich is going to win them. Arsenal has an advantage as they'll playing at home first therefore they should use that and win the game with a high number of goals because Bayern Munich are goal machine and they won't be shy to score you a lot of goals. This match is going to be a good match to watch because Arsenal has alot of things to proven in this game to show everybody's that they have what it takes to becomes the champion of Europe.

What are you even basing this on? They've won 5 out of 6 games in the group stage and had 1 draw. They've won 3-1 aggregate against Lazio and are now in the quarter-finals.
You're probably thinking this just because of the fact they're losing the league to Bayer Leverkusen, currently being 10 points behind. That's true, but it's not about Bayern being weaker than in last season, but it's due to Leverkusen playing exceptionally well.
The average points/game in league games for Bayern is 2.31, in the last season, it was 2.09. If they keep their performance consistent, we should expect them to finish the season with 78 points, while the year ago, they won the league with 71 points.
I think they're doing pretty good.

It's really very bad how people always judge a match by their previous meetings history without checking how active and prepared that team is in the current season, it is obvious that Bayern isn't in their best this season and the team for me isn't that settled yet despite the fact that they have a goal scoring machine in respect to Harry Kane but that shouldn't be a threat to Arsenal, after all Harry Kane was Tottenham highest goal scorer but yet they couldn't win the premier league or the champions league during his stay at Hotspurs.


Exactly, basically every team always feels more stronger while playing in their home ground as compared to when they are playing away because they have more confidence at home since they are familiar with the pitch and majority of their fans are always present in home matches. So literally, every team have that spirit of home advantage so it didn't came as a surprise when Porto won Arsenal at their home ground and Arsenal also retaliated and won them at Emirate stadium.

Bayern Munich's performance in the previous season is clearly not the same as this season. Bayern Munich has seriously deformed this season, so I still don’t know why people are giving them a high chance of winning against Arsenal. People should know that Arsenal are in their best form, and seriously, Arsenal are doing well this season. Furthermore, Arsenal are hungry for the Champions League title too, so I’m sure they will win against Bayern Munich, if not in the Champions League that we are even talking about. In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich is losing to weak opponents.

I can’t argue that the match with Arsenal against Porto was a really tough match, but I think that is how that match should be because the first leg was in Porto House, so Arsenal played an away match, and it is not a new thing that a team is strong in their home, but we all see how it turns out for them in the second leg. 

I'm not surprised at all that Arsenal is a favourite against Bayern. Arsenal's stats in the Champions League group stage look better than Bayern's. Although Bayern has earned 16 points, and Arsenal 13, I think the German team had an easier group. In terms of average goals per game scored and lost, the stats suggest Arsenal is better in both offence and defence:
Arsenal: 2.7 scored and 0.7 lost
Bayern: 2.0 scored and 1.0 lost

The same stats for league games are at a similar level, but it's hard to disagree that the Premier League is much stronger than the Bundesliga.

That being said, it's a bit concerning that Arsenal struggled to get past Porto, as they needed a penalty shootout to go through, and I think Bayern is a better team than Porto.

We need to understand that those seasons that Bayern Munich won Arsenal they were in a more better form as compared to their form this season and lately, Arsenal seems to be a very difficult team to win regardless of the fact that they lost their knockout stage first leg against Porto but they came back in the second leg and Won Porto thereby qualifying for the quarter finals.

You all can agree with me that Bayern Munich is just being hyped in this game between them and Arsenal based on previous analysis but it is obvious that they ain't in their best performance this season but Arsenal is currently in their best form of which they are still filled with so much enthusiasm so the only thing am seeing is that Arsenal may likely win Bayern Munich at Emirate stadium while Bayern Munich will win at their home ground but the highest scorer between the both teams will qualify for the semi finals

This is not about the tour in the next match, on the contrary, this match is a match where Harry Kane can prove that he is still sharp in scoring goals against opponents, hosting Arsenal in the Champions League Quarter-finals means Harry Kane will do it.  not awkward and won't worry about his mentality, especially since Arsenal was his enemy when he was still in the Tottenham uniform, so in my opinion, in the next match, Harry Kane is likely to be able to make Arsenal upset with Harry Kane.  100% fit performance in the next match, because there are several options for Arsenal in this match because Arsenal must really maintain the stamina of their players in maintaining the points they have in the domestic league, therefore in the next match Arsenal will not be too determined to win  in the Champions League Quarterfinals.

Honestly, this still makes me not sure who will win in the first leg. However, because Arsenal is the host of the first leg, Arsenal should be able to optimize all chances of winning. Because home matches usually really help the club to perform and compete more optimally. It's just that Arsenal shouldn't be as bad as they were during the preliminary round in round 16 yesterday, which in fact we could say wasn't great against Porto, who weren't even able to play optimally in the home match. Because, here, their opponent is Bayern Munich which is certainly much stronger and more solid than Porto.

The performance of the two clubs is currently 50/50 equally outperforming in their respective leagues including the UCL.
I see both teams being very strong at home as their advantage will remain there, if Real Madrid miss the first leg then it will be difficult to decide the second leg so I believe Real Madrid will win the first leg ensuring the aggregate goals.
Yes I know that Real Madrid and Man City will still be on the same level, Real Madrid have beaten Man City and Man City have beaten Real Madrid and they now meet earlier in the 1/4.

Yes both teams have the capacity to win this match, the Arsenal that Bayern Munich beat the last time they met in the Champions league is no longer the Arsenal of today. Arsenal has developed in all front, so I think this time they are going to give Bayern Munich a fight. That's what makes this game to balance. I am backing Arsenal to win this game because Arsenal current form in their domestic league is far superior to that of Bayern Munich.

You are correct, but when you examine both teams and conduct a thorough comparison, you will be able to conclude that they are not so far apart that one is clearly superior to the other in terms of strength and who will advance from this stage. Real Madrid and Manchester City have been identified as two of the top teams to win the title this season, but to our surprise, they must now face each other to determine who is the better team. To me, both can showcase their best in this match, and the better team will have success and will qualify for the next round of the competition, as I see them both on an even level.

This season is for the club that are determined and keen on winning, and not for random matches. This UCL fixture comes with impressive expressions, this is a crucial game. Real Madrid vs Manchester City, who's winning? Prior to my opinion, Manchester City will not hold back and also Real Madrid will be aiming for streak winnings.

The UEFA Champions League are mainly for top clubs, the promising clubs are for winning and the mediocre team will fall behind the main points that's supposed to be accumulated. Manchester City is elite team and they don't easily give up when it comes to top runs in the system. Pep Guardiola will always give hope for his team, never stop from putting his best to enable triumphant records and heading straight to major finals.
