I know right, Arsenal is not used to be here so we are not programmed to think they are capable of pulling surprises to their fans but what if Arsenal becomes like the rest of the teams that are good. You can't see a team at the top of the Premier League and consider their performance as average, they are more than average team which is why I have a vote of confidence in them, at least to send Bayern Munich back to Bundesliga where they belong.

I admire Arsenal's performance in the Premier League. I haven't anything to say against that. They are even the most scorer team in the league in addition to their being the leader there now.  Smiley

But we don't see the same team in the Champions League. I assume you would agree with me on that as well. We can't say their performances here so far have been very consistent. We have all seen how much they struggled against Porto. There is still a point that they can benefit from though. Bayern Munich's performance in the Champions League hasn't been amazing either. If Arsenal manage to make big difficulties for their defense then things can get really interesting.

The Champions League is a really different arena. Real Madrid have done great things in this tournament in the past, even when they were very bad in the league. Arsenal, when they were very good in the league, are not as good as expected in this tournament. The Champions League has a different ambiance. And I have to say that Arsenal vs Bayern Munich is a match I will never bet on. Maybe I will bet on both teams to score a goal. But I think it is very difficult to know which team will win, and which team will advance to the next round.

No doubt the champions league competition is a different game with different teams competing with other teams that are not in the same league with team and the atmosphere is always unique because it has a lot of fun, high tempo and expectations. Real Madrid being the highest winners so far are respected because they have got a lot of experience on the competition as they have been active in the champions League for a long time now and their performance is a proven record to show the they are one of the best teams when it comes to the competition because they may not be in good form in the league but when it comes to the champions league you will see a different Real Madrid. For Arsenal and Bayern Munich team, Arsenal should be ready to prove that they are an improved team right now because the last meeting between the two teams ended in favour of Bayern Munich and so many number of goals was scored against Arsenal so I think the game will be tough I don't know if Arsenal can overcome Bayern Munich but betting on the game I would rather bwt on goals.

Actually with the look of things Arsenal may likely be kicked out by Bayern Munich on the champions League quarters finals because Bayern Munich are always more favourable than Arsenal on champions league that's why they have more good history on champions league than Arsenal, although is been a while Bayern Munich meet Arsenal but I think Bayern Munich has more opportunity over Arsenal on that match and also considering the fact that champions league is not like premier League that are more easy for Arsenal to perform really good but in champions league the matches are mostly difficult because all the clubs are very strong, although I'm not disputing the fact that Arsenal is not in there good form but the truth is that Bayern Munich is a very consistent team when it comes to the champions League matches and also if you you check there last meeting with Liverpool you will see how good Bayern Munich is and beating Liverpool at the end, so if bayern Munich could perform that good it may likely not going to take much time for them to win Arsenal. So I would just say that Arsenal should focus more on there premier League matches so that there attention will not be divided.
However, Arteta will not just leave the UCL just because Bayern Munich is favored by many parties, but did you know that Bayern Munich is not like it used to be. It's the same as Arsenal in Arteta hands, so both teams have the same chance of qualifying. Bayern Munich is also experiencing a bit of a mismatch between the coach and the players, plus this season will be his last season with Bayern Munich, or it could also be due to the habit of Bayern officials who fired him early. Don't be surprised by the tradition of dismissing Bayern Munich coaches, because as long as they don't meet their targets, Tuchel will suffer the same fate. Compared to Arsenal today, both sides are solid, both coaches and players. Why is this important? Of course, on the field, synchronization is important to build cooperation, and in playing solidly, Arsenal is clearly superior.
I agree with you, even though many people favor Bayern Munich, Arsenal cannot be underestimated, indeed in several years Arsenal has not participated in the UCL competition, but Arsenal's performance in the last 2 seasons has improved rapidly. Last season, Arsenal was able to compete with Man City in the title race, although had to end up in second place but that is a good ranking and this season Arsenal are still competing fiercely in the EPL title race with Man City so for Arsenal's current performance Bayern Munich will experience different difficulties during the last meeting between the two where Arsenal have not been coached by Mikel Arteta and Arsenal difficulty beating Munich.

Don't just say that Arsenal was beaten by Bayern Munich with a fairly large score, it doesn't mean that Arsenal this season will have the same fate, in terms of the chemistry and cohesiveness of the players and coach, there is no doubt that they have worked together well so far and that is very important to bring the team together achieve success.

Bayern are not favorites in the Champions League right now, but they are definitely one of the contenders. Everyone is trying to remember Arsenal's amazing results in the Premier League, but the Champions League is a different tournament and Bayern is a team of a completely different level. As far as I can compare these opponents, it is clear to me that Bayern are superior to Arsenal, despite all the difficulties that the team has had to go through this season. Besides, every team has its downturns, and it may be good that Bayern went through this difficult period earlier, as far as their recent results are concerned.
Currently Bayern Munich is in poor form in the league and it is not even wrong if many say that Bayern Munich is not a contender for the current champion, but I personally see that at this time we cannot underestimate Bayern Munich, because after all Bayern Munich still has the quality and capacity to be able to win the Champions League this season even though it is a bit difficult,  But still they still have a great chance to advance to the final if their become beat arsenal.

The experience and mentality possessed by Bayern Munich is the first factor that should make us keep making them favorites at this time, Bayern Munich's journey in the Bundesliga has indeed ended after this season Leverkusen managed to dominate the championship competition and made Bayern Munich have to focus their current target on the Champions League, currently Bayern Munich's main focus is of course the Champions League and surely they will give everything they can to Demolishing Arsenal in the quarter-finals and I think that should be Arteta's concern and alertness in the game.

Let's not forget how rough this season have been for elite teams this season. Most of them have been fighting for prevailing path this season, regularly been denied and this also affects Bayern Munich. They're among the promising clubs this season but they're not achieving zero title this season, really a rough and tough one for the Bavarians.  Perhaps they're not the only elite team affected, all other elite teams facing difficulties this season, Bayern Munich who happen to be the Bundesliga giant is also affected, they lacked the necessary winning qualities of a formidable team.

The firing Bayern Munich have declined in performance, they no longer have the potentials of competing in the UEFA Champions League this season. Though Thomas Tuchel is trying his best to ensured things run smoothly for his side, Tuchel happens to make it to the list of been one of the terrible managers to handled Bayern Munich, the board working on his replacement because seeing him staying for another one season will spell out doom for the club.

Joselu's statistics are bad for Real Madrid. It is very normal to have a substitute player with this statistic.
My guess is that Real Madrid will transfer Kylian Mbappé as a striker. If Kylian Mbappé comes to this team, it would be very good for both Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappé.
Agree. A player like Joselu still doesn't deserve to be the main striker for Real Madrid. He must be in the bench with that stats. Mbappe is much better than him, they are in a different level.

Real Madrid already planned for a long time to sign Mbappe as their main striker. Sadly, Real Madrid always got some obstacles to sign him. There were too many drama made by PSG to keep Mbappe in PSG. After this season ends, Mbappe contract expires and PSG has no chance to keep him anymore. So, we can assume Mbappe almost 100% to come to Real Madrid for the next season.

Of course, it will be good for Mbappe and Real Madrid. Mbappe will play in a better team, he will have the chance to win UCL with a strong team like Real Madrid. Meanwhile Real Madrid finally has a top striker (CF), Mbappe will be the machine goal of Real Madrid.

It’s clear that Joselu is no match for Mbappe; he was literally rented as a temporary option. By the way, this is an interesting turn in his career: before Real Madrid he did not have any titles at the club level, but now he already has the Spanish Cup + Super Cup and this season he will at least become the champion of La Liga. I don’t know if he will be able to return to Espanyol after such a takeoff. Considering that he is already 33 years old, it is likely that he will simply end his career when he leaves Real Madrid.
If I'm not mistaken, around 2010 he had already experienced the same stage as Cristiano Ronaldo and other players at Real Madrid, but unfortunately his career didn't last much longer and he had to leave Real Madrid to continue his career with various teams. Until finally, at the beginning of this season, Joselu returned to Real Madrid but was still on loan from Espanyol and as you said he was only a temporary striker while the club leaders determined the right replacement after Benzema.

It's not easy because from now on his position is starting to be threatened by the presence of several young players and as an older person it will be very difficult for Joselu to compete. But at least he has won several titles with Real Madrid and I think he will still be happy even though he will be disappointed that the club will not make his contract clause permanent from Espanyol. But what is clear is that Joselu still has the opportunity to add to his trophy this season and that is the Champions League title which all the players really want.

No man. When Champions League comes to quarter finals, there are not many matches left and with player resource at Bayern Munich, they are still one of best teams in the tournament.

They are not at a first, second or third most favorite positions as the possible champion but they have enough power and quality to achieve it. They got a lucky draw to have an opponent for quarter finals is Arsenal. Arsenal are strong in Premier League last and this seasons but they don't have good experience in Champions League and this is Arsenal's biggest disadvantage when playing against Bayern Munich in next two matches.

If Bayern Munich beat Arsenal and play at semi finals, I really disagree to say they won't have good chance to win Champions League. They have problems but they are not too weak compares to teams like Real Madrid or Manchester City.

Arsenal in the Premier League has indeed performed extraordinary, they are able to lead the standings with their good record this season. Well, in the Champions League, of course they also have to be able to perform better because at each stage the opponents they face become increasingly difficult. In the quarter-finals, Arsenal will face Bayern Munich, where Bayern Munich is the team that is quite the favorite to become champions. This match is a big challenge for Saka et al because if they succeed in beating Bayern Munich, the mentality of Arteta team will certainly be stronger to visit the Allianz Arena in the second leg.

In terms of experience, of course Bayern Munich is superior to Arsenal, but in terms of ambition, Arsenal may be the strongest this season. The first leg will be an important match that Arsenal must win because it will make them more confident when playing in the second leg.

The Real Madrid coach is not a fool when it comes to placing players and also when it comes to choosing players to replace players who have left the Real Madrid team. Currently, everyone still admits that Manchester City is a team that is quite strong in the Champions League and also in the Premier League itself, but everyone probably still hasn't forgotten that Real Madrid is a very successful team in the Champions League so that at the moment it is still quite dangerous for other teams in terms of title contention.
Yep, it's true that Carlo Anceloti is a coach who is smart in setting strategy and rotating players, even though Real Madrid no longer has Karim Benzema at the club, in fact Real Madrid is still a strong club in La Liga and also the Champions League, even this season Real Madrid is at the top of the La Liga standings. League and will probably get the domestic league title. Karim Benzema has indeed had a big influence on the Real Madrid club, but Real Madrid has accepted the situation and has moved on. So the absence of Karim Benzema is no longer a problem for Real Madrid at this time.

It is true that Real Madrid's strikers are not as strong as Manchester City's strikers, but with the unity of all the players that Real Madrid has, they will become a strong club that can dominate and perhaps avenge their defeat last season when they were defeated by Manchester City. Vinicius Junior, Juselu, Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham will be ready to battle on the pitch to meet Manchester City.

I can't wait for this crucial match which will certainly be very interesting to watch and it is difficult to predict who will win this round. Manchester City is a strong Premier League club as well as Real Madrid, which has a good performance in the Champions League, a very exciting battle.

It's true that I also see it like that, Arsenal is very superior in the EPL but it seems like they are not that strong in the Champions League. It must be admitted that the Gunners are still less popular than their opponents Bayern Munich, and their glorious history has not at all favored the British representatives. However, this season the hope of continuing to progress is also very open if they are able to take advantage of the situation of the German representative who is not very consistent. I certainly really hope that Arteta can do this and even reach the final round. I really admire the way Asenal has played this season, the collaboration between the players has been great.
Arsenal is actually a better premier league team than in the champions league and it's actually resulting from their style of play and their mentality, the champions league has a whole different way of approach if you must be able to win the champions league or probably get to the finals some day of which arsenal has been there less than three times and that's because they aren't built for it most likely.

For Arsenal to ever get to win the champions league, they will be needing a different coach with a different orientation who can leas them to the Champions league and lift the trophy. Their opponent the German side seems to have more confidence and even experience than they do in that this isn't their first time I'd getting to this point and Bayern Munich ha won the champions league more than twice but I doubt Arsenal has gotten a champions league trophy and that has been the reason for the popularity in the name of Bayern Munich as against that of Arsenal so far in the champions league fixture.

Arsenal has managed to scale through the champions league group stage up to this point where they are in the champions league and very likely this may be the point they may get to end their champions league journey if Bayern Munich get to perform much better enough to eliminate them from the Champions league their season, it's actually going to be a fierce game but at the end one of the must win the game.

I also share the same sentiment as you guys, arsenal have been playing brilliantly in the premier league, but in the champions league, they have been struggling a bit, which to me, I feels like it all boils down to experience, which they actually lack, and if you look at the historical record of the champions league and teams that have won it and teams that mostly goes far in the competition, they mostly have not just quality in their teams, but experience, which I think is key in the quest for champions league glory, so to me, I believe that Bayern Munich have more in their ranks to progress to the next round of the competition than this arsenal team am seeing, because experience will play a very big role in this match between them both.

Yes, currently both of them have quite strong performances and it can be said that in the match there will be very fierce competition, but I tend to really expect Manchester City to win it and advance to the semifinals.
Actually, I was also quite surprised when I saw the schedule for this quarter-final match between Manchester City and Real Madrid because what I expected was that they would not meet and would later meet in the final match, but everything was different from expectations.
In preparation for match like this, player injuries will be the main obstacle in bad conditions, but there are several things that can be done to minimize all of this, in matches for the Domestic League, each team must be more careful in the use of players.
That way, injuries will be minimized, if just one key player is injured, it will have a big impact and of course can give the opposing team an advantage.

If look at Real Madrid current condition with the players they have, it will indeed be difficult to win the UCL title, but if in the transfer market they add several players it could make it possible for next season to be close to winning the title.
It will be conditions like last season and Real Madrid will not be able to really beat Manchester City, there are still few weeks until the first leg and we see how it turns out.
Still talking about the heavyweight quarter final which is a match of 2 great clubs in the UCL. Well I’m not among the many that think the result will be the same as last season especially as Madrid have to an extent had stability to their squad with the addition of Jude. Yes Mbappe to this Real Madrid squad will make it top notch and this season he’s not there with them yet, I’m still seein madrid being able to defeat City in the quater finals of this competition. The 2 teams are very good in how they handle the ball but I think Madrid will have the edge here in this fixture.

Injury is going to be one major factor to be on the lookout for as that could be a strong determinant to this challenge. A team like Real Madrid that’s suffered some great injuries lately will be looking to avoid any heading into this fixture as their players being complete will be a big boost for them. City also who are pressured in the EPL will be trying to avoid any injury as any injury incured now could damage the team’s shape and overall performance. Though the results of last season could be one of the many factors to decide but a match as this holds new possibilities.

The match can go either way as both coaches have very tactical managers that can change the face of the play in the team. Many believes Man City will hop on last season’s victory and win Madrid this season again. Well I laugh because this Real Madrid young squad really have got a lot up their sleeves and are very ready for this challenge. I just hope injury won’t be a major barrier for them because as little as an injury on one player is a bog minus to the whole Madrid squad and it’s not really good enough for this Madrid team. Real Madrid will sure get the victory in this match and yes they will go on to win the UCL and I’m very confident on that happening than any other thing happening in any way.

If Manchester City is considered as favorite team for English Premier League or Champions League then Real Madrid must be considered as favorite team for La Liga and Champions League. There is no doubt that Real Madrid is one of the best club level teams. No other team has won more Champions League titles than Real Madrid.  Last season unfortunately real madrid lost but this season real madrid has more chances to win.  This season Real Madrid has formed a great team with young players and it is believed that Real Madrid can definitely beat Manchester City in the Champions League this season. The La Liga title is all but assured for Manchester City, all that remains is to do well in the Champions League tournament.
Real Madrid can indeed be calmer when facing matches in the UCL. Because Real Madrid already has an advantage in La Liga and is comfortably in first place with a difference of 8 points at the moment. This is different from Man City, which still has to fight hard in the race for first place in the Premier League. but something similar also happened to Man City last season. Man City last season also struggled in the UCL while competing with Arsenal in the Premier League. And Man City doesn't seem bothered by this.

Apart from that, Man City also has several injured players at the moment. So even if later against Real Madrid all the players have recovered, those who have recovered from injury will not necessarily be able to play as well as before they were injured. But I'm still not sure which team should be the favorite.
Real Madrid is a big European club that's won the UEFA Champions League title more than any other club in the whole European continent and the experience of some of their players in the competition gives them the edge when compared to other teams that are still in the competition. Manchester City on the other hand is the reigning champions of the competition and was able to eliminate Real Madrid from the competition last season to reach the final and eventually win and that's why a lot of people are also of the opinion that of they can eliminate Real Madrid last season, they can also repeat it again this season but because I don't think it's going to be as easy as many people think.
The quarter final tie between Real Madrid and current champions of the competition Manchester City is without doubt the strongest tie in the competition and that's because of the strength of both teams. It'll be a very difficult two-legged games for the both teams but considering the performance of both teams in all competitions this season, I'm of the opinion that Real Madrid are going to progress to the finals of the competition at the expense of Manchester City

This may be an advantage for Real Madrid, because their situation is still quite comfortable when we see them in the domestic league. We know that now Manchester City is trying hard to defend its title in the Premier League, they have to compete with 2 teams at the same time who have the same points and there is almost no gap between them. With their position like that, Manchester City must focus more on every match they will play in the Champions League as well as in the English League.

This season Real Madrid looks better prepared than last season, yes they are showing something better this season even though they are strengthened by a lot of young players, but they managed to perform well. In my opinion, Manchester City is still slightly superior if we compare the strength of the two teams that will meet. But that's not a big difference at all, so Real Madrid's chances are still very open. And also this competition will take place twice and it is very possible for them to beat each other when playing at their home base.
