It's very hard to do that since Manchester City was a UCL winner last season. Don't be very optimistic about that even though the first game is going to happen at Santiago Bernabeu. I remind you that Real Madrid is not as good as Manchester City in terms of defensive line. City also has more mature attackers compared to Real Madrid.
City is also trying to fulfill its mission to be back-to-back champions of Europe this season. I'm sure that City can draw against Madrid. This is the match between the best of the best from La Liga and PL. I'm picking City to win this game soon.

It surprised me how manchester city gets real madrid as its opponent again. Im feeling good with this. Real Madrid seems aware of the improvements made by Manchester City. ancellotti must be fully preparing his club for the game against manchester city.
This game is going to be the toughest one, considering Manchester City has been a strong contender since last season. City successfully won the competition last season, but this time, it's kinda different since city must be playing with the different squad. Yet it's not all positions filled by the new players.

Yes it's indeed a good opportunity for other teams to advance forward. I was hoping this Manchester City and real Madrid match would have been the final but it didn't go as I predicted. When you talk of experience I will say that both teams have the experience needed in this game. Manchester City has been in the Champions league for consecutive seasons now and majority of the squad they have now have been playing together for some time now. Yes Madrid are equally an experienced team that's what makes this game a perfect one. It is a 50:50 match as both team are being managed by elite coaches too so the game is very tight to predict who will be the actual winner here. But nevertheless I still fancy Manchester City to advance to the semi final.

Manchester city was actually in a very good form as at when they met with real Madrid last season, they also had they strength that they were able to tackle every team they met in the champions league and they record very few losses in their champions league game last season meanwhile Real Madrid wasn't in their very best form to tackle Manchester city as at then but they did their best and still got eliminated.

This season is actually quite different because both teams as in a very good form and they are both aware of what's at stake for them to be able to still continue in the champions league, most persons were actually thinking they will be able to meet at a much advanced stage of the champions league this season but then it's still an opportunity for others who would have gotten eliminated by either of these tea.s to still stay much longer than they would have stayed, Manchester city may not be able to really find if easy winning Real Madrid this season as they are in a much better form.

As compared to last season Madrid is much prepared and they have the experience aswell because they have encountered Manchester city previously and they know it actually did cost them the league so they will be much more careful to handling them this time because they know what's at stake except Manchester city will be able to much goals from this game, it will be an advantage for them subsequently.

Actually, if you look at the current situation, I think Joselu was originally projected as an option and even though he was one of the good scorers last season, the expectations of this player were not big because he was not young so the 1 season loan was enough while waiting for Madrid to really bring in a pure striker for their attack line, it's just that the performance Joselu gave in that match exceeded the expectations expected from the beginning he was borrowed.

Joselu's performance is still quite stable even though it is projected as an option and substitute when the game rotation is enforced but Joselu's presence on the field is enough to make Madrid's conditions very helpful until now so that indeed now Madrid is quite complex in terms of attack because even though there is no pure striker but their attacking players and midfielders are quite complex in making goal productivity awake.

It's difficult to predict what name will replace Walker. Rico Lewis is the only player capable of filling Walker's position, but it appeared to me that he would have difficulty stopping Vini from scoring. Vini is quick and strong.

Manchester City is selected as a strong and good team for Premier League and Champions League. But Real Madrid must be considered as the best team and a strong team for La Liga and Champions League. Real Madrid is one of the best teams in the club level game who have won the most titles till now, and they are still very much ahead in the title race. Although Real Madrid has a good chance to be La Liga champions and I think they will be champions and since they are leading by many points at the moment, they will be champions in La Liga and win the trophy. And also in the Champions League they are in the strongest position and if they can beat Manchester City with their strong performance then surely they have enough chances to win the Champions League. And I think Real Madrid will definitely be at their best to beat Manchester City in the Champions League and try hard to win the title.

I won't say that the Real Madrid team unexpectedly lost against Manchester City in the Champions League last season. Manchester City were very strong in the previous season, and City won with a good performance against Real Madrid. Although City drew the away match, Manchester City dominated the home match against Madrid 4-0.

But this season's scenario is different. Because both City and Madrid squads have some weaknesses. Vini, Rodrygo's performance in Madrid's attack has been erratic. The team depends on Bellingham's performance. On the other hand, Manchester City's Haaland's performance has been somewhat erratic compared to the previous season. And De Bruyne has fitness issues. So it is difficult to predict which team will win. However, I will consider Manchester City as the favourite.

Belief is belief but the realistic is Real Madrid are leading La Liga with big differences against Barcelona and Girona but Manchester City don't have a leading position in Premier League. They are under Arsenal and Liverpool in Premier League with less points than two competitors, even difference is not big but their position is not similar to Real Madrid.

In Champions League, they are both candidates for the title this season but they will have to face with each other and eliminate each other to go to semi finals.

Last season, Manchester City won over Real Madrid and went straightly to their fist Champions League title. It is their first title in history and in total Champions League titles, Manchester City can not compare to Real Madrid but in this season, they are defending their title and want to repeat success of Real Madrid. Defending a title in Champions League is very challenging task and in history, only Real Madrid succeeded so far.

If Manchester City is considered as favorite team for English Premier League or Champions League then Real Madrid must be considered as favorite team for La Liga and Champions League. There is no doubt that Real Madrid is one of the best club level teams. No other team has won more Champions League titles than Real Madrid.  Last season unfortunately real madrid lost but this season real madrid has more chances to win.  This season Real Madrid has formed a great team with young players and it is believed that Real Madrid can definitely beat Manchester City in the Champions League this season. The La Liga title is all but assured for Manchester City, all that remains is to do well in the Champions League tournament.

Mbappé is not a typical Center Forward, though, while Joselu is. To get the best out of him, they would probably let him roam freely around the wings. That's where he is most effective, with the help of his pace. Not someone who just waits in the box to poach for goals like Joselu.

There's going to be a huge conflict in position between him and Vini Jr. They will probably have to switch Jr to the right and the Bench Rodrigo. Sadly for Joselu and Rodrigo, Brahimi seems to be pretty impressive lately. He really tries to put in so much effort.

Carlo Ancelotti will never returned back to base because he has huge tasks to complete this season, always concentrated on improving the performance of the club. It's not easy but he just have to do it since he's the main man for the job. Joselu often struggle to match up the expectations he's having in Real Madrid this season. He's in elite team and he should try his possible best to always deliver when the team needs him, he shouldn't relent because a single pull back can ruined his chances of meeting the best XI this season.

It is very clear that the match between Manchester City versus Real Madrid is not easy to predict, because both teams have the opportunity and have the complete attributes to achieve victory. Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola will of course use the home match as a safe point to achieve victory, and Real Madrid will act as hosts in the first leg, from this aspect Ancelotti squad has a slight advantage. There is almost no room to find the weaknesses of these two teams, because in fact these two teams are the favorites to win this season. This season is certainly very different from last season, so it would be unfair to place Manchester City as more dominant than Real Madrid.

Agree. A player like Joselu still doesn't deserve to be the main striker for Real Madrid. He must be in the bench with that stats. Mbappe is much better than him, they are in a different level.

Real Madrid already planned for a long time to sign Mbappe as their main striker. Sadly, Real Madrid always got some obstacles to sign him. There were too many drama made by PSG to keep Mbappe in PSG. After this season ends, Mbappe contract expires and PSG has no chance to keep him anymore. So, we can assume Mbappe almost 100% to come to Real Madrid for the next season.

Of course, it will be good for Mbappe and Real Madrid. Mbappe will play in a better team, he will have the chance to win UCL with a strong team like Real Madrid. Meanwhile Real Madrid finally has a top striker (CF), Mbappe will be the machine goal of Real Madrid.

Whenever a team wants to buy a player to take the place of older players they lost, they will usually choose the younger players to take their place because we know Joselu couldn't be a long-term option to fill the place of Benzema in Real Madrid. Joselu is already a 33-year-old player.
I think the first option they had was Mbappe in the beginning and they wanted to just focus on Mbappe and hiring this player instead of going to the other options.
However the performance of Joselu was not that bad when he started playing in Real Madrid, but I guess after Mbappe joined this team, Joselu will not have the chance to play anymore. Real Madrid knows the important maths like the Champions League matches, they have to go for better players like Mbappe instead of Joselu.

Because of you guys victory against Madrid last season doesn’t mean that anything cannot change this season, Real Madrid is topping the Laliga table right now, while Manchester City is still in third position in the Premier League; I think it is too early for Manchester City fans to be making mouth that they will beat a whole Madrid.

Predicting match outcome is not easy, if not including bet that Madrid will win this match because of how confident I am about them against City this time; but I will still bet on Madrid to win at the Berneboa and draw at Etihad stadium.

Joselu wasn't signed to Real Madrid to do exactly what Karim Benzema was doing at the club but to come play as striker that represents himself which he's also delivered great performances in some games but his performance as a center forward haven't been too convincing to Carlo Ancelotti and that's why the club is doing everything possible to bring Kylian Mbappe to the club during the summer so he can come and solve the issues that has to do with the striker's roles at the club. Joselu is totally different from Benzema had their patterns of football differs from each other so I think it's absolutely wrong to expect him to play exactly the kind of football Karim Benzema was playing at the club before his departure.
I think the stay of Joselu at Real Madrid wouldn't be too long because should Kylian Mbappe join the club, he'll not be getting enough time to play football at the club
