Every team will definitely focus on their UCL matches because this is the most prestigious competition in Europe, and with the quality that Arsenal has this season, it is very possible for them to go further in the UCL this season.
Arsenal is getting the easiest team in champion league. It will be a shame if this club will not be able to pass the group stage to go to the next round. Arsenal fans are putting their hopes to this club but i can't see that in the future if arsenal will be losing and back to the emirates stadium.
Arteta needs more than skills owned by its players to win UCL. The club needs to have everything to get its first UCL trophy.

True, and by being in a group that I think is easy for Arsenal I think Arsenal will have a better chance and to qualify from the preliminary round should be an easy thing for Arteta's squad in the UCL. Of course Arsenal must be able to realize the great expectations of their fans by always performing well and consistently whether it's in the UCL or EPL, and with their current position in a group that is quite easy in my opinion it will not be too difficult for them to qualify for the final round of the UCL.

Only a matter of days Arsenal will face Sevilla, where Sevilla still cannot win and always ends in a draw in their last few matches. Honestly, I hope Arteta will easily pass this match by bringing an impressive performance to overtake points and shift Lens' position. None other than this is also to realize their dreams and also the fans to at least increase their chances of getting their first UCL trophy.

Let's get over with this now! Arsenal has no chance of winning the Champions League. That'll be considered an expensive joke. They should focus on winning the Premier League this season and not prioritizing a competition they know quite well they can't win.
They've had a remarkable season last season, so I expect them to use that energy and motivation towards getting the Premier League job done.

Honestly I wouldn't call it as "no chance". But it is the obvious truth that their chance is lower compared to teams like Manchester City for example. Maybe someone can say that they beat Manchester City in the Premier League once a short time ago. But it doesn't mean that they will surely do it in a Champions League finale also.

But if we talk about Arsenal's chance to reach the finale I would say why not. Because Inter did it last season and made us watch a really good game at the same time.

Why wouldn't it be Arsenal in their place this time? They need to keep their concentration high starting with the group stage.

Arsenal are in good shape but they also know their limits this season. You're correct, Mikel Arteta should tend to concentrate on EPL other than distracting the team in UCL race. Gunners is yet to face any big team in UCL this season, they meets and records thrilling victory against these average teams. EPL race would become easier and possible for them to win and not elite competitions were there's presence of tough competitive clubs. Winning UEFA Champions League is an impossible task for the Gunners, after been absent in the elite competition for long term.
Maybe this season Mikel Arteta will make a difference to last season where Mikel Arteta will also concentrate on the Champions League apart from continuing to concentrate on the EPL. Although in general I am not sure that Arsenal will progress smoothly to the next round, but for the round of 16 I am still quite confident that Arsenal has a better chance of qualifying. Because in group B there are no big, stronger teams, so it is more possible for Arsenal to qualify for the next round of the Champions League.
Arsenal's performance this season is much better than last season and in Group B there is no strong opponent for Arsenal so I think there is no reason for Arsenal not to qualify from the Group even though they have already suffered their first defeat against Lens in the second match, I think it is not big problem.
I remind you that if arsenal was not playing in UCL last season. Arteta's club was only playing in europa league and it was also failed. Arsenal is still on the group stage but it's still potentially to leave from the group as well.
Arsenal is not that strong as you think when it was aboue competing in the european competition. Look at how arsenal got win streak till weeks 33 but it's failed to get EPL.

Arsenal are not doing bad so far, the season is going well and they have managed to be in the title charge so far but i just hope are able to fight till the end this time around. The champions league is a more competitive league and their absence in the champions league might make it a bit more difficult for them as most of their players are not used to such challenges. They lost a match against an opponent they could’ve won easily so it shows that they may find it hard to survive in the champions league and i think if they make it far they won’t go past the knockout round but let’s see how it goes if they can prove me wrong.

The issue with Arsenal isn't that they can’t win the Champions League or the Premier League, but if they focus on winning the two, they will fail to win any. Their performance has been consistent from last season to this season, and I have high hopes for them to win a trophy this season. They have the squad to win a title this season, but they must focus and decide which trophy they truly want now. Perhaps by next season, when they have a greater squad depth, they will battle for two or more titles.

Quote
I didn't expect them to drop points off against Lens though, they shouldn't have lost that game. They should be very focused when they face Sevilla ahead. Sevilla now has a new coach, so they should expect something different and tough.

Arsenal was a better team than Lens, but I'm not sure what happened to cause them to lose to Lens. Their forthcoming game against Sevilla will not be as easy for them to win because Sevilla is a stronger team than Lens as well, and Arsenal will need to put in more effort in this match to win. Sevilla has been quite good in European competitions, as evidenced by their prior record in the competition over the years. The game will be played at Sevilla's stadium, and their head-to-head record is even.

Even if Arsenal don't win the Champions League title this season they can still achieve a good success in the tournament. Because Arteta's system is working really good. But that loss against Lens was really unexpected to be honest. In the end we are just at the beginning of the group stage. But I assume that Arsenal will make up for that point loss strongly.

It isn't easy to achieve big successes with a very young team maybe. But so far Arteta has been doing a good work with this team. They fought for the Premier League title last season and they can do really nice things there and in the Champions League both this season as well.
Artheta is a good manager and I love the stability he has built in the team so far arsenal has been consistent with their form both in the previous season and this season, it was a common error that led to them losing to Lens in the UCL an error I have no doubt about them correcting when they play at home in England.   Arsenal may not stand a chance of winning the UCL title, however, with the energy and dexterity of the squad their chances of qualifying beyond the round of sixteen is very high.
Arsenal is one of the best teams in the UCL and I think they could not get what they wanted in the Lens match. I'm sure they won't make the mistake of the Lens match again. Arteta and his players will take firm steps towards success in the EPL together with the UCL.
Arsenal still have 4 matches left to correct their defeat against Lens in the Champions League and that is a mistake thats Arsenal can make up for in the Champions League match and I am sure that at least Arsenal has the potential to get into the top 16 because Arsenal opponents in Group B are actually not good opponents difficult for Arsenal.
Arteta will show his best performance in the English league and in the Champions League this seasons. If Arsenal does not succeesfull in winner the Champions League title this season, I am a little confident that Arsenal will be able to win the Premier League title this season, although it is still too early to predict who will become champions this season.

For me personally, whether they qualify or not, Arsenal still have to perform optimally, when the composition of players the Gunner has is in ideal condition. After successfully solving Pep Guardiola's strategy puzzle, Arteta ambitions for UCL will be much higher. Remembering that last season Man City was the trophy holder. This opportunity is still open even though in the future the opponents Arsenal will face after the group stage will be much more challenging.
Don't just be able to beat Manchester City in the domestic league and solve Guardiola's tactical puzzle, Arsenal feels confident in the UCL match, I'm not sure they can qualify for the next round after all there are many other great clubs they will face in the UCL, I don't think That Arteta can do that consistently in the UCL and domestic league, even yesterday's victory against Manchester City, I think is normal.

If Arsenal wants to become champions, make sure they can maintain their performance until the end of the season, sometimes they are always inconsistent at the end of the season and in the end Manchester City still wins, Arsenal may have a chance to win any title but I personally am not sure about their current strength still fairly normal.  Wink

I quite agree with you that Arsenal in the Champions League is not a team that is likely to be able to become champions and that is due to many factors, but that doesn't mean they won't struggle to perform well or at least get far enough because as far as I know Arsenal don't have enough. good statistics in the Champions League so when they can reach the semifinals or maybe the final even though they don't win it is still a big achievement for this club because when they were in their glory days with Arsene Wenger as coach they also couldn't do much in this most prestigious tournament.
Focusing on the English Premier League would be very good because the league title is also quite prestigious, especially since they haven't lifted the league trophy for quite a long time because Arsenal was quite weak for many seasons after the glory days were over.
The match against Sevilla in the middle of the week will certainly be very important for Arsenal and this match will be a big challenge for them if they lose it will make them drop even more.

I generally do not place any bet on AC Milan matchup because they are pretty inconsistent as a club and as a team. Definitely can bring in good results and sometimes they perform below average as well. It’s like "sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s shit". I want to say that they have the capability of finishing as the first team in the Champions League group. but it is also very much possible that suddenly they start performing badly. So far, they have not been able to win a single match in the Champions League. I hope that it is going to change. After all, they are performing pretty decent in the Italian league.
The way AC Milan have started in the Champions League is not what is expected from a team like them. This team has made a flying start in the league but why are they not doing well in the Champions League group stage matches? They should have earned full points against Dortmund and Newcastle. Performing well in one match followed by poor performance in another is never a sign of a good team. The good teams will have consistent performances and will not give unexpected performances in any match. Many may have bet on AC Milan in the Champions League group stage matches, those who bet on AC Milan may not win any of the matches. Maybe everyone will refrain from betting in favor of AC Milan in the next match.

I was recounting Manchester United chances of qualifying from the group stage in this season's champions League and honestly the chances of Manchester United is very slim. I do not really understand what is wrong with Manchester United and what really happened to them. Honestly, Manchester United showed strength and commitment in the match against Bayern Munich much they didn't do their best in the match against Galatasary.

It is likely that Manchester United will go empty handed this season. This is because they will go to the Europa League and in the Europa League, there is Liverpool already there waiting to be the champions.
If you ask why Man United is like this, you might forget that several problems are occurring, such as player injuries and problems between Ten Hag and Sancho and the lack of quality players with problems like this it will definitely really affect the performance of any team, not just Man United, but if it happens to other big teams, performance will definitely decline drastically and we cannot ignore MU current problems which are putting pressure on Ten Hag who is responsible for the decline in MU performance.

Its possible that MU not qualify for the UCL and if they want to go to the European league it will also be a little difficult as long as they dont have new, more qualified players.

I just want to watch them against bigger teams than the ones in their group as well. They are really good at dealing with top teams in the Premier League. I wonder whether they can do this in the Champions League too.
Being placed at the top position in EPL didn't mean if arsenal will have same performance in UCL. UCL is far harder than EPL caused by the club must have faced strong teams which are unfamiliar to the club. I would like to see arsenal to face real madrid.
Bellingham will ready to destroy arsenal and kick it out from UCL. There are so many great clubs qualified for the play off.
The fact is that it is like that and the UCL is the dream competition of all European players, the UCL is in the highest caste of all competitions in Europe. If we go back 10 years, the winner of the Champions League title was dominated by one team from Spain, namely Real Madrid, who won the title 5x and the rest was filled by Bayern Munich with 1x, Barcelona 1x, Liverpool 1x, Chelsea 1x and most recently Manchester City won its first title last season. We know that during that decade only 3 teams from England managed to win this title and therefore it was very difficult for any team to win this title.

Of course, each team needs great motivation and a winning mentality if they want to compete in this competition and it is not easy because every season there is always progress for each team. Arsenal vs Real Madrid is a match worth waiting for and if the two meet after the group phase we will certainly see an interesting match. Real Madrid with its great history in the UCL competition and Arsenal who are trying to overthrow the throne of the king of Europe.

You said Arsenal should focus on the Premier League and not put too much importance on the UCL competition. However, when you lost to Lens, you actually said you didn't expect it and that you should have won. So I'm confused, do you think Arsenal should focus on the Premier League and UCL or one of them? Then you also said that you have to focus on facing Sevilla, which is a UCL competition.

Just think again Shocked

It was really nice to see a different team in the finale previously. Maybe Inter lost to Manchester City there but they stayed strong most of the time. I would like to see a different in the finale once again this season. Arsenal would be a nice candidate this time. Arteta has been managing the team really good and this effort can carry them to bigger successes.
We may probably see the different final but im feeling so confidence to see real madrid to go to the final. Real madrid is superb now. bellingham has become the best recruitment by real madrid at this moment. Arsenal does have weak mentality to play in UCL.
It was only lucky enough caused by being placed in the weak group. The different story if arsenal would be placed in the strong group like group F. Im sure arsenal will be failed this year.

I just want to watch them against bigger teams than the ones in their group as well. They are really good at dealing with top teams in the Premier League. I wonder whether they can do this in the Champions League too.

I really like Arsenal as well. The progress they have made so far is just marvelous. They are even considered as the 4th biggest contender for the Champions League title by bookies now. However I see one thing in Arsenal that could create a big problem for them when they face bigger challenges in the tournament. That thing is the lack of experienced players in the squad. I mean of course some of their young players have also gained a lot of experience to even lead the team - like Odegaard who is the new captain.

But I think they needed players such as Xhaka as well. They parted ways with him as well in the summer and now they are a very young team. Let's see how far they can make it like this.
Arsenal made it to UEFA Champions League this season and they're exhibiting their very best performance. Gunners are 100% ready to face challenging opponents this season, due to the reason and determination, they won their long-term preeminent rival for EPL title this season with just a thrilled 1 nil winning. That victory really had a positive impacts on the team, Mikel Arteta and his men are ready to boosts their performance in UCL this season. I'm confident they would qualify from from their group, it's not a big deal for Gunners, their main priority is reaching crucial phases in the long run for EPL this season. Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka will lead the team to path of glory this season.
I don't think arsenal having young players it will be a problem to them in the Champions league,  the truth is that arsenal is good in a better form to perform well. The young players arsenal have are really  good, from their performance so far this season I think arsenal are good enough to challenge any big team in the champions league. Arsenal might not be lucky to win the Champions league this season but they will really make a good performance in their in Champions league this season.

Let's get over with this now! Arsenal has no chance of winning the Champions League. That'll be considered an expensive joke. They should focus on winning the Premier League this season and not prioritizing a competition they know quite well they can't win.

Based on their early performances this season, I put PSG at number three and AC Milan at number one with Newcastle at number two. As expected, Newcastle have been performing well in the Champions League but AC Milan have failed to perform at their best. After two matches each, Newcastle are on top of the table followed by PSG on second and AC Milan on third. Each team has one match left and that one match is important for each team. Those who can get full points in the last game will be able to secure the number one or two position in the points table so I see potential for all teams to do well but I want Newcastle and AC Milan ahead.
I don't sure with AC Milan has opportunity finish on 1st or 2nd placed in Champion League group stage, next games PSG become their opponent team after failure with three points achievement in last two matches against Newcastle United and Dortmund. I think PSG still favorite team for first standings position finish and Newcastle United will finish on second place under PSG position. Milan still in poor performance in Champion, although not beaten yet but two matches draw in a row make difficult position lead to knock out round due PSG have winning one match and lead 1 point from Milan.

Lets waiting with next match result between PSG vs Milan, if fail with three points achievement I think Milan opportunity qualify to knock out round almost close exactly if Newcastle United winning over Dortmund.
I agree that it is going to be possible for them but not going to be easy at all. I mean think about it this way, we are talking about a situation where we can see Milan having trouble behind Newcastle and PSG as well, which wouldn't be unlikely.

But, the worst case is they will go back down to Europa and they should be fine there, depending on their draw luck they could go all the way to finals as well. It is not easy to do that but it is also not that hard for a team their talent level as well. Unless they face some team that is much better like Liverpool of course. Milan should instead focus on the league, they should be able to win the title this season if they put their mind into it, and they are doing fine, so it should be possible.

I generally do not place any bet on AC Milan matchup because they are pretty inconsistent as a club and as a team. Definitely can bring in good results and sometimes they perform below average as well. It’s like "sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s shit". It was predicted from the start that this group phase would not be difficult for Real Madrid, because Napoli also experienced a fairly drastic decline in performance after they replaced the coach and the other two teams, Union Berlin and Braga, had quite a difference in quality below Real Madrid.

And for the knock out round, there is quite a lot to look forward to because currently many of Europe's top teams are starting to develop, making it possible for fierce competition to occur.
Real Madrid are still favorites, but I don't think it will be easy for them.
It is easy to make predictions in this group because there is no balance of opponents faced by Real Madrid. Napoli have not been in great form after replacing Spalletti with Rudin Garcia and they have even had a poor start to the season in Serie A. The other two teams are opponents whose quality is different from Real Madrid so they are quite favorites to come out as group winners. Even though many teams are currently showing big changes, Real Madrid must always perform well in every match and becoming group winners will make it a little easier for them to face the Knock Out match.

The knock-out round will definitely produce a team that is much better than the group phase and Real Madrid is again the favorite to qualify for that phase because their quality and experience have proven that they are always able to reach the semi-finals. So I'm still quite confident that they will reach the semi-finals of the Champions League this season even though the opponents they face are tougher.

If you look at the two that have been played, of course it is predicted that Bayern Munich will be the leader of group A. In my opinion, teams like Manchester United, Galatasaray and FC Copenhagen still have the same big chance of qualifying for the last 16 of the UCL. . My prediction is in group A
1 Bayern Munich
2 Galatasaray
3 Manchester United
4 FC Copenhagen

Galatasaray should not be taken lightly, they managed to beat Man United previously. I'm also not sure that Man United can win the remaining four matches, in fact I'm more inclined to make Man United make more mistakes than Galatasaray.
I agree with your scenario, it is difficult for Manchester United to wipe out the remaining four matches in the UCL group phase, because two matches are a little easier to play and win, namely when they face Copenhagen, the rest United have to face Galatasaray and Bayern Munchen again. At the first meeting, United had already received defeat from both clubs, perhaps the most realistic thing for United was to achieve a draw in these two matches.

If United finish in third place, then Ten Hag will bring his squad to compete in the Europa League. However, it should be noted that Copenhagen is currently still better than United in Group A, they have one point while Manchester United has none.

With the kind of performance, Manchester United is showing right now, I do not think that Ten Hag is going to be the coach of Manchester United for a long time, to be honest. He is not being able to bring in good performances. And if Manchester United is not performing in the Champions League, I think we will see some changes in the authority.

After getting all the facilities that he wants, he is still unable to bring in consistent results. Why are clubs like Manchester United who definitely has a decent squad going to be worried about qualifying for the next stage from the group stage of the Champions League?
